Great Stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Bruce's property. He was friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Easy access to the Monan Trail and walking distance to many restaurants. Highly recommend.

Comfortable Apartment with a Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at this cute basement apartment. All of the furniture and appliances were like new and everything was very clean. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us. Easy walking distance to Broad Ripple Ave and the Monon Trail. We will stay again.

Host Bruce was fantastic and super helpful during the entire stay. Beds are comfortable and plenty of room to move around the unit. Loved the art work outside which was perfect for photos. Will definitely come back.

Exactly what we needed!

We stayed at this property while visiting a local university for parents weekend, and it is just what we needed. Exactly as written in the listing, very clean, wonderful neighborhood and easy parking (which can be a challenge in Indy!) Great location that is walkable to wonderful Broad Ripple. Bruce was very accommodating letting us an an extra day last minute as well. Thank you for opening your home to us!!!

An awesome host in a great neighborhood

Bruce was so welcoming and the rooms were great. We enjoyed the local restaurants and public transport into downtown is only a couple blocks away. I'd definitely book again next time in the area!

A Gem

A great location with so much in walking distance. The apartment was spotless and had comfortable furniture and beds. Our host was easy to contact. A deal for the property quality and location. I would stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay in a great neighborhood.

The house and yard are beautiful. We were walkable blocks from Broad Ripple's shopping, restaurants and coffee houses. Overall, the best VRBO experience I have ever had.

Nice neighborhood and property

Three of us stayed for Memorial weekend. The property is located in a very nice neighborhood that is close (walking distance) to restaurants and bars. Nice clean place with everything you need for your stay.

Great Space and Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent - walking distance to a ton of great restaurants. The space was clean and had everything we needed. Only caveat is the listing said it was a two bedroom apartment, but the second "bedroom" is just a bed in the living room, which should absolutely be called out in the listing. Didn't bother us too much, but would've been nice to know. Loved the landscaping around the house and the numerous bumblebees.

Great weekend!

My sister and I were in town to see a show for for the weekend and this place was perfect - walking distance to great restaurants and cute neighborhood, easy driving to other places we were headed. Property owner Bruce was responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back!

Great for a weekend stay

This property was so cute inside and out. The art on the garage and the outside flower area were gorgeous. Inside felt very homey and was very clean. Bathroom had a care package with extra toiletries we might've forgotten. Communication with host was quick and easy. Would absolutely stay here again when traveling to Indy. Thank you!

Great indy rental near, spotless clean, comfort and charm

Very highly recommended, first choice when we are in area. Comfortable beds, spacious, soothing decorated basement apartment, separate entrance, charming outside picnic table. Bruce is excellent with communication . 2 burner stove good for light cooking.

Great Broad Ripple getaway.

Great location! We stayed in the main house, rather than in the basement apartment. It was extremely clean and free of clutter, which I love in a guest house. We fixed a few meals in the kitchen, and it had most everything we needed. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Great little breakfast/coffee places nearby. If we visit Indy again, I think this will be our go-to.

Cute area! Restaurants within walking distance!

Two queen beds. Basement unit of home with separate entrance. Refrigerator, nice TVs. Owner is nice and helped us with a restaurant choice. Clean. Coffee pot. Broad Ripple neighborhood.

Wonderful host and great location!

The host/owner was great. I was traveling with my elderly parents and he was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. The setup of the downstairs apartment was open and flowed well for ease of movement. All necessities were provided and the host informed us that if we had any need to please let him know. We did request one item from our host and he went above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommnd staying at this location.

Perfect location to explore Indianapolis

This basement apartment is perfectly situated for a visit to Indy and the surrounding area. Bruce is an excellent host, and the apartment itself is set up nicely for staying in if the weather is not great. I personally prefer exploring, and the Broad Ripple neighborhood is great for wandering. The Monon Trail is just a few blocks away, with nice places to walk both north and south of the apartment. I also discovered that pretty much anything I wanted was about 15 minutes drive (Fountain Square, golfing in Carmel, Central Canal and downtown), so I really couldn't have been happier with the location. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a central location for artsy or athletic fun with the welcome and spaciousness of home (instead of an impersonal or cramped hotel).

Awesome place to stay!!

I booked this weekend for a father/son trip for ourselves. Bruce was very accommodating and helpful leading up to, through and after the process(I left a couple of things and he shipped them to me!). Although it rained a lot during our stay, we were able to walk around the surrounding neighborhood of Broad Ripple which was very nice. A lot of choices to eat and visit. Kroger was just a 10 minute walk away for groceries. The house itself was perfect for us. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to cook. It was a relaxing place for us to stay. We spent evenings and morning out on the porch in the rockers chatting and watching folks go by. If you are needing to go into Indianapolis itself, you are only about a 10-15 minute drive into town. If you are town this would be a great place to stay.

Fantastic house, fantastic host, fantastic area!

Bruce was great, very friendly and accommodating. A lot of amenities you might not expect as this was previously a home business. There are actually parking spaces in the back so there is no concern over room to park like many home rentals. Parking is also gated and fenced so no concerns over security. Space is segregated so it is very private. The area is chock full of great restaraunts and bars within easy walking distance. Our stay was Wednesday through Sunday and we ate someplace different every night. If Bruce suggests Biscuits for breakfast I highly recommend you listen (if he doesn't suggest it I will!). Only minor thing to be aware of is that the kitchen is not a full kitchen. It is perfectly serviceable with a portable electric cooktop, microwave, minifridge, toaster oven, etc... But if you're looking to bake some cookies or roast a turkey you aren't going to be able to. I'd highly recommend this property and will be looking to book again for my yearly trip to Indianapolis.
