Elegant och rymlig King Hale, ligger vid stranden i en frodig tropisk djungel, ligger i det lugna samhället Haena, bara 4 miles norr om Hanalei. Här kommer du att upptäcka vackra sträckor av vita sandstränder och de mest fantastiska solnedgångarna.

Detta 4BD / 4BA hem är byggt runt en förhöjd öppen planlösning som är idealisk för familjesamlingar eller nådig underhållande. Det fullt utrustade gourmetköket med toppmoderna apparater och bänkskivor i granit är perfekt för intima måltider eller stora middagsfester. I kanten av köket har ett runt matbord med plats för 8 utsikt över det blå Stilla havet. Överdrivna skjutdörrar till Lanai möjliggör sömlös inomhus / utomhus boende och fånga de svaga tradewindsna som blåser in från havet. Vardagsrummet har två stora separata sittplatser, en väggmonterad platt-TV, en öppen spis och golv till tak fönster som belyser den tropiska trädgården och stranden bortom. Elektroniska bekvämligheter inkluderar dvd- / cd-spelare, satellit-tv, trådlöst höghastighetsinternet och dockningsstation för iPod.

Det finns 3 sovrum på översta våningen i hemmet. Två av rummen är master-sviter med King-sängar, platt-tv och havsutsikt. Båda har eget badrum som har stora duschkabiner och badkar. Det tredje rummet har en drottningssäng och havsutsikt. Alla rum har stora fönster och franska dörrar som leder till havsutsikt lanais. Bottenvåningen gästsviten har egen separat ingång, King sovrum, badrum och vardagsrum med bäddsoffa (det finns ingen A / C i nedre sovrummet). Gymutrustning finns också i huset, inklusive en spinncykel, bänk, fria vikter och yogautrustning.

Haena stränder erbjuder surfing, skalas, sola och (när vädret tillåter) snorkling i världsklass. Hemmet ligger en kort bit till ingången till den ökända Kalalau spåret som går längs den stora Napali-kusten. En snabb bilresa till Hanalei stad kommer att ta dig till en mängd restauranger och charmiga butiker. Här hittar du också Hanalei Bay, en två mil lång sandstranden, som är idealisk för surfing, stå upp paddla boarding, kajakpaddling, fiske och bra gammaldags simning. Princeville ligger bara upp och erbjuder aktiviteter som golf, ziplining och ridning.

Perfect serene location

Our family of five stayed for Spring Break at King Hale. It was exceptional. It is the perfect serene location where we barely saw anyone else but had constant ocean views. There were flowers everywhere. We could hear the waves while we were sleeping. The kitchen was one of the best equipped of any VRBO we have used. There were also many supplies left (sunscreen, salt, pepper, olive oil, etc) from other vacationers that made our stay easier. We didn't use the lower floor bedroom because it was a separate entrance but we did use the gym, which was a nice addition. We would definitely stay here again!

Great gathering

3 generations plus one wedding engagement had a memorable time. It was great being right in front of the ocean. House had great accommodations for six ( main house) Ok accommodation for 3 (lower level) and couch bed for #10 which is fine for a younger person. View and large living/ dining was worth it.

Perfect Location For a Great Vacation

The house was on the beach and had a deck perfect for enjoying our morning coffee all the way through star gazing at night. We could walk down the beach to Tunnels or take a quick drive into Hanalei Bay. The property met all of our needs and the property manager was super helpful and responsive. My only suggestion would be to update the ground floor space. We did not use this area aside from the gym, but a larger family may have been disappointed with the quality of the ground floor space as compared to how cool the main living area is. Five stars - totally recommend this place!!

Family Vacation

This property exceeded our expectations! Very well appointed, layout was perfect for our family that included couples, singles and an 11 month old. LOVED the seclusion of being on the North Shore of Kauai. Highly recommend this home.

A tropical gem!

The house was exactly as you see it in the pictures. Plenty of space and a great kitchen! The beach out front is rocky, but just a short walk to the left or right and you will find sandy beaches. Nice quite neighborhood and Lu (property manager) was awesome!

Absolutely stunning property

This house exceeded our expectations, and we had pretty high expectations! The only complaint is the bottom floor does have a mildew-type smell, but my brother who slept down there said it wasn’t too much of a bother for him. Truly everything else about this property was absolute perfection, we cannot wait to come back!

Magical Stay in Kauai

All around amazing! Definitely the first of many stays.

Great house. Perfect for 8-10 people. Location was amazing. I don't think I'd want to stay anywhere else on the island now. Walk out the back to great beaches, or drive a few minutes to tunnels or Ke'e Beach. Which honestly weren't much better than the beaches within a 5 minutes walk of the house. 10 minute drive to Hanalei for whatever you need. The only only gripe I have about the entire place is the main dining table is a bit wobbly. Not a big deal, just makes for an interesting time around the dinner table. Property manager was great and very helpful.

A Slice of Heaven

The property is absolutely gorgeous. We were a family ranging in ages from 1-85. Between the upstairs spaces and the downstairs apartment everyone had a place of their own. The power did go out once but Kevin responded quickly. We learned that part of the house runs on solar so the refrigerator and oven came back on pretty quickly. We had a local chef, Thomas Ryan, cooking for us that evening. He just went with the flow... It was one of the best meals I have ever had in an amazing location.

Beautiful views

My family of 4 spent the week in this beautiful home and loved it! It is well equipped, clean and is in an amazing location. We were able to see the sunrise and sunset almost every day. We did have trouble working the main TV. Sometimes it worked and other times it didn’t, and not sure why. We did contact Ian, and he was willing to send someone out the next day, but magically the TV worked on its own so it wasn’t needed. We did enjoy walking to Tunnels Beach for snorkeling, walking for coffee or dinner and star gazing at night. Such a great place for star gazing! Would definitely recommend staying here if you want some peace and quiet for relaxing.

