We enjoyed our stay very much and communication with the host was easy and prompt. I was able to leave my boat docked for the length of our stay with no issues.

I really liked how quickly Max returned my messages! The outdoor table with umbrella was great for boat/,fish / bird watching. A bit of a walk to the beach in 91 degrees but doable. We enjoyed the 2 king beds and it was wonderful to cook in the kitchen.

Only half a mile from the beachfront and a very safe walk, lovely house and trip. The AC stayed around 80F during the day, but with Fans all on and the dehumidifer temps cooled very well into and overnight.

This home is well kept under the circumstances, but it is clearly an old beach cottage. Bathroom sinks don't drain, porch light inoperable. Street and yard flooded at high tide. (Full moon)Renter beware

We had a great stay at this house. It was perfect to dock our boat and bring our dogs. It was clean and everything was as advertised. Great communication with Max. We also really enjoyed the location. Walkable to restaurants

Wonderful home!

We stayed here for the weekend and the home was just perfect! So close to everything and a short walk to the beach. The home is well stocked with everything you would need for a fun beach vacation! Beautiful decor as well! 5 star!

Beds were comfy and bedrooms are large . There is only 1 TV in entire house( just a heads up as I overlooked that on booking ) Great location for walkability for beach and restaurants. Pet friendly. Great back porch and dock on the waterway

Checking in was so easy. Great communication from the beginning. Property and location was perfect for us and clearly the owners are doing a great job at maintaining and updating the property in the off-season and did a great job accommodating us in the middle of a few last upgrades before the spring and summer months begin. Little cold for our stay to enjoy the outdoor amenities of this property but what a fabulous spot for some outdoor time when the weather changes. All around, very happy with our stay.

Great location and excellent communication with the owner. The property does have room for improvement, the dock is in need of repair and could really use a ladder to allow guest to get out of the water easily. The house could also use some basic things such as some board games or puzzles in the event you get stuck inside due to weather. It could also use a guest book with information on local restaurants and attractions. I grew up with a beach house just across the canal so I'm very familiar with OIB, but other guest may not be. Otherwise, it was a very comfortable stay!

Location was great, communication was great. However being advertised as a newly renovated house would be a stretch. It has been recently painted however the paneling underneath is still bowed, the ceiling fan in the master shakes so hard it is almost unusable and the kitchen is not fully stocked. Overall the house and location are good, just manage your expectations.

My favorite part of our vacation were the beautiful mornings on the porch overlooking the canal! We enjoyed being close to the beach, restaurants and pier. The home was clean and accommodated our family as well as our furry friends
