Larsen Log Cabin byggdes 2005 vilar på en vacker trädbevuxen plats i hjärtat av Egg Harbor.

För att känna att du är på semester i Door County, måste du vara i den bästa delen av Door County. Dörrhalvön är där den är och där vi befinner oss. Det roliga, skönheten, vattnet, platsen ser och alla aktiviteter omger dig här på Larsen Log Cabin.
Vi är mindre än en minut från marinan och stranden, släpp din båt eller gå på strand i Village Park. Lämna din bil i kabinen; Det är bara en 5 minuters promenad till byns centrum där du kan besöka Marina, Waterview Park, Village Park Beach, bagerier, livsmedelsbutik, fina och avslappnade restauranger, kaféer, presentbutiker, parker, spa och salonger.

Our group had a great weekend getaway. Everything we could have needed was there, rooms were clean and spacious, and the hot tub was a group favorite at the end of each day. Being a stones throw from the heart of Egg Harbor was perfect, and we would absolutely spend another weekend away here. The host, Paul, was easy to get ahold of, and the communication was seemless.

Great Spot for a Women's Getaway

The cabin is rustic looking yet fully modern, and very roomy, with a bed for each of the five women in our group. Location is fabulous, tucked in the woods yet within blocks of numerous cafes and shops in town.

Beautiful Log Cabin, close to town.

Our group was 2 couples, staying for a long weekend. The Cabin was beautiful, clean and had a great location. We used it as a base to explore Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Ephraim. The spacious living room was a great gathering place in the mornings and evenings where we could plan the days events or recap the days adventure.

Beautiful, spacious retreat!

This is a lovely log house that has the perfect mix of modern amenities and rustic charm. It is very well-maintained and very spacious, yet seems cozy at the same time. We enjoyed being able to walk to everything in downtown Egg Harbor while still having a quiet and peaceful place to stay. The owner/manager was very easy to work with and responded promptly to my questions. Highly recommend!

Rustic Cabin Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this cabin, although quite large cabin for just the two of us. We loved that it was hidden away in the trees, but right in town! We were close to everything in driving distance and walking distance. Enjoyed the hot tub and jacuzzi on our vacation. I love coming to Door County during the Autumn!

Great for a girls weekend!

This house was the perfect place for our girls weekend! It was a walk away from many restaurants and shops. Everyone in my group of 8 fit comfortably. The house was clean when we arrived. Would definitely reccomend this home to big groups looking to enjoy all Egg Harbor has to offer.

Door county Midwinter weekend

So impressed! Very, very clean. We needed a getaway for a romantic weekend and this fit our requirements perfectly. We mostly stayed in the whole weekend just watching DVDs, reading, and using the hot tub. Very comfortable master suite with a jacuzzi tub as well. We will also plan on retuning here again with our extended family as we were surprised how much space there was. Perfect for our children. Thanks again! We will be back

75th Birthday party. Six women friends since kindergarten.

Great location. We all have some physical limitations but with two bedrooms on the first floor, sleeping arrangements were okay. The rules book was a bit harsh to read upon arriving emphasizing how we had to clean before departure. Dust on top of fan blades in upper bedroom need removal. Would recommend location to others after next-door construction is completed.

Cabin in the woods without being remote

The especially large cabin, is just off the main road and up a hill surrounded by trees. It’s quiet, well shaded and we saw a couple of deer feeding one evening. It’s a simple walk into town. The public beach however is a bit of a hike as the area is hilly. We were provided with everything promised by the owners. We were comfortable, plenty of hot water, enjoyable deck. We may have been fortunate as there did not seem be an insect problem while we enjoyed the rear deck. On our accommodations, we wish we could give more than 5 stars. The owners have now set a higher level of expectations that we doubt will be match in our future travels.

Unbeatable location in Egg Harbor

My wife, our two daughters and I stayed in this house for a week. It was right off the main road thorough town but far enough off the street to eliminate any noise or light pollution and nestled a cluster of trees giving it a secluded feel. The best part of the house was the location, which was ideal. We were walking distance (less than a mile) from everything in town and almost never used our car. Even the trips we made outside of town were a couple miles or less. The house itself had all the amenities you would need for a family trip but could use a little updating. Also, despite the heavy cleaning requirements for guests upon departure, the house was not spotless when we arrived. That said, it didn't really impact our stay, and we really enjoyed the trip. Egg harbor is also a wonderful town for families and had enough adult options for my wife and I to consider a couple’s trip at a later date.

Beautiful Cabin, good location, private setting yet close to all the things you go to Door County for. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Host was friendly also!

Lovely winter get-away

Spent a long weekend here with friends. The layout and accommodations worked well. Enjoyed the hot tub out in the snow! The gas fireplace, comfortable furnishings and fully stocked kitchen. Would stay again.

Nice but not worth the price

The place was nice but there’s no walkway to the hotub and it had a bunch of sand in it when we opened it for the first time .The front walk has patio blocks to the main stairs that are rock and you track a lot of dirt into the house. The knife set in the house could be replaced its really outdated had hard time trimming steak. Plus a lot of dirty laundry by the washer in the basement so could be a lot cleaner for sure

Great group getaway

Beautiful and spaceous house with all the amenities we needed. Loved the hot tub, firepit, and outside deck. Spent lots of time outside. Has a secluded woods feel, but everything is in walking distance. Great location!

I grew up in Baileys Harbor known as the quiet side of the Door County Peninsula. Graduated High School 1979 in Fish Creek. I still live in Baileys Harbor on the west side of Kangaroo Lake with my wife and 4 children. I became an electronics technician and own/operate Larsen TV Sales and Service since 1981. My wife has been in the Banking Business and Retail Management for over 20 years.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I was on a TV Service Call at a beautiful log home and told the customer how much I loved his log home and chinking. He brought me out to his barn where there was a complete unassembled 1861 school house stacked in logs on his floor. I bought it and moved it into the Village of Egg Harbor where I already owned a beautiful wooded piece of property.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We sand blasted all the debris off the logs and assembled this historic 1861 log home because I wanted to restore this part of history. The log portion of this home has become the dining room and living room and gives off so much charm and comfort. The rest of this over 2000 square foot home is stick built that we nicely blended in with the cabin.
