Vackra nya Lakefront Home på Smith Mountain Lake.

Detta hem byggdes 2007. Det är 4000 kvadratmeter, på mer än .75 hektar. Det stora sovrummet ligger på bottenvåningen med en king size-säng, platt-TV och franska dörrar som leder till ett stort täckt sjö. Befälhavaren badet har en 5-fot by 5-fots dusch med 2 duschhuvuden, ett jacuzzi-badkar och en dubbla handfat fåfänga. De andra 2 sovrummen ligger på andra våningen och har vardera sitt eget privata badrum. Det finns också ett privat soldäck på andra våningen. Bottenvåningen har en öppen design med ett stort vardagsrum / matsal utanför det fullt utrustade köket, inklusive en full storlek kylskåp, intervall / ugn, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn och en frukostbar. Det finns också en mixer, crock potten, brödrost och kaffebryggare. Köket ligger bredvid den stora sjösidan och har en stor rostfri grill och uteservering för att äta eller koppla av med en kall drink.
Det finns en träbyggd gångväg som leder till den täckta båtbryggan med el, ljus, förvaring och en stor solterrass / festdäck på toppen.

Excellent home on a beautiful cove.

The home was great, just as in photos. The dock area was beautiful on a nice quiet cove. The owner's were very responsive to any questions we had.

Serene Vacation and Beautiful home

this is a beautiful home on Smith Mountain Lake. The home was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The walk down to the lake was good. The dock was nice. I love that they allow dogs. The bed and the master bedroom was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful location

We loved the location of the house, lush nature, the lake view, the specious deck and the dock. It would be nice if there is a floating deck for getting in and out of the kayaks easier, but we made it work. We spent most of the time outside. My husband, a very tall men loved the big shower, I needed a little bit more lighting, I guess it comes with age. Overall, we enjoyed the place.

My husband, adult daughters and I had a wonderful stay at Gillum’s Getaway! The house was beautiful, spacious, and well equipped. If we weren’t on the lake, we were often on the back deck which overlooks the peaceful lake. We often spotted deer in the neighborhood! We weren’t there for the weekend, but our Sunday through Friday stay was amazing!

Beautiful and large, accommodating Lake house!

We had a wonderful time at this lake house with my family! The house had everything we needed and more. Really enjoyed the Jacuzzi tubs inside as well as the lake. The ladder from dock isn’t long enough, so can be a core challenge getting out of the water, if water level low. The power company regulates the level, so beyond owners control. The 2 level dock is amazing with both levels and such pretty sunset views. We loved Mitchell’s Marina w restaurant and live music only 2 miles away. Would love to come back to this house while we still can. Such a beautiful and peaceful setting. And the water is so clean, one can see 6 feet below.

SML Fun!

Another great stay! House is located on a quiet cove that is great for some fishing and dock chilling! The covered porch area provides a nice spot to relax even with a little rain. Hosts were wonderful and the house continues to be a great fit for our family! Looking forward to our next visit.

Lakeside Home is lovely!

Would highly recommend. Lots of room, lots of kitchen equipment! We weren’t that familiar with the TV system, but eventually figured it out enough to watch the 2024 NCAA final games.👍

Summer vacation

The house is beautiful. Everything you need to feel at home and be comfortable is there. The dock is a great place to sunbathe, swim or fish. The view is great. Nice, quiet neighborhood with deer grazing on the lawn. It was a great place for our family vacation.

The perfect house for our family!

The home was very spacious with everything we needed to have a great family vacation! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen also was well stocked with everything we needed, including a traditional coffee machine and Keurig. It was also nice to have a dock where we could store the boat we rented under cover. We just loved our week in this beautiful home. Thank you!

SML Getaway

Very nice home and dock at the lake with great views. Well stocked with everything we needed and lots of room! Family room furniture needs updating. One step on the way down to the dock with a hole in the corner is unsafe and needs replacement. The grill was hard to clean.

The perfect location for a fall getaway.

Fall at SML (Smith Mountain Lake) is amazing. Lots of hiking, history, wine tasting, brilliant sunsets and cozy evenings by the fire. This house provides access to all and more. It was the perfect launching pad for adventure and a welcome site at the end of a busy day. The cove is quiet (especially in fall).

Perfect house and location for relaxing

The house dock is a perfect place for sunning and relaxing. The beds we’re comfortable and the layout of the house gave everyone privacy. The rooms are large with a well stocked kitchen. The decks were great for morning coffee and dinner. Would definitely come back.

Annual Guy's weekend

Every year a group of friends from college get together for a long weekend at the beach. This year we decided to change it up and opted for a house on SML. We could not have been happier with our decision. The house, location and amenities were absolutely perfect for our group of 6 "40 somethings". We are likely to ditch the sand and salt for freshwater and luxury living for the foreseeable future.

Down time

We had a great week relaxing by the water, kayaking, fishing, floating on tibes, laying on the deck watching stars, and cooking out as a family. The house had everything we needed to do a whole lot of nothing. It was our second visit and we will be back.

My wife and I had this house custom built in 2007 with plans to retire here in the not too distant future. In the meantime, we rent it out year-round so that others can enjoy the lake as much as we do.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This is an ideal property to rent because the slope to the water is not very steep and fairly easy to walk for older guests.
The location is on the lower end of the lake close to the Dam so the water is deep and clear.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

We love the enormous amount of deck space that faces the lake. Two decks and a lower patio off of the rec room/ poolroom the has an HD flatscreen TV, exercise equipment, and a pool 9-foot regulation Brunswick pool table. There is a pub table for having drinks, playing cards or board games.
There is also a full length of the house front deck that catches all that beautiful morning sun.
