Heart of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail

Med sitt läge i Hector, NY, på östra sidan av Seneca Lake. Detta vackert renoverade hus stuga gränsar till vingårdar som ägs av Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards. Under de varmare månaderna, njuta av ett glas vin som sitter på den stora akterdäck medan omgiven av cabernet sauvignon och cabernet franc vinrankor. Eller sitta på wrap-around veranda och njuta av den svala skuggan och underbar bris. För vintern hyror, är huset fullt isolerad och värms med en elektrisk spis för en mysig vinter vistelse.

Inuti hittar du trägolv i hela matsal och vardagsrum, ett nyrenoverat kök med gasspis, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin och kylskåp med in-the-dörr is och vatten. Några steg ner från köket är en mysig solrummet - perfekt för morgonkaffe! Den stora badrum inkluderar en tvättmaskin och torktumlare för våra gäster bekvämlighet. Den andra våningen har två sovrum med en otrolig utsikt över vingårdarna och Seneca Lake från sovrummet.

"Hector Vineyard Cottage" sover fyra till sex personer - två i varje sovrum och två på vardagsrummet futon (med en queen-size madrass). Sovrummen har två enkelsängar som kan sättas upp som separata tvillingar eller sätta ihop som en king size-säng med en bekväm king size-bäddmadrass - låt oss bara veta vad du föredrar!

Andra bekvämligheter: Rengör sängkläder (lakan, örngott, filtar, bäddmadrasser) tillhandahålls. Offentliga vatten. Kolgrill (glöm inte din kol), diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, kaffebryggare, brödrost, strykbräda och järn. Grundläggande pappersprodukter levereras. Grundläggande satellit-tv-tjänst, utmärkt celltäckningsområde.

Hector Wine Company ligger tvärs över Route 414 - perfekt för att gå över för att njuta av livemusik på helgen och ett glas vin på deras uteplats.

Några av Seneca Lake: s mest kända vingårdar och restauranger ligger alla inom mindre än fem miles från stugan inklusive Wagner Vineyards & den Ginny Lee Cafe, Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards, Leidenfrost Vineyards, Stonecat Cafe, Red Newt vinkällare & Bistro, Damiani vinkällare, Atwater Vineyards, Two Goats Brewing, och Finger Lakes Distilling. Njut av vinprovning, levande musik och andra "off-hour" evenemang i vingårdar och restauranger.

Även om vi inte har tillgång till sjön, är Smith Memorial Park bara en mil bort med en offentlig sjösättning, badstrand, picknick anläggningar och en liten lekplats. Lodi Point är ca 10 minuter norr, Clute Memorial Park är 10 minuter söder, och Watkins Glen State Park ligger bara 15-20 minuter bort.

Finger Lakes get a away

Very charming home with a great location near the lakes and wineries. There was plenty to do for all ages and the home was perfect. Very well equipped with everything we needed for a great stay. We would definitely recommend.

Perfect location

This was the perfect location for our stay at Seneca Lake. Everything was in driving distance and it was quiet and right off the main road. This little cottage was great for a birthday celebration with friends! Jen the property owner was easy to work with and kept us well informed for our stay!

Perfect accommodations!!!

Perfect accommodations for our long weekend cute little house with a beautiful view of the mountains. Our host really had the house equipped with everything right down to the Last Detail. Also supplied us with a complimentary bottle of wine. everything was a short drive to wineries breweries and Watkins Glen State Park. I would definitely rent this property again.

Great place

Great property to stay at to do wine tastings. Its older and has some steep stairs to get to the bedrooms buy has a nice back deck and is right across from a winery. It also worked out great having two children under 1, if we needed to shoot home this property was within 10 minutes of every winery we went to. Would recommend booking

Cute house in a vineyard

Group of 4 - we had a WONDERFUL stay. Property exactly as advertised. EXCELLENT location - especially for wineries on the west side of Seneca Lake - you can even walk to a few of them. Great porch and back deck. House has everything you need and is very comfortable and clean. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Hector Stay!

We had another great stay in this little gem. It's such a central location, which makes it quick and easy to get to all of our favorite wineries and food spots. We recommend Scale House, Grist Iron, and Stonecat for great food that's nearby! We were also lucky enough to stay on the weekend, when Hector Wine Company has food trucks, and my friends loved the sushi they got there. The kitchen at the house is well-equipped and has everything you might need. Our group loved sitting on the back deck in the evenings.

Low key, fun time!

My college friends and I just wanted a nice weekend get-away and this was perfect! We are in our mid-60's, but we hiked around the Gorge each morning, visited wineries in the afternoons, and grilled out dinner in the evening. The house was clean and well appointed. We had a great time!

Great to relax

House was a great place to relax. Good location to visit winiers and other sites near Watkins Glen. Nice house and had the weather allowed it would have been fun to sit on the porch and relax in the evenings.

We love it here

Great place for a girls trip

Stayed here for a girls trip. Everything was wonderful. There are beautiful vineyard views. The location was perfect. It was close to so many wineries and breweries. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Booking and checking in was very easy.
