Zilker neighborhood is highly sought after neighborhood due to it's proximity to Zilker Park and Downtown - while staying true to it's South Austin roots. It's walking distance to S Lamar, S 1st, and S Congress for great restaurants, cafes, bars, shops. Take a dip in Barton Springs Pool, rent kayaks and stand up paddle boards on Lady Bird Lake, or take a walk or bike around the trail. Alamo Drafthouse is in walking distance if you want to catch food with a movie, or walk to Saxon Pub for great live music. Too many great restaurants and coffee shops to name, just ask if you'd like some recommendations!

Plenty of parking at the house if you have a vehicle. Very walkable/bikeable neighborhood. Uber/Lyft/Scooters are plentiful. Nearest Cap metro bus stops are located along S Lamar which is 1-2 blocks away.

The owners have put a lot of thought and care into their home, please treat it as if it were your own. They also still come stay sporadically.
