"Pura Vida" är en fras som används i Costa Rica som betyder "rent liv" eller "full av liv". Den här egenskapen lever definitivt upp till det namnet med handskuren och tillverkade trägolv, väggar och accenter. Allt trä och sten i detta hem har blivit handvalda från träden och bäcken som finns på fastigheten. Köksskåpskapen är tillverkade av återvunnet trä som en gång var en del av Arnold Palmers klubbhus. Whitetail Deer Antler fixturer, handgjorda Sassafras trä trappstänger och så mycket mer medföra naturen till liv inom Pura Vida. Höghastighetsinternet och satellit-TV!

First Time - Not the Last Time

AHHHHMAZING!!! Our first time camping in Ohiopyle was beyond expectations! The Pura Vida house was beyond what we thought we were renting - HUGE, BEAUTIFUL, PRIVATE retreat minutes from everything we wanted to experience. White water rafring, fishing, hiking, shopping and hanging out around the fire and in the hot tub more than filled our days. We literally started planning to come back next year on the first day.

Bike Trip

It is a beautiful setting, although in a rather remote location, especially when your mode of transportation is bikes. Not a lot of extras in the kitchen but could make do. It would be nice to have ground coffee there & not just K-cups.

Amazing place off the grid!

Overall the property was amazing. Well secluded but lots to do within a few miles. This is out in the woods so you can expect low water pressure. When we first arrived the upstairs smelled like sewage but the area recently got a lot of rain and as soon as we started using the water/drains in went away. This place is spacious and worked perfect for our aunt/niece getaway! Very cozy and the beds were very comfortable! This house had everything basic you needed down to some shampoo and soap!

Quiet Getaway

We got snowed in and I can’t think of a better place for that to happen! Enjoyed the house, the woods, the bedrooms, and the hot tub. Nice and clean

Would definitely stay again

We really enjoyed our stay, very few complaints.The tap water has a strong rust smell & taste, which is common when on a well, but a couple of gallons of Spring water would be great! There were only three of us, so we each had our own bedroom, one of my criteria. Next trip to Ohiopyle, would probably go with something smaller. My son is planning a gathering of friends and is going to consider this property.

Clean Property

The property was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The cupboards were a little high for shorter people so it would have been nice to have a little step stool available. Other than that we had a great stay.

Pretty and peaceful stay

The house was beautiful! Very clean, if yor looking for a secluded stay thats the place to be. The hot tub was great , a couple jets weren't working but not a big deal other than that there were no problems. We definitely recommend that house and look forward to renting again. Thank you! 😊

Great stay

We had a peaceful and enjoyable trip to Pura Vida. It is secluded and felt very safe. The property was as advertised and very spacious, bigger than the pictures make it look. We had one plumbing issue that was responded to quickly. Highly recommended and we will be back!

Fall Family Weekend

Cabin was clean and spacious. Lovely, private setting in the woods while close to Ohiopyle. Also, it just happened to be the most beautiful autumn weather weekend of the year. Lucky us!

Spectacular!!! Natural beauty all around.

The property was quiet, secluded, and peaceful. The natural beauty of the wildlife, streams and buildings was amazing. We absolutely loved our stay. I thought I lost the key and management was right on it.
