En bekväm och elegant självhushåll med 2 sovrum för 4 personer som är både lugn och avkopplande. Det ligger nära några av Kapstadens bästa vinodlingar i Constantia. Den vackra stranden och hamnen ligger bara 3 km bort medan V & A och centrum bara 20 minuters bilresa bort. Det är anslutet till huvudhuset och har en egen privat ingång, veranda och braai (grill) område. Säker parkering på plats. Gästerna är välkomna att använda den fantastiska poolen eller smutta på cocktails på skrivbordet medan de tittar på havet och solnedgången. Det är en 10 minuters promenad till stranden, kollektivtrafik, restauranger och butiker.

Stunning views, clean & quiet

We very much enjoyed our stay with Michelle at her beautiful home tucked onto the mountainside. The moment you enter her gate her sweet dog, Blu, is there to greet you. The two bedroom is attached to Michelle’s house and has its own entrance, kitchen and bathroom making it very private and secure. The backyard and pool sit with dramatic mountain views and views of Hout’s Bay. Michelle was there to answer all of our questions but at the same time gave us plenty of space and privacy. We would highly recommend a trip to Hout’s Bay Market on Friday night - great food, music and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would come back again in a heartbeat. Gillade: Renlighet, incheckning, kommunikation, plats och annonsens riktighet

Beautiful Views, Great Location, Lovely Apartment

We had a very nice experience during our 4 night stay. The host was very easy to communicate with and accommodating of our arrival and departure schedule. The apartment has two clean, well appointed bedrooms and a full bathroom. The kitchen facilities are somewhat limited (two countertop burners, no oven, small fridge), but this was irrelevant to us as we had no plans to cook. One of the bedrooms has access to the backyard which has beautiful views of Hout Bay. The walk from the apartment into town was an easy ~10 minutes downhill (we never did the walk back up since we would typically come back late from our activities/dining and were in an Uber; I imagine the walk back-up might have been more difficult due to the uphill). The wi-fi worked well and we appreciated it was on a small generator so would still work during the daily power outages (an issue related to the S. Africa power infrastructure - not related to the apartment). There are several lovely places to explore in Hout Bay and the majority of it can be traversed on foot if you're not adverse to some walking. We would stay again if we came back.

A fabulous place to relax and enjoy a lovely break

We had a wonderful time here in Hout Bay. The property was itself was very quiet and relaxing with lovely gardens, views and pool, but near to the centre of Hout Bay with its great beach and restuarants. The property had everything we needed and there was a lovely powerful shower. The Host, Michelle was very welcoming-she even waited up for us when we arrived after midnight from a late flight. A special mention must go to Blu the dog who is very friendly but very polite! We would happily return and can recommend this as a great place to stay. Thank you, Mary and Geoff

Beautiful Stoneyview

From the moment we arrived at Stoneyview Michelle made us feel really welcome as did her dog Blue who greeted us each morning and welcomed us in the driveway after we had been out for the day. Michelle even left a bottle of wine and some sweets for our first evening in the cottage. She provided us with lots of useful information about local restaraunts and shops and was easily contactable for any queries we might have. We had a wonderful relaxing staying at the property, which is really peaceful. The accomodation itself was extremely comfortable and clean with decor in keeping with the setting. All the amenities we needed to make meals were available. Michelle even arranged for our clothes to be washed and hung out to dry on the Monday after we arrived. She also provided lots of interesting books to read both fiction and non-fiction and some games to play, which were very useful on the one or two rainy days during our stay. There is an area to sit outside to have breakfast and a beautiful decking area around the swimming pool with sunloungers and outdoor furniture, which has magnificent views over Hout Bay. There is also a shaded area in the garden with a hammock and table and chairs, where we were able to cool off and have a relaxing lunch. The property is within walking distance of the local shops and restaraunts and the beach, although it is a steep walk up the hill back, so we tended to drive however this would be doable in an Uber also. Stoneyview is in a great position to get to Chapman's Peak Drive, Constantia wine estates and Kirstenbosch and many other places besides. If you didn't have a car I believe it would be fairly easy to get around on the red hop on hop off buses. We had an amazing stay at Stoneyview and thanks so much Michelle for making our time at your place so memorable and for your fantastic hospitality, we would definitely stay at Stoneyview again if we came back to Capetown, many thanks Adrienne and Lionel.

I love travelling. I work both in academia and consult to organisations. I work from home. I am South African and lived most of my life in Cape Town - which is the best city. I love movies, music, keep fit by running on the mountains with my dog.

Beautiful views of mountain and Sea from the main deck. Very relaxing and peaceful environment. There are lots of quirky statues in the garden. I have a friendly border collie dog that loves people.

From the pool can see the mountains. From the main deck, there is a beautiful sea view to sit and watch the sunset. These are all in the shared space of the garden. Have your own private patio where there is a pond with fish and frogs.
