Built in 1894, the delightful Inn on Fleming is an 11 room boutique hotel that was once the residence of Board of Education chair Glynn Archer until it was transformed into what is now a serendipitous tropical refuge, boasting 9 unique rooms and suites and tucked into a peaceful residential street. You are only two blocks from the Historic Seaport and a short stroll to 5 star restaurants, bars, shopping and the endless allure of famous Duval Street. Whether you're looking to hook your catch of the day, visit upscale art galleries, or swim with the dolphins, let us be your home away from home in paradise.

The magic begins as you step onto our cozy wraparound porch with comfortable and plentiful seating, where you are immersed in the unique sights and sounds of our charming neighborhood. The spacious kitchen, dining and cozy living areas are shared spaces on the first level. Retreat to our tropical garden to savor a cup of coffee in the morning. Sip on a crafted cocktail in the afternoon and take a dip in our lush tropical heated pool featuring a soothing and relaxing waterfall. Indulge yourself with a favorite novel or explore the internet with free Wi-Fi. All of our rooms include an en-suite bathroom, Serta PerfectSleeper Prestige Suite 11 Mattresses, fine linens, flat screen TV, coffeemaker and a mini-fridge, countertop ice machine, as well as tropical garden views. Our concierge services can advise you about all the things to do, including reservations to snorkel, kayak in the mangrove channels, or relax on an evening sunset sail.

The Truman room is located on the 2nd floor and offers a cozy space with a queen bed and a private shower bathroom. Perfect for a weekend getaway for two, this peaceful refuge connects to the Whitehead Room, providing additional space for friends or family traveling together for that special Key West vacation.

I loved The Inn on Fleming

The location of the property was ideal. Close to everything but far enough not to be too noisy. Everything is at a walking distance. My bedroom, the Truman was, very comfortable: the queen bed with four pillows. It is nice to have your own fridge and ice maker in your room. The air conditioner was great. It is very convenient to have a kitchen available, and the water machine to fill your bottle before you leave the house for the day. The concierge was great and made easy to rent a bike or for anything you needed. I will definitely come back to Key West and stay in The Inn on Fleming.

When the day came, I received a text message with code and instructions for room. It had a very key West feel to it all wooden in the hotel and stairway. Once in room I was pleasantly surprised. Great view of the street, great AC and comfortable bed. I was able to find parking right in front of 5h4 Fleming house. I would definitely stay again though maybe next time first floor. 5 stars for sure

A Nice Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What we loved best about this stay was the large, open kitchen and living area (shared, but which we mostly had to ourselves). This is where we drank our coffee (available 24/7 - thank you!!), read, microwaved leftovers, ate deliciousness from nearby Old Town Bakery, and enjoyed the juiciest oranges (provided). Our Truman room was small but adequate. Loved having the fridge and ice maker! We didn’t use the concierge service, but it was available. Location was a bit farther from center Old Town than we would have preferred in the heat. Next time, I would get a larger room with a larger bed. This one wasn’t comfortable for two average plus older adults. One quick fix I would recommend to the owners: have a few different kinds of pillows. The ones in the Truman room, at least, were solid rbricks, not our preferred type.

Wonderful Experience

The house was adorable with the cool old Keys vibe. Liz was awesome and her communication regarding check in/check out made things effortless. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

Room we were in was not very spacious especially the bathroom but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was grab and go, yogurt and bread/bagels left out to toast yourself. The backyard plunge pool is not heated and was too cold to use.
