Denna unika hyra, som ligger på den norra spetsen av Leroy Island, är en av de vackraste platserna på Sodus Bay. Oavsett om du gillar att fiska, vattenskidåkning eller bara sitta i skuggan och läsa en bok, har den här lägenheten allt du behöver för att komma undan. Till fastigheten hör två sovrum utrymmen. Den luftkonditionerade övervåningen kostym innehåller ett privat badrum, och sover två i en queen size-säng. En queen-size futon kan också vika ner för att rymma ytterligare två. Nedervåningen, rymmer en andra sovrummet två mer i en California king size-säng med ett badrum. Nere vid vattnet, andra våningen i båthuset ger en tredje sovutrymme med ytterligare tre bäddar (två tvillingar och en full), och ger en mysig, kul, one-of-a-kind Bayside upplevelse.
Apartment & båthus bekvämt sova 10 med extra utrymme för sovsäckar eller luftmadrasser. En fullstor utvikbara soffan i vardagsrummet ger en fjärde sovutrymme.
Det finns ett tvättstuga med tvättmaskin och torktumlare, ett tredje badrum i första vardagsrummet, skafferi, flera garderober och ett fullt utrustat kök. Första och tredje våningen är anslutna via trappor. Det finns wifi, och en platt-TV. Det finns också dockning utrymme för en båt och en 19 "aluminium kanot tillgängliga för dig. Andra våningen är separat och ingår inte i veckouthyrning. Första våningen i båthuset ingår inte (ägare lagring).

Family memories

Our family had a great time. We weren’t aware when booking that there are tenants that live on the 2nd floor of the house. It wasn’t an issue and we hardly ever saw them, but you do not have the house to yourself. The property is great and once John finishes his project near the new break wall it will be amazing! Our boys loved jumping off the boathouse and all the fishing they could do. The kitchen is stocked with some essentials which is great! Plus the washer and dryer were helpful as well. Thanks for sharing this piece of heaven!

Excellent location!!

We had 12 people and it was perfect! The sunsets were picture perfect. There are many stairs down to the water and more for those staying upstairs. It helped to balance off all the food we ate!! The owner John was great to deal with. Gets back to you promptly. The house had condiments, spices, baking goods, shampoo etc. A larger toaster or toaster oven would have been nice, especially for a group our size. The highlight for the kids was jumping off the landing into the water at the boathouse. The movie projector screen was a huge hit when they were allowed electronics (our rule no electronics from 8a-8p). The dads and older boys chartered a fishing boat and came back with 70lbs of salmon!! They rent out the second floor to tenants, but we hardly ever saw them. Never heard them either. Tried offering them and all neighbors some salmon. This place will not disappoint you. We traveled to Niagara falls after our 5 day stay. We will be recommending this place to our family and friends. Thank you again John!! You helped make this an enjoyable vacation!!

Great vacation home.

Great property with fully equipped house and boathouse. We found the owners to be very positive and responsive. The only problem we had was that we didn’t have a MacBook Air with which to run the projection TV.

Mom of boys vacation!

Beautiful scenery 24/7, comfortable beds and couch, nice kitchen (owner waiting on new oven), boat house was a delight, kids jumped off into water had a blast! Owner very easy to get a hold of when I had to tell him his ladder broke and we lost two rudders on paddle boards ( we reimbursed him so he ordered a rush replacement. ) 3rd floor bedroom very quiet and away from the crazy goings on of my college/high school kids…Mom wound up sleeping soundly up there! All in all we loved it and would return again!

Serene spot

The owner, John, was very gracious when we met and made me comfortable and welcome immediately. The house is terrific and remained cool and comfortable even on the warmest and muggiest of days. Beautifully and fully stocked kitchen was great to work in, plenty of towels and linens throughout the house. John said they would be doing work on the boathouse and I’m sure those improvements will only add to that structure. Will visit again for sure.

Perfect Weekend

I knew my daughter would be getting engaged on LeRoy Island. I wanted to be there as well, but not enough room at our family cottage. I reached out to John through VRBO and he could not have been more accommodating or helpful....at VERY short notice. The cottage was perfect and you cannot beat the views!! Also, the beds are extremely comfy!! I highly recommend!! Thanks John!!

Beautiful home!

This was a perfect location for our faculty retreat. The home is beautiful, spacious and gave us plenty of room to work and collaborate. (the projector was great!) . The group was unanimous that they would like to make a retreat at this location an annual event.

This was our most comfortable rental ever! Owner very accommodating!

This property is very homey and comfortable. The owner was very accommodating. The area offers good restaurants and very fresh fruits/veggies. If you want a location that offers a beautiful setting, this is a great choice!

John Friends är värd

My parents first meet on Sodus Bay in the 1940’s. They married in 1952 while college students at SUNY Oswego and in 1957 purchased the lot on the north tip of Leroy Island. They built a simple two-bedroom cabin and in the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s my two brothers and I spent our formative summers on the bay. There was no bathtub or shower, hot water, telephone or TV until the 80’s.
In 1992 my parents removed the cabin and built the current multi-family home. My parents are no longer alive and my brothers live in the mid west and west coast, so my wife Mary Ellen and I took ownership of the property in 2016. It is our pleasure to share the Friends family home on Sodus Bay with you.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The view of the water is awesome. You have the calm bay in front of you and you can see over the sandbar (Crescent Beach) to view the lake. Morning and late afternoon light in the summer is unbelievably gorgeous.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The boathouse is second to none. This is structure is grandfathered by zoning laws that went into effect in the early 1980's. This style boathouse can no longer be built and there are very few of them on the bay. It's a bit rustic but kids just love the boathouse and adults will find themselves sleeping soundly with the water lapping underneath. In 2019 the waterfront was rebuilt with steel walls and the boathouse was mounted onto steel, replacing the old RR cribbing structures of the past.
