Like a visit to Grandma's house

We had a lovely stay in this home. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with convenient access to Ohio State University. The floor plan allowed for both togetherness and privacy. We affectionately called this our visit to Grandma's because of it's cozy comfort.

Thanksgiving week

Mike’s house is spacious and centrally located in Columbus and easily accommodated our family of five plus Grandma. The neighborhood is awesome. The kitchen is beautiful and perfect for a family gathering.

Family Get Away

The house was spacious, and the yard was large! The house was tidy, but the inner bedrooms didn't feel clean. Could have used a much needed deep cleaning. Old food wrappers and clothing were found in the bedrooms. However, overall very pleased with our stay. Very safe neighborhood close to the city.

Nice Neighborhood but uncomfortable beds

This house was in a beautiful, safe area and that was really important to us. Some areas around OSU can be sketchy. The house was clean and the owner very nice and responsive. Unfortunately the beds were very hard. I had to sleep on the couch because my back was killing me, I just could not sleep in the bed. It’s unfortunate because I just moved my son into OSU from out of State and I plan on traveling to OSU quite a few times over the next 4 years. I’d would have loved to rent this house again but can’t due to the beds. Luckily It’s an easy fix by adding a memory foam topper to the 4 beds in the house to make guests more comfortable.

Great location, nice house

Stayed here for a month while our house was being sold. Plenty of space for both my husband and I to spread out and work (although needed to use the our own wifi extender to get strong connection in all parts of the house). The unfenced yard was great for our dog, as was the walkable neighborhood with minimal car traffic. There's a skybridge to cross the river and freeway to get to Park of the Roses, and a trail entrance to Ohio Health's walking path nearby too. The house is near railroad tracks but after the first couple days the train whistle became background noise; first time it was quite the surprise and our dog 'talked' about it! Comfortable beds (did not use the twin beds room) and plenty of seating in the two living room areas. The kitchen remodel is lovely; only reason not 5* for cleanliness as there was old food in the fridge and cupboards, and some of the pots and pans appear to have been put away without being cleaned. A simple housekeeping issue to fix; everything else in the house was spotless. The owner was very responsive to a minor HVAC issue. Got it fixed quickly with minimal impact on us. I'd definitely stay here again if I ever return to Columbus.

This was a Fantastic stay. We were all in town for a wedding. (Coming from different states) this house gave privacy to all of us as well as great gathering spaces. Stunning kitchen. But every morning we had a visitor, just put us right in nature of things Thank-you Mike, beautiful home, Extraordinary Host!

A pleasant weekend

The kitchen was very well stocked, linens were clean and good quality. We enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be for more lighting as we are older adults who do needlework and crafts and need as much light as possible. Thank you, Mike for being a great host, easy to connect with and always a quick response.

Great stay with extended family!

This house is great for extended family with plenty of gathering places. The kitchen has a lot of amenities from a variety of serving dishes/utensils, etc. to plenty of pantry staples. The beds are very comfortable. It was a perfect location for an OSU graduation weekend.

The Family Gathering

The house was a wonderful surprise, very roomy and comfortable. The yard was perfect for being outside. The house provided everything needed from coffee maker to tp. I would rent this Verbo in a heart beat. Mike was always avaible to answer my question. Our experience mean our expectations

Wedding Weekend

Great place to stay. Very responsive to questions. We had a wedding for my son 2 miles away so this was a great place to stay; we live in CT. If you want to be close to anything in the NW section of C-bus, this is the place.
