We selected this property for its location, being dog friendly and the price. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The house is clean and the furnishings are comfortable. The kitchen seemed to have every appliance available. The host provided two dog beds, which our dog used and was comfortable on both. The backyard and screened porch do need some attention. The host was very responsive.

Make sure you read the listing very carefully and make sure you check the guest number. I was one guest coming to visit a friend. I thought I was renting the whole house. I had the whole house filter on my search. When I arrived, all interior doors were locked, aside from one bedroom. They said I only booked for one person. There was a hurricane the day after I checked in and I asked to have another bedroom unlocked so my friend could stay with me during the storm. They acted like they didn’t understand my message and kept telling me to read the house rules. Apparently, I checked one guest, but had added my friend to the reservation. They wouldn’t unlock any other interior doors because I put one guest. They wouldn’t communicate about the hurricane and kept telling me to read the rules. Ultimately, I had to move to another location. The house is also very empty, as far as furniture and decor. Minimal seating that is very old, no rugs, no art. The whole house echoes and feels empty. And no furniture on the back patio. Not even a chair. All cabinets packed with dishes and no room for groceries. They seem to use the house just to store dishes. There was nothing inviting or comfortable about the house. Just a bare-bones rental and hosts who live elsewhere and don’t communicate. Also, the floor was dirty and hair was in the shower. As someone who has been a superhost for years, this was one of my worst experiences in a rental. Still awaiting promised refund for days not stayed.

Yes it is a bit outdated but very spacious and we found it clean and comfortable. It's a great space, and the host Zen is very responsive.

This was for a quick gathering of friends from cities a few hours away in either direction. Property is in a nice suburb outside the city with plenty of space for groups of 4. Very comfortable & spacious with a grocery less than 2 miles away. Would definitely stay here again.

So convenient to the Lake Iamonia Lodge

We gathered for my son’s wedding and had a lovely time. Neighborhood was quiet. The house was large and the beds comfortable.

Location, for our needs, was excellent. Nice quiet neighborhood. Layout of house was excellent for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. Host was responsive during check-in. Beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. One chair in dinette was broken, and one bar chair was broken. Kitchen was adequately equipped. Rooms were lacking in wall decor.

Wedding weekend

Everything was great from check-in to checking out. Only negative thing I can think of is that the TV screen needed to be cleaned and I really didn’t care about it. Would come back if I have the need to visit Tally again.

Would stay again

House was beautiful inside. Would stay again. TV’s in bedrooms would be nice. Some chairs on screened porch would be helpful. Please cut grass in backyard. For us older customers magnifying mirrors in bathrooms would help. We did not have any instructions when we checked out as to laundry items. Most Vrbo properties we have stayed have a notebook with all instructions. Overall very nice property.

.

This house worked well for our multi-generational family who was in town for a family funeral. Zen was a very responsive host. The home was very no-frills, but was spacious and the kitchen was stocked with a variety of appliances. The neighborhood was safe and walkable, and we appreciated the fenced-in yard for our dog.We did notice a very strong bleach/cleaning product smell throughout our stay, which lingered despite our attempts to air out the house. Additionally, the electronic lock was not user-friendly and even the millennials/gen Z members of the family struggled to use it. Overall it was a good stay, thank you!

Property was very nice outside. The fence was falling down in some spots and holes. Also there was poison ivy in the backyard. It looks like it had not been cleaned in several months. Poison ivy is not good for pets especially dogs that like to snip and walk around the house was very clean. I did not like the fact that the fourth bedroom was locked. Just because I only had three people does not mean I could not have used the fourth bedroom to put stuff in i.e. the closet space I was there for an out-of-town wedding so I had a lot of supplies that were brought in

The home is spacious and has a nice living space. All areas in the home were clean and maintained. The owner was very accessible and responded to any questions I had. I would recommend bringing a flashlight if are going to come late at night as it is dark. We weren't able to see the address well and the porch light was not on so it to a little time to open the lock box to get inside. We would rent the home again.
