Amazing 3 level chic upscale cabin-feel condo with wood burning fireplace in residential building. Unit is architecturally dramatic w vaulted tongue and grove ceilings, open beams, soaring two story windows w endless views. Sunrise to east on Rabbit Ears Pass, south view to Lake Catamount and nightly alpenglow to west. Warning: staring out windows all day while sipping cappuccino might distract you from skiing. But, if you are drawn to serenity, quiet, winter outdoor activities and events, great Steamboat dining and vibe, this might be the perfect spot for you to celebrate the holidays! Long stay allows you to arrive early and decorate for Christmas!
Main level has comfy leather couch w ottomans, recliner, dining area, kitchen w large adjacent pantry, powder room, twin pull down Murphy bed hidden in cabinet in nook beyond kitchen - great for a guest - and washer dryer in small laundry room. Large screen wall mounted TVs in living room, master and attic getaway.
Open loft master has king and loveseat w large ottoman, large tv on swing arm to see from couch or bed. Views!!! Room to move ottoman and set up temporary twin bed for child if needed. (twin folding frame and mattress in closet)
In full disclosure, this condo lives like a one bedroom and is represented as a one bedroom because open loft bedroom prevents privacy and allows to noise will flow from room to room. Best for single, couple or early risers.
Attic level is accessed only by a ladder with 200 lb weight max and requires careful use at renters risk. The attic area is fine for brief-stay overnight guests or getaway but not for continuous live-in use.
Building has Common Room w pool table, bar, comfy couches and large dining table near unit on same floor and usually empty.
Ski locker in lobby, elevator plus some stairs required to get to this 4th floor, west end unit. Car required to get to ski area. Unassigned outdoor parking. No shuttle service. Easy 10 minute, 6.7 mile drive to free skier lot. 7,4 miles to grocery store, Walmart, fast food, movies. 8 miles to downtown Steamboat shopping and restaurants.

Lifelong skier and finally got my dream - this beautiful condo two years ago in hopes of skiing full seasons in retirement. Unfortunately, injury prevents me from skiing at this time. That's why I'm hoping someone else can enjoy it over the holidays.
Guests can rely on being treated just as. I would hope to be treated as a guest and know that I will do everything possible to ensure that guests have a comfortable vacation housing experience that meets or exceeds their expectations.

Quiet, residential, stunning views. I chose this home as an ideal long stay vacation home for myself and my family to enjoy not just skiing but all that Steamboat has to offer year round in addition to all of the 'at home" comforts..
