Stugan ligger på sidan av Hatcher Mtn cirka en kilometer från Wears Valley Rd på en asfalterad länsväg. Från fönstren möter du Cove Mountain i Wears Valley och Smoky Mountains. Njut av integriteten och avskildheten på den här platsen eftersom bara en annan hyttstuga finns i närheten. Det ligger nära Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge (15 miles) och Gatlinburg (18 miles). Det finns 3 sovrum (inkl. Ett loft), alla med en dubbelsäng och eget badrum. En tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns i badrummet på huvudnivån. Vardagsrummet och matplatsen på huvudnivån kan du njuta av den fantastiska utsikten genom en hel fönstervägg. Om du blir trött på utsikten, har vardagsrummet bekväma sittplatser för att njuta av vedeldad spis, läsning eller platt-TV utrustad med Xfinity och suddig spelare. Förutom ett sovrum och badrum har bottenvåningen nivån ett biljardbord, TV utrustad med Xfinity och en bäddsoffa. Det finns flera däckområden för att njuta av utsikten, koppla av i badtunnan, äta dina måltider på utomhusbordet eller laga mat på den nya gasgrillen. Beautiful cabin with amazing views. Great location being close enough to surrounding area attractions, but removed enough to feel like a retreat. Also enjoy the fact that the cabin is pet friendly so fur babies can join the family trip, too. Lastly, the surrounding nature and critters are amazing. Lots of adult and baby bear sightings each time we have visited.

The location of the property was close to all of the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge activities. It was very quiet. One day we saw a red tailed hawk. The views were beautiful. The whole experience was relaxing. The extra touches to make our pet feel comfortable were appreciated. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful experience! Host was available to answer any questions we had, place was clean and had everything we needed, with absolutely gorgeous views!!! We did get to see some bears and other wildlife, wanted to mention for future guests that the bears normally pass by between 12 and 1 pm. Construction workers next door said they have a den below! Would definitely stay again!!

This was the perfect house to stay in for our Smoky Mountains trip! The house was clean and well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a home away from home. When we did have a question about an item Sean was very quick to respond and make sure we had everything we needed. We really took advantage of the hot tub after the long hikes every day and enjoyed playing pool every night. The cabin feels secluded yet very accessible to everything. We loved having our coffee on the porch every morning enjoying the view and the wildlife. We even had a bear visit! We will definitely stay here again next time we come!

We had an amazing stay, such a beautiful cabin and away from the madness of Gatlinburg. We had everything we needed and the cabin was nearly new. The views of Wears Valley were amazing. Very comfortable and well equipped for a great family getaway.

Great Mountain Getaway

This was a great getaway with easy access to all things in the area. We loved Wears Valley and its laid back style. The house was just what we were looking for for a family vacation.

We both grew up in TN and met in college at UT Knoxville. Growing up my family spent a lot of time in the Smokies. As a young adult driving through the area with my family, I would wonder what it would be like to own a rental home here. In 2012 we purchased Cherie's Chalet, added the dining area, and then put it on the rental market with the plan to move there when my husband retired in a few years. In 2015 we decided to look for another rental home and in the process found a home to live in. So, after living in MO for 22 yrs(my how time flies!), we retired in the area in the summer of 2015.
We have used VRBO for some of our vacations for about 20 years. It has always been a pleasurable experience. With all the improvements in VRBO over the years , it is even easier to find and reserve the perfect vacation home. And now, we are excited about being able to offer our home to others through VRBO.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We are not in a development. The cabin is on a county road with an amazing view of Cove Mountain in Wears Valley. It is located close to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Pigeon Forge, and Townsend, but is a place where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful life.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

There is a whole wall of windows at one end of the cabin that allows us to look down at Wears Valley, but also look out on some of the Smoky Mountains as well. It so peaceful to relax on the decks while watching the birds fly around.
