The property was awsome! Beautiful views of the bay. Everything was so close by, HEB, starbucks, Wal-Mart, and baitshops. Caught a ladyfish and redfish right out back. We used the lady fish to catch a shark on the beach. I would give this place 10 stars if we could.

The Laguna Madre Backyard

Exactly what we wanted, not in the city to avoid the hustle and bustle, but near enough to everything we might need. The awesome lower Laguna Madre as the backyard and it is shallow so it doesn't have the usual noisy boating activity. I lived and worked in the area many years ago so I knew exactly what we were getting and where! The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Our stay was as perfect as we expected! Thank you and you can expect us back in the future.

Delightful, quiet interlude.

Their place was wonderful. Beautiful view from the living area and the bedroom upstairs. Everything was spotless as well. Definitely would come back. Port Isabel is a great respite from the hubbub of South Padre.

A very nice place to stay

We enjoyed staying in the house, it is in a good location, just outside of Port Isabel and very near South Padre Island, on the end of a quiet street. The bay view out the back window is amazing. We saw all sorts of birds when looking out. The pool is a short walk up the quiet street and very clean and much larger than the pictures look. The house had all of the normal kitchen items, the A/C was cold, the hot water was hot, and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. There are no beach towels, so make sure to bring some with you.

Neat place to stay

The tiny neighborhood is on the bay. It seems most of the houses on the street are vacation rentals. The house is clean and beautiful. Would stay again. We had a day with AC not working and host was quick to help. We never made it to the pool as it was busy with people who were not staying in any of the houses that we could tell. Drive to the beach was not far and H‑E‑B around the corner. Also, there were hardly any mosquitos so you could actually enjoy the outdoor patio. Would stay again.

PERFECTLY COMFORTABLE

Great location and a wonderful home. Close to the beach but removed from the crowds. Relaxing view from the back patio overlooking the lagoon, watching the birds and feeling the breeze. House was clean and well-furnished, comfortable beds too. Each bedroom had a TV in addition to the large one in the den, so my grandson was thrilled when he wanted to retreat to read and watch a show. I never needed the owner because he had already made sure that everything was perfectly ready, but he made sure to let me know he was available. Definitely a great stay!

A lovely Christmas vacation at the property!

Based on the many positive reviews of the property, we picked it for our getaway this Christmas holiday. It turned out to be an excellent choice for us! We enjoyed the beautifully decorated home - Christmas and beach theme. The home was very clean with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, and gorgeous views (facing the water and a view of the Queen Isabelle Causeway to South Padre Island). Great location: a couple mins drive to HEB grocery store and Port Isabel town with shops and restaurants, yet tucked away in a quiet gated community. Very reliable and high speed wifi. Owners are very responsive too. We highly recommend this property and would be back again when visiting the South Padre Island area.

Very quiet neighbor, felt totally safe. Just a few miles over the bridge to South Padre Island. So close without being in the midst of all the hotels and condos. The house included a community pool that was a nice big beautiful area.

This stay is amazing! It is actually better than the photos. Breathtaking view welcomed us as soon as we got in the house. One tip is this place is not for beach swimmers, it's more for fishers.

We had a great time during our stay; The house is very comfortable. The only issue we had was the code for the door, but Oscar helped us with the backup key. We definitely recommend having mosquito repellent on sitting on the back patio.

The best experience and beach vacay!!

This is my second visit at this property and I absolutely loved it! Initially, we recognized the cleanliness and beautiful ocean side view. Our rental definitely made it a trip to remember and we will be returning!

Perfect bay side vacation!

First time ever staying in Port Isabel and it was the best experience! The house was perfect for my family of 5! There’s a basketball court and swing sets right outside the backyard. The beach was just a couple minutes away, HEB and Walmart are a 2 minute drive away. Oh and let me tell you about the view from the living room! Gorgeous!

True Gem - Lovely Place and Comfortable

The pictures don't do it justice, it is a really nice place and awesome views. The amenities are great from stepping out and fishing to having the playground and basketball court nearby. The home is nice and clean. Beds are comfortable enough. My wife and kids all loved it and kids did not want to leave. The hosts were responsive and nice although did not need to reach out to them at all until the end to just be courteous and confirm anything else they required to be done when leaving. And the proximity to South Padre Island beaches makes it perfect and close to HEB, I would rather stay here than on the island.

Perfect Texas Coast House

The property was immaculately clean, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. House was fully equipped and beautifully decorated. Excellent location if you want tranquillity and not too far from South Padre Island.

We choose this property for the amazing views of the bay as well as the tranquil feeling this community offers. It is also only 4 miles from South Padre Island which makes it easy to access the beautiful beaches.
