Detta är en fin liten stuga med ett fullt lager kök. Det finns en queen size-säng på loftet. Det finns två bäddsoffor i vardagsrummet som rymmer 2 personer.

Detta är en perfekt plats för en grupp från 3 till 4 personer som vill bo i närheten av Stevens Pass.

Nice little cabin, good for activities around the area

Everything stated in others’ reviews for this property is pretty accurate. This cabin is best described as a good place to “crash” for the night after doing activities all within a 20-30 min drive. Kind of like “glamping”. (Glamorous camping.. haha) The location was easy to find with lots of outdoor activities within a 20-30 min drive. The AC worked great while we were there. Only one fan to drive the cold air upstairs (we brought another fan to circulate the air upstairs. Worked really well!) Yes, you shouldn’t drink the tap water. It’s advertised as having a water cooler stocked, but it was not. There was maybe a gallon of water left for our 3 night stay. We anticipated this might happen due to others’ reviews, and brought our own water (weather was in the 90’s+ while we were there for our 3 night stay). It worked out great! The kitchen had basic utensils to make basic meals with one pot and pan. plenty of plates/bowls/cups. No dishwasher, and you’ll have to wash your dishes on checkout. There is a grill (that needs cleaning before use) and a fire pit all on the back deck. Bring your own games/entertainment. There are a handful of old movies to watch on Blu-ray. For being out in the sticks, there weren’t a whole lot of bugs/rodents in the house. The not so good: no washer/dryer in the unit. No drying rack (it’s okay, we put our we’re clothes on the banister outside and they dried quickly in the summer), WiFi is incredibly slow but you can use cellular data. Reception is pretty good. No real dining area. No outdoor seating. Sheets were pretty clean - some pet hair here and there. Everything else was great! Would come here again to check out Leavenworth, all the hikes, Lake Wenatchee, Stevens Pass, etc. Thanks!

Nice place

It was just as a the discription said. It's a nice place to stay. We were surprised to see two restaurants near by, both were within walking distance.

Nice cabin with the feeling of in the woods but main road just 1 min away

Cozy and nice place to stay with family. On the first floor there are two sofabeds, the kitchen area and the bathroom. In the second floor there is a bed for 2 and a sofabed. 20ish minutes from Stevens Pass and 30is from Leavenworth. They have bottle water dispenser for drinking and cooking and the well water runs fine for everything else. We enjoyed our stay and want to come back.

Great Location

As mentioned in other reviews, this is a very simple property with just enough to make your stay a comfortable one. The biggest frustration we had was that there was no water provided as the owner had described. The kitchen is decently stocked, but a little random (espresso machine, but no hot pads?), so be prepared to bring any must-have kitchen tools. Overall though, the house was warm and comfortable and we loved its proximity to Lake Wenatchee. A great place to relax after playing in the snow.

Good location

The cabin was adequate for us, close proximity to winter sports activities. Could use some refreshing ie better utensils, boot tray by front door as well as coat hooks. Otherwise, was a good stay.

Close to where we like to play in the snow. Simple and cozy, just right for us. Owner was responsive and provided all the information we needed for our visit.

Comfortable Stay - Had everything we needed!

Convenient location right at crossroads - 5 mins to Lake Wenatchee Recreation and short drive to downtown Leavenworth. Well stocked kitchen and property had everything we needed. Nice deck on back with new gas grill for cooking. Very enjoyable and comfortable stay!

Lovely back deck for summer evenings

Great location with easy access and parking (even in the winter). Clean and had everything we needed to be "home base" after spending our days on nearby Lake Wenatchee. Good communication with Kumar - helpful and prompt.

Excellent location

It was the perfect place to crash after a day of skiing at Steven's and dinner in Leavenworth. Kumar was great and accommodating.

Fairly pleased

Property had everything we needed but drinking water. The landlord said water was provided, but when we got there we discovered a water dispenser that was only 1/4 of the way full. We had to go to the store to buy drinking water.

Perfect for what we needed

My experience

Well when we got there it was so dark we drove past the place, no light on for us, no driveway light. When we got in they told us to use the water dispenser for drinking, but left us a near empty water jug, that was not gonna last for 5 people even an hour, so had to drive to gas station to get 2 gallons of water. The stair ledge at top stair had nails or staples sticking out of it because the trip piece was half broken off. They gave us literally 4 towels for 5 people this included wash rags and hand towels. No kitchen towels. I would definitely not stay again unless it was the last place for 100 miles and in that case I would just drive home.

Family Vacation in Leavenworth

It has potentail but there are some bugs to work out.

I don't normally write bad reviews but I couldn't let this one go... There are rodents in the walls, we found some feces in the cupboards and in the pull out sofa there was insulation which had been pulled for a nest which has feces in the bundle showing that it has been used by rodents. There was a hole above the shower which looks to be used as an access point for varmints as well. Once we shoved a towel in the hole we started hearing animals in the wall trying to get out. Secondary to the rodent/pest issue the cabin just wasn't well stocked. there were missing items in the kitchen and the drinking water jug was empty. there were three gallons of store bought water in the fridge but that wasn't enough for 5 people for 3 days. We had to buy a few more gallons to get us through our stay. With some attention to detail and pest control this could be a nice little place but it needs some work before I would recommend it.

Basic cabin with a convenient location

The cabin had everything we needed and was in a good location close to the highway. Since it's on a well system the water is brown and murky looking so just don't expect to take any baths while you're there. Keypad entry on the door was also very nice for coming/leaving on our own time.

Fun cabin experience.

We stayed in this cabin for a wedding at the nearby Brown Family homestead. Great location for that and nearby hiking and an easy drive into Leavenworth. Also around the corner from gas station and restaurants- but feels secluded. This is certainly a cabin- so a little rough around the edges (forest bugs, hole in the wall) but very clean and comfortable otherwise. Of note, this cabin is quite close to the train tracks. We had the screened windows open as it was summer and the trains are not as loud with them closed. Beautiful trees surrounding the cabin. Owner was very responsive and helpful!

Perfectly nice, but no wifi or drinking water

This is a perfectly nice place to stay with a bed and two couches, but it should be known that there is no wifi and we were told by the owner to bring our own drinking water. I have Sprint as my cell carrier, and also had no service at the home. My friends (AT&T and Verizon) did have service, however.

Cabin tucked off Hwy 2

Icicle hut is located just behind the Squirrel Tree Restaurant off Hwy 2. This cabin has all amenities needed. Bed upstairs was comfortable!! A/C was nice. Bring your own drinking water. The well water is not recommended to drink. You can walk to the convienent store and restaurant. Short 15-20 min drive to town of Leavenworth. No neighbors.

Cozy cabin in great location!

Great location if you plan on skiing at Steven's Pass and visitng Leavenworth! 5 adults fit comfortably and the heating made it super cozy on a cold day. I definitely recommend staying here and will look into staying here again on my next visit.
