Beläget i avstånd från staden Toronto (en timme norr om Toronto) på norra stranden av Kempenfelt Bay, den bästa delen av sjön Simcoe, med en liten privat strand och 150 ft strandlinje. Bara några minuters bilresa till Barrie. Nära till alla bekvämligheter och bekvämligheten i staden är det ändå i ett lugnt land. Huset har en King, 2 Quen rum, en enkelsäng rum (2 bäddar), och ett vardagsrum med en bäddsoffa på 2: a våningen. Stor storlek äter i köket med gasspis, rostfritt kylskåp, en formell bra storlek matsal för 8 till 12 personer, sjöutsikt vardagsrum med en dubbel storlek bäddsoffa, och ett stort vardagsrum åtskilda av två sektioner med två uppsättningar soffor. Perfect spot

The place was in excellent condition! Great spot right on the water with lots of room for activities! Luke was a great host and responded quickly to messages. Would definitely recommend this place for larger groups!

A fantastic family stay

We were looking for a nice relaxing retreat in the outdoors for an extended family getaway. This cottage was perfect, lots of calm and quiet as well as an idyllic spot on Lake Simcoe with a well-stocked boat house. Only (slight) complaints were that the mattresses seemed a bit aged and the curtains for one of the bedrooms weren't thick enough to block out much sunlight in the early mornings. Note that the tap water is not drinkable and guests should bring bottled water.

Comfortable and spacious but a bit rundown

Great waterfront for swimming and kayaking. The property itself is terrific! It is comfortable. There is lots of space. It is on a nice, quiet street with nearby green space. I appreciated the host’s flexibility with offering us early check in and late checkout. There were only 3 wine glasses and the coffee maker did not work well. There were cobwebs above the beds and the cottage was clean but not sparkling. The showers have very low pressure and the water temperature switches from cold to extremely hot quite suddenly. It is hard to get a good temperature. We were surprised by the public wharf next door. Some people might be bothered by that. On the other hand, we really enjoyed the swimming and the view! Luke was helpful and communicative as a host, which is appreciated. Pricey, but overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Not clean and unprofessional

I paid a lot of money to stay in what I thought would be a great place over the Christmas and NYE with my family. I spent the first 24 hours cleaning from top to bottom and when I complained to the manager they said they would come back to me after they spoke to the cleaner. This never happened. Very clear that this is treated as a party house instead of a great property that it could be.

Beautiful stay

My family and I rented this cottage for 5 days and had a great stay! This will have been my second stay at this cottage! The host responds quickly and is very helpful. Large cottage, with lots of places to sleep! This waterfront cottage is a great place to stay! We will be back next summer!! Thanks Luke!

Beautiful Private Property Conveniently Located

This cottage is in a wonderful location! It's just 10 minutes from Barrie, but feels very secluded. There's a sandy beach that has limited privacy, but also a rocky beach that's completely private if that's what you're seeking. The grounds are gorgeous! The cottage itself is a fabulous size, has a great layout, is fully equipped with everything you need and feels very homey. If you're looking for a super lux experience, this isn't it, but it was perfect for our family.

Shanty Bay

cottage could use a good cleaning (if not a sprucing up), especially the Jacuzzi (unusable); beach clean up after a storm was a problem. Amenities and overall property met expectations. Host was responsive and accommodating.

Amazing

Luke’s cottage was perfect for our friends weekend away. The house was clean and had everything we needed, With lots of rooms for larger groups! walk down a few steps to the water where we spent most of our time. The water was amazing and having the kayaks available was a bonus. Luke was very fast at returning any questions we had. Would 10/10 recommend this place

large spacious cottage with many quiet spaces around the property as well as inside

driving up to this large property was exciting and inviting. The inside of the cottage was clean with all working appliances and well planned kitchen and A/C. The large dining table and two large out door picknick tables were a wonderful asset BBQ worked very well with a full propane tank. All linens and towels were clean. Short length of stairs took us to the sandy beach which was clean, perfectly shallow lake , and there were docks where you can dive off safely. Bonus was a deep sea diving school in surrounding waters. The lake was not over used by motor boats allowing the kayaks to be used without worry. lots of area to play, basket ball tower, all in all a wonderful homey place for the long weekend. Fantastic

This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.
