Stugan ligger på sidan av Hatcher Mtn cirka en kilometer från Wears Valley Rd på en asfalterad länsväg. Från fönstren möter du Cove Mountain i Wears Valley och Smoky Mountains. Njut av integriteten och avskildheten på den här platsen eftersom bara en annan hyttstuga finns i närheten. Det ligger nära Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge (15 miles) och Gatlinburg (18 miles). Det finns 3 sovrum (inkl. Ett loft), alla med en dubbelsäng och eget badrum. En tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns i badrummet på huvudnivån. Vardagsrummet och matplatsen på huvudnivån kan du njuta av den fantastiska utsikten genom en hel fönstervägg. Om du blir trött på utsikten, har vardagsrummet bekväma sittplatser för att njuta av vedeldad spis, läsning eller platt-TV utrustad med Xfinity och suddig spelare. Förutom ett sovrum och badrum har bottenvåningen nivån ett biljardbord, TV utrustad med Xfinity och en bäddsoffa. Det finns flera däckområden för att njuta av utsikten, koppla av i badtunnan, äta dina måltider på utomhusbordet eller laga mat på den nya gasgrillen. Charming Home with great views

Great location - close to attractions but nicely secluded for time to relax. Hot tub and front porch views are stunning. Responsive host. Highly recommend!

Great Mountain Getaway

This was a great getaway with easy access to all things in the area. We loved Wears Valley and its laid back style. The house was just what we were looking for for a family vacation.

Perfect escape

My family was traveling to TN for a cheer competition and this was a better option than 2 hotel rooms. It was perfect for us! We enjoyed the space and the hot tub a lot!

Beautiful views

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for our honeymoon and had such a great time. The location is perfect and easy to find. The amenities were nice and well maintained. Definitely recommend this cabin and plan on booking again!

SNOWED IN

I can’t say enough good things about the host & property manager!!! Upon arrival we had a slight issue, it was 11pm so we waited until the next morning to reach out to Sean. He was there to assist before we even finished our breakfast and followed up with us the remainder of our trip. The night before departure snow came and even with 4WD we were stuck. Graciously Cherie was able to accommodate use for an extra night without any fuss & was sure to make sure everyone made it back home safely. 10/10 would stay here again. Only note was that the place was a bit dusty, however it is a new construction & things take time to settle. It was the perfect place for our little family!

Christmas memories with family!

Perfect for our family. Fairly easy to get to. Kitchen very well equipped for cooking purposes. Very nice washer and dryer. All of the beds were amazing. Best mattresses ever in a rental. The views were absolutely amazing. Many family memories made.

Great Christmas Holiday

Could not ask for a better place to spend Christmas in the mountains. Owners made everything so easy. The Cabin/house is so nice with everything you could need. Our stay was all we could expect and more.

Great cabin clean and included the small details

We enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet neighborhood kid and pet friendly. It was clean and the owner put in the small details such as Christmas decor and hooks to hang all of our coats etc.

Fantastic cabin!

This is a great cabin. The view is breathtaking. The beds are comfortable. It was spacious for our family of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids), which we enjoyed. It was so convenient to have 3 1/2 bathrooms with 3 showers. The location was perfect for us. It is relatively central to all the places we want to visit when we come to TN (GSMNP, Townsend, Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg). The kids loved the pool table. We will definitely check to see if it’s available when we plan our next trip to the Smokies.

Cherie’s Chalet- Phoenix from the Ashes

As always, a stay a Cherie’s Chalet is one to remember. We used to come stay at her original chalet. It was so special!! We all loved that beautiful deck that looked out onto the mountains and valley. We missed that this time. But, the new chalet is awesome too! Love the colors!! Awesome cabin with Amazing views

We had a wonderful fun filled time at Cherie’s Chalet. We celebrated 4 generations over fall break. The view of the sunrise and the mountains as the mist slowly disappeared was beautiful! There is everything you need to make the best family memories!

Wonderful

Exactly as advertised. This place was perfect. View was beautiful. Cabin was secluded yet close enough to Gatlinburg, Cades Cove and Pigeon Forge. Very well stocked kitchen for cooking in. Plenty of room for our family.Owners and caretakers went above and beyond, and helped us out with some medical equipment. deliveries. Highly recommend! recommend!

Fantastic Stay in Quiet Wears Valley

We loved our stay at this property - it’s our second time staying at Cherie’s property (first her original listing 3.5 years ago, and now this stay) and we will definitely plan to be back. Our host is kind and hospitable and very quick with communication. The house is spacious and new and clean with beautiful views of the valley. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the deck. We ate outside every meal. The beds were very comfortable! Some of the best we’ve slept in at a vrbo! We loved the house. We also love the area - we don’t usually spend time in downtown gatlinburg but we do a lot of hiking around the area and on the outskirts of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This locations helps cut down on traffic a lot! Thanks for a great stay!

Great getaway!

Easy check in process and great views! We like to be in the mountains but not IN the mountains. No major switchback roads other than the main road into town and the road the house is on may be narrow but definitely easy to traverse. Relaxing weekend vacations should definitely look at this cabin!

Great view

We had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for six adults9 and a baby. There is a bedroom and bathroom on each of three levels. The basement level also has a nice entertainment area with a sleeper sofa and pool table and and a TV. There is a beautiful view of the mountains from the kitchen and LR. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. No complaints other than it would be nice to have TVs in the bedrooms as well.

Incredible Views / Great stay

Had such a great experience! Cabin was super clean and my family loved it. Plenty of space for our family of 6 + dog. View (in summer) was amazing!! We loved the location- being away from the cities but close enough to both Pigeon Forge (15min) & Gatlinburg (30min) to hang out for the day. Overall, we are very impressed and had a great time! Thank you Cheri for a great family vacation home base! Definitely recommend and if we vacation here again…we will stay here! :)

Great getaway

The views are amazing!! Great lace to take the family and relax. We saw a momma bear and her cubs playing in the road. The only thing negative I have to say was in the master suite there is a window without a way to block out the light. To some people that might not be a negative but I was on vacation and I wanted to sleep in.

We both grew up in TN and met in college at UT Knoxville. Growing up my family spent a lot of time in the Smokies. As a young adult driving through the area with my family, I would wonder what it would be like to own a rental home here. In 2012 we purchased Cherie's Chalet, added the dining area, and then put it on the rental market with the plan to move there when my husband retired in a few years. In 2015 we decided to look for another rental home and in the process found a home to live in. So, after living in MO for 22 yrs(my how time flies!), we retired in the area in the summer of 2015.
We have used VRBO for some of our vacations for about 20 years. It has always been a pleasurable experience. With all the improvements in VRBO over the years , it is even easier to find and reserve the perfect vacation home. And now, we are excited about being able to offer our home to others through VRBO.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We are not in a development. The cabin is on a county road with an amazing view of Cove Mountain in Wears Valley. It is located close to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Pigeon Forge, and Townsend, but is a place where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful life.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

There is a whole wall of windows at one end of the cabin that allows us to look down at Wears Valley, but also look out on some of the Smoky Mountains as well. It so peaceful to relax on the decks while watching the birds fly around.
