Laura, Thank you for your kind words about the charming Taos/New Mexico vibe, the spacious feel, and the beautiful tile work — we're so glad you enjoyed the authentic character of the rooftop apartment! We're sorry the nighttime noise from sirens, traffic, and occasional horns affected your sleep. As a true downtown central location, our property is right in the heart of Taos, so some urban sounds (emergency vehicles, cars, etc.) are part of the lively town atmosphere, especially on certain nights. Most guests find it manageable and love being able to walk everywhere, but we understand it can be surprising if you're used to quieter areas. We've added a note in our listing description to better set expectations around this. We hope you'll consider staying with us again on a future visit to Taos!"
