We had a great visit to Ridgedale! Check in was easy following the instructions we received. The place was perfect for our family of 5 with lots to do. We enjoyed breakfast at Trumans cafe every morning but the dollar general has lots of food for breakfast if you choose to eat in the room. We rented a boat from Bent hook marina and used the shuttle to go to the top of the rock golf cart nature trail. We will be back!!

Pictures are not the actual unit. She refunded our stay due to the inaccuracies. Buyer beware - last I checked the listing still showed the property as a standalone cabin with deck, grill, etc. That is not what you get, and the property informed me she wasn’t supposed to rent these units commercially in the first place, which kept us from making any changes. Overall, a debacle. We’d agreed not to leave reviews - but she decided to go against that as well.

Renters bewawrd of this guy. He has been on VRBO for years and I left his first review. Why? Because he bully's and gaslights his way into trying to make up lies and getting refunds and threats that if we leave a review he will retaliate. I need other hosts to know, and will deal with the fake/false review...you are welcome future hosts. The listing is everything is shows and describes. Doesn't show or say it is a cabin. He took one picture of the grounds, and some cabin in the background, as his excuse that he thought he was booking a cabin...even tho all picture show the Wilderness Lodge, and the description says over and over it is in the Wilderness Lodge. This guy just doesn't read ads (or maybe he can't) or look at pictures and then blames the host. I refunded him because I don't want one penny of his bad energy money even tho we did everything right. We went above and beyond for this guy but again, this is what he does...makes up stories and lies to get refunds and then makes threats about reviews. Don't rent to this guy...bad energy all around.
