I ended up not staying at the property due to my personal issue. The host worked with me and was good to communicate with. In area for family wedding. If a small town feeling is what you want, this property might be what you want. The house is very pretty from the outside. I never went inside, again due to my personal reasons, but the host’s prior reviews would indicate it is as she has depicted the property.

Probably the 10-15th time staying here with a group of friends. Deb is a great host and definitely will be back here again and again. Great place on the Great River Road!

Very comfy and great location!!!

It had everything you need and then some to be comfortable. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Allowed early check in which really helped out! Will be back for sure!

Just the right amount of character. Home is well maintained & clean. Generous bedroom space, comfortable beds. Living, dining rooms & kitchen space also ample. A nice place to come back to at the end of each day out on the water for our party of four. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for lodging in this part of the Mississippi River valley.

Special meeting place.

It was perfect place for my adopted daughter to meet her birth father and brother. It gave us plenty of room, a place to play board games and neutral grounds to get to know everyone. It was so special for my daughter and I'm sure a memory she will always have.

Great Location & Views

The owner was great with 1st rate communication. The location was perfect for a mid-winter getaway. The living room & dining room are the homes best features & the living room is spacious & comfortable. The downside, the sheets in the downstairs bedroom need to be replaced as they are quite threadbare (easy fix!) & the bathroom sink is loose in the vanity.

Winter stay

Property was nice, right on the Mississippi River. They've upgraded the TV's from what is pictured. Deb communicated very well with us, and is very kind and friendly. If we didn't own a camper, we would come back in the summer, but we may come back again next January

Our stay at this property was wonderful! Deb communicate very well before we arrived and made sure we were good to go. The house was very well equipped with everything that we needed and was very clean. We cooked several meals here and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots and pans and all other dishes and utensils. The photos that are posted on VRBO are very accurate and I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in this area. It is close to the river and a lot of different towns with easy access to all of them.

A Refreshing Delight.

This Cape Cod nestled in the heart of a small town was a perfect spot to recoup from the hustle and bustle of my busy lifestyle. The accommodations were spacious and more then adequate which added to the restful feeling I experienced while staying there. If you need to recoup from the daily grind and want to experience a bit of solitude this is the place for you. The scenery in the surrounding areas just add to the experience. If you like to fish or hike your came to the right place. Thanks Deb for such an enjoyable restful experience. Continued success!

Family of Six

Our family of 6 enjoyed five nights in Ferryville. We fished, swam, and went sight-seeing around the area. We ventured to La Crosse, Lansing, and Prairie Du Chein as well as other areas. The house was very comfortable and well kept. With 4 teenagers the space was wonderful. Everything promised in the description was delivered. We enjoyed grilling and sitting by the fire off the patio. The firewood on site was a great benefit as well as the washer/dryer unit. Fresh flowers on the table greeted us. A much needed get-away to end the summer. We will definitely recommend!!

New Years Get a Way

Due to COVID we wanted to get someplace by ourselves. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do over the weekend. Overall the place is described correctly. Plenty of room and it is hard to find locations which allow pets, Deb allows them which helps in making a decision where we go. The home is an older home but well maintained. We only used the lower part of the home which was all we needed. Kitchen had everything you needed, The bathroom is dated and served it's purpose. The lower bedroom had a queen bed, now everyone sleeps on what they like, for use the bed was a little too soft and seemed we sunk in over the night in the mattress. Wife was little sore waking up in the morning and did sleep a night in the living room on the couch, me, well can sleep about anywhere. Over all a very nice place, would love to come in the summer time. Being winter the home was warm except the floor did seem a little cool. If you like trains, this is the place they run all the time and we didn't mind the whistle as they past by.
