Mountain Lodge 2 sovrum Good Slopeside / Village boende

Våra två sovrum, sover två badrum lägenhet upp till sex. I vardagsrummet finns en utdragbar drottning bäddsoffa och gott om sittplatser med en stor platt-TV. Köket är fullt utrustat för sex gäster med en fullständig kylskåp, intervall, mikrovågsugn och diskmaskin. Matsalen har plats för sex.

Det stora sovrummet med angränsande badrum är större än de flesta. Om har två stora fönster, en dubbelsäng, byrå, TV och en sittgrupp. Det andra sovrummet med bifogat bad har också en queen size-säng, byrå och TV. För spädbarn och små barn finns en pack och lek (utan sängkläder) och bordstol.

Observera Split Rock Pools i byn ägs av Snowshoe som tar ut en särskild avgift.

Skiing

We were supposed to check in at five, and that turned into six o’clock. The accommodations were ok, but not even close to being worth 1800 for 4 nights. The sinks in the bathrooms drained slow, and when showering you were standing in water bc the tubs didn’t drain well either. We just weren’t happy with what we got for the price!!!

Mountain Lodge Stay

The location of this condo makes access to the slopes very easy! It is about a 3-4 minute walk to the rental place and start of most slopes, a few are accessible right by the lodge. You do have to carry your skis for that walk unless you’re an avid cross country skier. There’s a great little food truck right outside of the lodge too (on the back slope side) that’s open from around 7-4. This mountain’s lifts close at 4 or 4:30 but there is night time skiing at Silver Creek & you can either drive or take a shuttle from the Village there. The two beds in the room off the back of the condo facing the parking lot were extremely comfortable with kind of like a pillow top mattress feel. The en suite bedroom with just one bed has an incredibly firm mattress that no one in my party liked. The kitchen had everything I needed for basic cooking but the range wasn’t functioning in peak condition, one of the burners didn’t work at all and the other large burner was incredibly slow to heat. Nonetheless, I was able to feed my hungry skiers! The comfy sectional sofa had plenty of room for three of us to lounge after a day of skiing & there was plenty of hot water on demand!

Great Location

You can’t get much closer to the lifts which is why we chose this unit. Interior is a bit small but nice and comfortable. There is also lots of nice common space to hang out in if you want to get out of the room. Family type place and was fairly quiet which was a plus. Building is dated but that’s not important to us, we were there to ski. Pretty much as advertised. Good communication with owner.

Convenient Slopeside Location

Great location for Slopeside skiing stay. Beds were uncomfortable and stove/oven did not work well, but convenient for skiing and accessing village! Not being able to control the heat and temperature in unit made 1st night uncomfortable, and then we had to keep the sliding door open and fans on to keep apartment comfortable temperature.

We loved our stay, but parking was a bit of an issue.

Was our first time staying in the village and we loved it. Only issue we had was parking when we arrived on Saturday night. There were no spaces available in the mountain lodge lot and the other option was 1 mile away at Top of the World, which was not practical. So I circled the lot for about 45 minutes and finally saw someone leave. I think everyone staying at mountain lodge should have access to at least one spot. Other than that, we enjoyed our trip very much!

Great location but needs a serious cleaning

Let’s start with the good. Great location! Short walk out the door to the slopes and close to the stairs for a true ski in ski out experience. And now the bad. The entire Mountain Lodge is dated and let’s just say less than clean throughout and our room was no different. Dirty carpets, dirty couches, pillows so stained they had plastic zip on pillow cases under the clean linens. Bathrooms and kitchen were fine overall. When the 15 yo boys noticed the dirt, I knew it was bad. Great location just clean it up! And buy a new couch!

UCI World Cup Stay

Condo was clean and as listed. Great weekend of bikes and friends. Temperature in condo was very warm during the day but got cooler at night. Portable ac unit was very helpful. Thanks for a good stay.

The condition of the property lacks serious attention

The condition of the property is in need of repair and a thorough cleaning, I doubt any COVID or general cleaning was done on the property. Upon arrival In between and under the cushions on the couch were cookie crumbs and under the couch was candy wrappers. One of the burners on the stove did not work. Wall paper is peeling in the bathrooms and the small bedroom bath, the towel rack is missing, with the clasp still in the wall. I'm not sure when the owner last checked on her property but this unit is in need of repair and is very dated. Lastly, whatever company she is using to clean the unit is not doing their job. I'm glad that we bought cleaning wipes to sanitize the unit. Needless to say my family was very disappointed and the cost was not worth the money we paid. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the bright side my family did enjoy some great skiing for four days
