Surrounded by nature this beautiful villa with its own pool is located in short 15 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica , Playa Avellanas.Casa Oasis features four large air-conditioned bedrooms each with its own bath , Fully equipped open concept kitchen, living room with flatscreen TV , DVD and Wifi. There is a 5th bathroom on the main floor in the breezeway.
Playa Avellanas is a surfers dream with uncrowded waves all year long. There are 5 surf breaks along this beach, with many areas for safe swimming as well. Children will enjoy exploring the many tide pools visible at low tide.
The beach town of Tamarindo with its many stores and restaurants is located within 15 minutes drive. Wake up to the sounds of nature in this totally private one of a kind Villa.

Awesome House with every amenity you need !

We have stayed in several houses in Avellanas and have enjoyed them all but this house takes the top with the pool ,well equipped kitchen (everything you need to cook all meals ,) great layout ( basically 4 separate suite like rooms ) and very comfortable common room amazing outdoor living space ! The house is better than the pictures and safe with a locked road gate as well as alarm system. Would recommend for any group ... absolutely loved itđŸ˜€đŸ€˜đŸ‡šđŸ‡·

Private and comfortable property

Ben and Pam were extremely responsive and helpful prior to check in and whenever we needed anything. Check in and check out were as easy as it gets. Midday float in the pool was fantastic. Everyone had their own suite with strong A/C and comfortable beds. There were plenty of good towels in the bathrooms and at the pool. Restaurants are close and the beach is a short drive or 15 min walk using the provided passes to access the bridge at Cabinas Los Olas. The property worked great for our group of 4 friends visiting for a surf trip. The hosts are excellent.

Casa Oasis

We had a great stay at Casa Oasis. Pam was great and very helpful. She answered any questions we had. Miguel was also really helpful and made check in and check out very smooth. He was also available when we had questions or needed something. The house is in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants. Avellanas is a great spot, quiet but still close to everything. Great pool, nice bedrooms, bbq. We loved seeing the monkeys in the trees around the property. At one point we counted 25 in one of the trees. Overall, really enjoyed our stay at Casa Oasis!

Fabulous!!

What a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. It's just far enough off the beaten path that you are not inundated with the tourist crowd, but close enough to the beaches and grocery stores. Miguel was very helpful with assisting us setting up the different excursions and making sure we had everything we needed. It is a very safe, secure little area and I felt safe letting my children walk the dirt roads in the evening back and forth to the local surf bar. I would definitely stay here again, it was fabulous! Pura Vida!

Great stay in Avellanas!

We had a great stay in the house. Pam and Miguel were super helpful and went above and beyond the normal call of duty to look after us. Pool was great, and the beach was a 10-15 minute walk or 3 min drive. If we return, we would not look elsewhere and would not hesitate in booking again. Thanks Matt

Perfect house for a family

Our weeklong stay at Pam’s House was fabulous. Lots of space for our extended family of 10. The grandchildren (ages 6 to 11) spent lots of time in the pool, at the beach jumping waves, riding waves with boogie boards and surf boards, and building sand castles. They also had adventures horseback riding and attending a rodeo at the next beach down. There was a family of howler monkeys hanging out in the trees behind the pool daily. The kitchen was very well equipped and Pam gave us some great tips on where to buy fresh fish, which we did on the grill. Miguel was very attentive and checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. We loved our stay and highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to experience real Costa Rica. Pura Vida.

Great Vacation!

We enjoyed our stay in Costa Rica, and Casa Oasis helped make for a wonderful vacation. The house is surrounded by nature, has plenty of room, comfortable beds and a cool pool—which allowed for plenty of relaxing. The house is central to many of the amazing beaches of Costa Rica and popular surfing spots. Kaci and Aaron greeted us upon arrival and were very accommodating and helpful. The gate to the driveway is locked at night and unlocked in the morning, which made us feel very safe.

A Tropical Oasis

My favorite place to stay in Avellanas. This beautiful house has everything to make your Costa Rican stay comfortable and enjoyable. Tucked away in a family friendly community, Casa Oasis is just a short walk to Playa Avellanas and mins drive to Playa Negra, Playa Largotilla that is great for surfing, snorkeling, SUP, walking and relaxing. The house is equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Comfortable bedrooms each with a private bathroom, fully stocked kitchen and living area, and in ground swimming pool. Casa Oasis could be considered for people with disabilities as the 2 main floor bedrooms and baths are wheelchair accessible and easy to navigate throughout the main floor of the house. I would recommend this little oasis to everyone looking to stay in Avellanas.

Amazing House!

Our group had an amazing time at Pam's house. Casa oasis was beautiful, stocked with all the necessities, and a great pool with monkeys as our audience. It was a 15 minute walk to the breathtaking beach of playa avellana. It couldn't have been a better place for our group to stay. Highly recommend coming here!

Great, comfortable house with everything needed for a wonderful vacation

Casa Oasis was the perfect place as the home base for our wonderful vacation. There were 10 of us (a large extended family encompassing three generations) and the house worked well, with generous bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a comfortable living room/dining room area which accommodated all ten of us for meals. The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to feed the group with ease, in addition to the gas grill and great covered outdoor space next to the pool with two outdoor tables, a couple of wicker chairs and the ever popular hammock. The pool was a huge plus and we used it every day. As promised, Pam and James had recently updated the property with a new kitchen and bathrooms, plus fresh paint and comfortable beds. The listing accurately reflected the property and amenities. All bedrooms had sliding doors, ceiling fans and AC as well a large closet. Pam and James were incredibly helpful in planing our trip, providing suggestions, answering all of our questions and checking in via email during our stay. The house also had good WiFi, a large TV and a great stock of DVD movies. Miguel, their caretaker, checked in on us personally shortly after our arrival, responded immediately when we had questions via phone (phone on the premises for local calls) and offered to help with setting up things like surf lessons as needed. A gentleman came three times a week to clean the pool and Pam arranged for mid-stay maid service, a really nice touch (we were there for 8 days). The beach was a 10-15 minute walk (longer using only the road, shorter using the board walk through Cabinas las Olas) and is one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen, great for swimming, surfing and just hanging out. There are a couple of good restaurant options close by (walking distance) - including Lola's (on the beach), Cabinas las Olas (lovely covered patio/bar, good food and drinks, friendly staff), an Italian restaurant (Hotel Restaurant Mauna Loa - great pizza, pasta and breakfast) and Beach Box. Villarreal and Tamarindo are a short drive for groceries, a farmer's market, shops and restaurants. Dan at Casa Surf provided a great two hour surf lesson for the kids, bringing in two additional instructors for our group of 4 so everyone got lots of personalized attention. Overall, one of the best vacations ever. We are already plotting our return next year to Casa Oasis!

A retired flight attendant and snowboard instructor who met in Steamboat Springs, CO. After 25 Years of teaching, Recently moved to New England to be near family. We have travelled to Costa Rica many times, and fell in love with Playa Avellanas.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We chose this house because it is 15 minutes walk from the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica., and because of the privacy. We prefer peace and quiet to the craziness of Tamarindo, yet we can drive there in 15 minutes for Dining and Shopping.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We are one of only a very few houses in Avellanas big enough to accommodate a large family or group of friends . In addition, very few houses here have a pool.
