This location was perfect for our group of 3 families wanting to be able to enjoy the beach as well as relax somewhere comfortably. We sincerely enjoyed our entire stay and hope to come back again soon!

We enjoyed our stay with 6 adults and our small dog. The location is just a few minutes from the beach. There was plenty of space and the place was very clean. I really liked having the outside shower after going to the beach. There was plenty of beds to sleep in, we didn't have to use the downstairs bedroom, it was very musty smelling I am sure due to the humidity. I think it may just need a dehumidifier and would be fine. The garage ping pong table wasn’t really usable any longer, but the shuffleboard table and boogie board were great.

New Years Stay

Very Enjoyable Stay, this unit was well equipped. It also has a game room area downstairs for the kids which I enjoyed because I was able to have some quiet time to myself upstairs. Plenty of sleeping space. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful Home

We truly enjoyed our holiday at this home! The house is set up perfectly for our large group allowing plenty of space to spread out. House was equipped with everything we needed and the game room in the garage was a nice bonus! House is located close to the beach with easy access! Will definitely stay again!!

Mai Tide stay

Excellent home and great location, kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. Had a power outage last night, but thankfully all windows had screens so we we were able to open the windows and the breeze was great, overall was a great family trip.

Near the Beach

Walking to the beach was pretty far with lots of steps for us older folks but we did it a couple times. Drivable beach access was only a couple blocks away. Beds were comfortable. Lots of broken items and things in need of repair. We had a great time and enjoyed out stay.

We enjoyed meeting this guest and she and her extended family stayed for a week. We are a little confused by some of her comments. We met her at the property, walked her around the house, and answered several questions she had. We asked her to let us know if anything needed attention during her stay. We saw her again a couple of days into her stay when we pulled up the trash cans and again asked if she needed anything. At no time did she mention any "broken" items. If she had, we would have addressed them immediately. Unfortunately, we can't help if we don't know there is an issue. We invite guests to look at our many other reviews for this and other properties if they have questions about the condition of our properties or our responsiveness.

The house was in a great location and plenty of space for our group. A couple of downsides was the house was stocked with toilet paper hardly, the rolls in the upstairs bathrooms weren’t full and the down stairs only had a partial roll and one extra. I would recommend also upgrading some of the furniture in living, the couch was very stained and most of the rugs as well. The downstairs shower didn’t have any hot water the whole weekend unfortunately but the outdoor shower and upstairs did. Just think it needs a little TLC and it’ll be a great place to stay again for sure!

Just Perfect

This place has everything we needed to make our stay one that our family will never forget. We brought our two adult children, their spouses, and our teenage son for our first trip to Texas. Everyone had their own space and no one was very comfortable. We got to watch the sun rise over the Gulf from the boardwalk which was a block away(breathtaking). Beach access was around the corner which made treks to the beach easy. We were five minutes away from everything on the island but still secluded enough for peace and quite. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to make a meal and also towels for bathing and for beach( which was a pleasant surprise). Game room was a hit with my teenage son but unfortunately we were so busy hopping around the islandbhe did not get as much time therevasbhe wanted.This was supposed to be a once in lifetime trip but we fell in love and are already planning a return and I do not want to stay anywhere else.

We loved our stay at Mai Tide. The house was great and we loved the downstairs game room. It's a short walk to the private beach access boardwalk, however there was a code-locked gate to get onto the board walk, and we didn't know the code. Thankfully a kind neighbor told us, but if you're staying here make sure to check in with the host to get the code for the boardwalk!

The only issue we had was that the master bedroom has nowhere to hang clothes. The closet is owners storage/locked. It would be very awkward to be walking around the house to another closet in my towel to a friends room to get clothes from closet…. We went to Dollar General and bought an over the door hook that you could hang clothes on. So just know that if you were someone who has hanging clothes that you need to bring something to hang them on as there is no way to hang them in that room. The laundry room is right next to it and technically you could hang the laundry room but then again you have to walk outside of your bedroom to get your clothes. Other than that, everything is great! I can’t vouch for if there was a lot of equipment in the kitchen or anything because this was a couples getaway weekend and we went out to eat the whole time.
