We really enjoyed our stay! The decor of the house is so cute and the beds were very comfortable. The location cannot be beat as it is just barely off the seawall, and close to a crosswalk so you can cross safely. We really appreciated the availability of the wagon, umbrella, and sand toys. The hot tub and game room were also greatly enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we needed for all meals at home and it was nice that there was laundry detergent provided (even though I decided to let laundry be an âat home problemâ. There was a slight musty smell in the downstairs bedroom (but thatâs to be expected in a place that has flooded and expects to flood again) that improved with air circulation from the fan and AC. The key situation is a bit frustrating and the âkeyless entryâ isnât keyless at all but once we finally got in the house everything was great (a few key labels would go a long way!). I used to live in Galveston and know how hard pest control can be, so I really appreciated the obvious effort that must go in to keeping this home almost entirely bug free (only saw two in the unfinished game room over three days, none in the climate controlled areas of the home or even outside after dark). Overall excellent stay and would happily return!
