The Gulf view was lovely. It's nice to be on the Gulf and enjoy the sound of the waves, the sunshine, the peacefulness and nature's beauty. The beds were comfortable, the condo was clean, the pictures were good. However, we were disappointed with condo as there was evidence of water leakage issues (ceiling damage), mold and definitely mildew odor. Some of the furniture is newer, some is tired, and the tub chair had a bad odor (unpleasant to be in). We realize that living on the Gulf has its challenges, however this unit exceeded what one would expect. We have rented thru this website for decades, sadly this rental was disappointing,We contacted the management company when we got there about 4:45 (code was due at 4:00, we got it at 3:59). The office closed at 5:00. We were given an opportunity to change rentals, we think that was the next day. As we had a very busy schedule of events, we couldn't afford the time to relocate to another unit. Doing so would have caused us to miss some of the special events we were there for. We should have contacted this website when we arrived, as they may have been able to help. We did contact them when we got home, they couldn't do anything for us. We were told disciplinary action would be taken against the rental management company. We know it's challenging for condo owners to own a rental. We hope the owners take the necessary actions to address these concerns before future rentals are made.

Overall a great location and the unit was very comfortable. The view was what we hoped it would be and it had easy beach and pool access. I only rated this as 4 star likely a 3.5 due to an unusable sliding glass balcony door. The door stuck open and the frame came off the guides and the frame where the handle is located pulled away from the glass part of the door. It was a real hassle. I was able to get it back together and the door closed but it was unusable. We alerted the host who responded quickly but maintenance did not come the next day. We had to reach out again so all in all the balcony door was inoperable for 2.5 days. Maintenance finally came got it adjusted and screwed back together but stated that the entire door needs to be replaced or it will happen again. So if you read this ask the host if the door has been replaced before booking or the same thing may happen to you. What’s the point of a view and balcony if you can’t access it? Note we were able to access the balcony through a bedroom door however only when our family wasn’t using the bedroom.

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback and for alerting us to the balcony door issue. We're glad maintenance was able to get it functional during your stay, and we sincerely apologize for the delayed response and the inconvenience this caused you. You're absolutely right—that door is essential to enjoying the view and space you're paying for. We've taken your recommendation seriously and have scheduled the door replacement for next month. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and for your patience while we worked through it. We hope you'll give us another chance to provide you with the full experience you deserve. Thank you for choosing us!

Pictures did not indicate the true condition of the condo. Very run down. Washer/dryer did not work and all the clothes smelled and did not dry. Kitchen had no hot water. Main bathroom drained terribly slow. Balcony door had to be adjusted 3 times Very disappointing based on the listing. It was a very uncomfortable week

We are sorry you had a poor experience with the condo, we have checked the hot water and did see that it took a bit to heat up, but is flowing well. We will check on the washer and make sure to get them up and running again, we apologize for the issue. We hope to host you in the future.
