Downtown Bliss, Walk Everywhere!
This is the lower level, street facing unit of a brand new construction duplex. It is a totally separate unit with its own entrance and a cozy yet luxury feel. The interior is modern with an open living space and a built-in electric fireplace. Less than a mile to the Live Oak Bank Pavilion and just a few blocks to all that downtown has to offer. The entire duplex was just built in 2024 and is ready to host you whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation!
This is a brand new home in Wilmington's Historic District--a rare find! The interior is modern with an open living space and a built-in electric fireplace. This unit can sleep a maximum of 4, but unless there are children or petite adults it is most comfortable with 2 or 3. It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with a pull out couch in the living area (slightly larger than a twin) along with a convertible accent chair (slightly smaller than a twin). It has its own kitchen with a fridge/freezer, sink, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, & coffee maker. Essentials like plates, cups, cookware, utensils, & paper towels will be provided for your use. Note that the bathroom is connected to the bedroom, so if guests sleeping on the pull out couch need to use the bathroom in the night, they will need to access the bathroom by walking through the bedroom. This unit is one story and faces the street with its own private entrance. The other unit is two stories and has a separate entrance on the side of the home, however the walkway runs from the very front of the home down the whole south side and you may hear or see other guests walking to their entrance.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
We welcome guests of all backgrounds! However, due to prior disrespectful renters and property damage, we will only be accepting booking requests from:
--Users who are "verified" and who already have positive reviews from other hosts.
--Renters that are above the age of 21.
--Renters who are not bringing pets.
***There is no dedicated parking. There is free street parking that is available on a first come, first served basis. We know it looks like there's a driveway for parking, but please keep us on the Historical District's good side and refrain from parking there and park in the street only. Please lock your vehicles and take any valuables with you.
***The bedroom shares the back wall and the ceiling with the other unit in the duplex, which means you may hear guests above you and behind you if it is occupied during your stay. Weâve provided sound makers in the bedroom in case this is bothersome. We kindly ask that guests in both units are mindful of quiet hours as not to disturb others. If guests in the other unit are being far too loud, please let us know and we will address that with them immediately.
***The fireplace color and heat settings can be controlled via remote or on the touch panel of the fireplace itself. Instructions are in the welcome binder. Feel free to take advantage of all it has to offer and create the ambiance that suits you best! Please remember to turn it off when not in use or if it's not being monitored to conserve energy and for safety reasons.
***If you are bringing infants/babies, the units are NOT baby-proofed. (Furniture is NOT secured to walls, outlet blockers are NOT included, cabinets/drawers are NOT locked, etc.) You assume responsibilities for all guests.
***There are many popular restaurants and attractions within a mile, including the Live Oak Bank Pavilion and all that the Riverwalk and Front Street have to offer. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out prior to booking.
