Great place to stay in Taos. Right downtown, so it can be noisy after hours. With bars & restaurants all around you, we didn’t drive much. Highly recommend.

The most charming, centrally located and intelligently appointed apartment. Four adults had ample space, and six would be comfortable. Very well equipped with quality finishes. No effort spared anticipating visitors’ needs. Cutest VRBO we’ve stayed in!

Boys Ski Trip

3 guys, 5 days, multiple ski trips. House was conveniently located, well stocked, and clean. Many thoughtful inclusions (e.g., sidewalk salt) for guests which we appreciated. House manager Terri was great. We will be back.

Great location

Family weekend was perfect at this great apartment. Loved the location and the layout. Very clean and well stocked. Had everything we needed to relax and enjoy Taos. Wood burning fire was an added perk! We’ll be back.

Pre-holiday family time

Exactly as described and perfect for my family of 4 with 2 young adults. We wanted a quick trip before Christmas and Taos fit the bill! The condo is over a bar, but the noise is minimal. The location is perfect for exploring everything in and around Taos.

Accommodating with great location!

Enjoyed a girls trip in the heart of downtown Toas. Apartment had so much character and enough space as well as enough accommodations for myself and friends. Absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home within walking distance of shops, food, and a great local coffee shop.

Great property

Overall the property was fantastic. Great location. Terri the property manager was beyond amazing. Was very attentive and helpful. Only downside, and not much of one, was the bar below had music going well after midnight. You get used to it, but if your bedtime is before 10pm, its tough. Would rent again knowing what to expect.

Excellent Apt Downtown

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful halloween in Taos. It was great being so close to everything in the Plaza since there was construction so walking was ideal. Since it was close to everything this worked perfectly for us. It was great being right outside of the action and when we got tired it was easy to go hack to the cute apartment and relax. We even cooked a dinner the first night and it was a great kitchen to cook in!

The Perfect Taos Spot

The Debor House worked out perfectly for us. In Taos for a family wedding, it was large enough for people to stop by & visit. Plenty of room for meals, well equipped kitchen, comfortable set up, close to everything. We will definitely rent again if we are in Taos.

Great Location and Great Hosts

Convenient location with dedicated parking just a block off the plaza. The host was great to deal with. House is cozy and well setup. The only trade out for the great location is is road noise, so we couldn't sleep with the windows open at night. We loved having the deck away from the street for morning coffee and gathering in the evenings. Enjoyed our stay!

Christmas in Taos

We loved this cozy southwestern escape in the heart of Taos. Kitchen was well appointed for cooking Christmas dinner. The living and dining room was complemented by the fireplace. Plenty of firewood was provided. Our family relaxed and enjoyed this holiday experience. Whole heartedly recommend this place to anyone.

Everything you want and need in Taos

My wife and I have been traveling to Taos for 20 years and have stayed everywhere from the ski valley to Valdez to Blueberry Hill and nothing compares to this charming 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of Taos. The space itself is well thought out and wonderfully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped ready to cook an evening meal or just brew coffee first thing. Being on the Main Street we got to enjoy the town come alive in the mornings and would open our window just to watch while we drank our coffee. The entire home is spotless and is clearly well maintained. In fact we love it so much we would buy it if we could! If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Taos that is convenient to galleries, shops and restaurants but enjoy access to the ski valley and all the mountains have to offer - this is your place. Five stars.

Great location. Comfortable beds. Place is run down and needs attention.

Stairs leading up to the apartment are dangerous and need to be replaced. Lampshade, located in the CENTER of the room was torn, All pads on the dining room chairs were torn and windows on the outside were filthy. Wooden floors in high traffic areas are Scuffed and damaged. The master Bath tub doesn’t, drain (standing in 6 inches of water while showering). The fireplace needs touch up plant after winters use. The swamp cooling system, gas grill and front door key pad were all broken when we arrived. The deck has no shade had accumulated leaves and broken light pieces. Massive amount of weeds in front of the unit. I bought windex and cleaned the outside of the windows (the whole apartment), removed the pads from the dining chairs and swapped the torn lampshade for a better one from another room. I found some rugs in a closet and tried to cover some of damaged flooring. I swept the deck and removed all debris. Over the next five days of our visit, the caretaker had the swamp cooling system repaired, replaced the gas grill with a new one and brought us a key for the front door. Had to live with the stairs, shower, fireplace and weeds.

We have been coming to Taos for 25 years, first as vacationeers' to the surrounding areas. We discovered we spent most of our time in Taos, so bought our first family vacation home not far from where we are now. However, we still wanted to be in town. When we had the opportunity to purchase this wonderful old property we could not resist. Owning a piece of Taos history is an honor and privilege for us. We love being able to walk through the galleries and shops at our leisure. Then stoping in at one of our favorite restaurants for lunch or margaritas and nachos with friends. If we want to venture out to go site seeing or ski it is easier from town, we can be most anywhere within a 30 minute to an hours drive. We love to go do all the things the surrounding areas have to offer and then come back to town and still have so many options for dinner and entertainment.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This location is Taos, the best of NM. It is all right here, plenty of year-round activities. Our Rooftop apartment in the heart of Taos's Historic and Arts District puts you in the midst of it all. Everything is within steps of our apartment, yet no one knows you are there, hidden in plain view! Our apartment encompasses the second story of the original Travelers Hotel (circa early 1900's). Even though we are right downtown you can still enjoy magnificent mountain views and Taos sunsets on the oversized deck or through the windows.

The best aspects about this apartment are its size and location. You are right downtown, within walking distance to the Historic Plaza, the best restaurants, nighttime entertainment, art galleries, shopping, all that Taos has to offer. This is a home with everything you need, with plenty of room for your family and friends. A downtown space of this size that can accommodate six guest is very rare, especially with off street parking.