Perfect House, perfect location for whole family

The beach right in front of us is a shallow reef, and we saw monk seal resting and turtle feeding right up the shore.The house is large enough for our family (8 adults and 2 kids). Loved the spacious Kitchen and living room. Would've liked to have a larger dining table, and the BBQ was a bit old and small for the house. They are doing renovation and couldn't accommodate some of the promised amenities, but Kevin was great at keeping us happy. We are sure to come back soon.

AMAZING!

From the moment we walked in, we knew we made the right decision to stay at King Hale….the views from the home onto the beach were breathtaking! We came to celebrate our Anniversary, wanting someplace special, and we found it here. The location was perfect for long beach walks…Tunnels and Haena close by. Hanalei a short drive away for fun kayaking on the river. We invited two other couples to join us and there was plenty of room for all of us. They were pleasantly surprised at their accommodations for their stay with us. The kitchen is perfectly set up with everything you could need. The home is well stocked with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay….beach towels, sand toys, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, etc. Our host Ian, was quick to respond to our questions…..we were thankful that the home has solar! Our only concern was the next door neighbor who would fly his drone directly in front of the property. We noticed it on several occasions. We have stayed at other locations on Kauai, but by far, King Hale surpasses them all. We would stay here for our next getaway to Kauai! Mahalo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home with incredible views from all sides of the house. We had our own beach right at our back door. The layout of the house is perfect. The home came with all the appliances you would possibly need. My only complaint is that one room has a pullout bed and I think it should be a full size bed. Some of the blinds were broken. However, it is understandable that replacement parts may take time. There was also a power outage for 20 hours, which we heard was a common occurrence. I think a large, beautiful house like this should have a backup generator. Some of the outdoor furniture also should be replaced. With all this being said, we enjoyed the house and would stay there again.

Hale to King Hale !

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: King Hale is undeniably a spectacular beach front property that we look forward to returning to. Kudos to the owners for all aspects of the compound design from private electronic gate, the floor plan, interior design finishes to art work. Everything about the house was everything we were looking for as a couple reuniting after a one year separation ... 500 feet from secluded beach front beauty, peace and romance all wrapped in maximum luxury. Although it was just the two of us, a family of 6+ or three couples would have still been perfect with the three bedroom, three bath environment. All aspects of the house were perfect ... from the linens, window shades, ceiling fans, patio furniture, kitchen amenities, wifi, cable tv, land line and washer dryer. Special compliments to the perfect maintenance condition of the house. For our first trip to Hawaii, we could not have selected a more perfect rental and island. The one and only improvement we would recommend is with the reservation communication by Hawaiian Life. It was way too on-line based without enough or adequate effort for personalized phone communication. Some one on one phone communication without feeling like agents' day is being interrupted would offer a 5 star vs a 3 star for customer service. Not getting the address of where we are going until after we land in Hawaii is not comfortable for people who like to know their luxury vacation plans are rock solid. Having to call for that information from the airport and being told that the information was emailed to us was way too inconvenient and impersonal for a rental of that caliber and nightly price tag. Not an issue unprofessional, an issue of automated process like it's nothing more than a 3 star chain hotel which King Hale is so above that. Other than that, our one week stay was none other than PERFECT.

Kauai Caper 2025

First, the house is spectacular. Views are amazing. Huge kitchen. Plenty of room for 4 adults to lounge about and not feel crowded. Quiet neighborhood. We saw 2 monk seals within walking distance while here! All other reviews mentioned the blinds. They still don’t work. The grill is WAY past its prime, and we didn’t think it was usable. The driveway gate looks like it hasn’t been closed in years, and the electric boxes at the gate were rotted out, so don’t count on that as extra security. All that being said, we’d stay here again in a heartbeat!! So beautiful!!

Love that one can open the gigantic sliding doors and let the ocean air flow through. The main bedroom is out of a movie with views on 3 sides,the ocean on two sides and the ridge line of the Napali coast in the other. We cook all our meals and the kitchen has everything you need, albeit the BBQ could use an update.Also to note, which I didn’t realize til the last day there..the back bathroom has a steam shower👍First or hundredth time it’s one of the best homes available in the North end of Kauai.

It was large enough that all of our party had privacy, and a separate bathroom. There was ample common space to spread out and enjoy the stunning views. The house is very well maintained and provided with everything you would need . The kitchen is Enormous and stocked with good quality pots, dishes etc. Beach chairs, cooler, umbrellla and snorkeling gear iare also provided, This place was absolute paradise.

Excellent stay for a large family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 8 adults and 1 child had a phenomenal time at the King Hale rental property. If you're looking for a remote location, this is it. The view was incredible in both the front and back of the property and the "end of the road" nature of being so far up the north shore really gave this a secluded charm. I'd recommend it even more than being "in town" like Hanalei as long as you adequately stock up on food and drink for your stay. For that, there's a Costco and Target in Lihue that you can stop at with your rental car before the hour-long drive to Wainiha. The house was clean, the property management was courteous, and the check-in and check-out was a breeze. The one small issue, that I'm sure the managers will correct shortly, was that one of the guest bedrooms was missing two sets of blinds and lacked privacy as the lanai went right outside of the bedroom. We remedied this by hanging up blankets. As far as the beach, there are great options just a 2 minute walk up the shore in either direction. Right in front of the property is a tide-pool and pretty snorkeling reef where we saw various sea life like parrotfish, sea cucumbers, rays, and even an eel. I don't often write reviews, but we left this place KNOWING that we booked the right house.
