Om boendet

You will never regret renting this lovely one bedroom apartment right on Long Sands Beach. Built in 2012, everything is still brand new! The deck, with it's unobstructed bold ocean front views will amaze you! Sit there and watch the sunrise over the Atlantic, walk across the street for fun in the sun all day, and then enjoy a glass of wine on the deck as you watch the sunset. This is such a wonderful setting to simply relax and enjoy all Maine has to offer. The unit features central air, cheerful kitchen and tons of windows to view the ocean. The glass enclosed deck allows you to sit and watch the waves splashing and the people strolling on the beach. The unit has one bedroom with a queen bed and a fold down futon in the living room. New kitchen and new bath means you do not have to worry about coming in to a rental only to find it is not updated and not clean. This unit is delightful! The house is conveniently located steps away from Long Sands General Store. Locally owned and operated, this is the gathering spot for your morning coffee, a great take out lunch or any last minute items you need for a picnic at the beach. Just a few more steps down the beach, enjoy a summer cocktail, light lunch or very nice dinner at the Stone's Throw Restaurant. Jump on the trolley or walk to downtown York Beach. There, you will find many more restaurants, bars, shopping, a great playground for the kids and York's Wild Kingdom. This is a zoo and small amusement park. Play mini-golf, ride the Carousel, see the animals and enjoy some cotton candy. There is a spiral staircase to access the apartment. Parking for one small car or small SUV only. Outdoor shower. We require a minimum stay of 7 nights during the summer and unfortunately, we do not accept pets. Finally, there is no smoking on the property, which means the balcony too. We appreciate your cooperation with this.

There is parking for 1 car, behind the house in-front of the spiral staircase. Reminder, the spiral staircase is the only access in and out of the 3rd floor apartment

Excellent location

Excellent location, amazing view, very clean and comfortable property. The only disadvantage is the 3 flights of circular metal stairs to reach the property and the tight parking space. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

If you are looking for a beach location, this is it! Directly across from the beach with a great porch for morning coffee and evening relaxing with a great view and sounds of the surf. The stairs are tricky but well worth the space!

We really enjoyed our stay! The owners were very friendly and helpful! The rental had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Loved the porch overlooking the ocean!

Maine getaway

Had a wonderful weekend. The apartment was in the best location right across from the beach. We loved the balcony! The apartment was clean and perfectly stocked. Owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Stairs were hard

Everything was great but the stairs were hard. Having to carry suitcases, groceries, etc for a weeks stay up the narrow spiral stairs was not enjoyable. Beautiful view from the front balcony. Owners live on property, were very friendly!

2nd Time Here

My daughter and I stayed here once before and brought my husband with us this time. Location is perfect, loved my morning beach walks and people watching from the balcony. Kitchen is well equipped and we always cooked breakfast and lunch there as well as dinner a couple nights. Bathroom is plenty big, shower head is nice. We had room for storage and my amateur photographer husband liked using the dining table for picture editing. Not far at all from Nubble light. Lobster Cove down the street has the best blueberry pie and Fox’s by the lighthouse has good food and great views. Thanks so much for letting us stay! Brian, Janet, and Caitlin

Perfect Little Spot for a quiet week away

My husband and I really enjoyed our week in Long Sands beach. From the lovely view every morning snd night on the deck to the great walks to restaurant and general store. I loved how everything was close by. Tom was very helpful with restaurant tips. Hope to be back again soon!

The view was fantastic from the third story deck. Tom and Bev were extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. I would definitely recommend this rental!

Beautiful relaxing beach property

This property was amazing and exceeded my expectations. The property was so warm and inviting and very clean. It had everything you could need for your stay. All the windows and especially the balcony overlooking the beach made for spectacular views of the ocean They are upfront about the stairs and I was wary at first but didn’t have a problem at all. It might be tough with young children you need to carry. We brought our 3 year old granddaughter, and with us close by she had no problem navigating the stairs by herself. The owners were great and were there if you needed anything. I would highly recommend this property, it was fantastic!!!

Great rental on the beach

We had a great time. The view is amazing. We slept on futon in livingroom so we could be right next to the slider and smell the ocean air. The General Store is next door and it was nice sitting on the deck people watching. The condo was very clean. Hosts were really nice. Will definitely book again!

All you need

Beautiful and quaint place. Location is perfect. As the listing states, the beach is ride across the street and only a short walk from downtown York. Owners are incredibly friendly and offered some of their own beach items for us to use.

Beautiful location, lovely apartment! Wonderful watching the ocean right from the deck! But best be able to do the spiral staircase up to the 3rd floor, keeps you in shape!! Would love to stay again!

Very nice if you don’t mind the stairs.

The location was great and the property was very nice with a beautiful view and great balcony. There is a spiral staircase that goes to the apartment, so if you are afraid of heights or have mobility issues, it would probably be best to avoid. We used a couple of small suitcases instead of one large one and I don’t think there is any way we would have gotten our large one up the steps. Parking is also pretty tight. We have a jeep Cherokee and I think anything larger would have been difficult to park. If you are ok with the spiral stairs and aren’t traveling in a large vehicle, it is a very nice property.
