Pool was dirty and not heated
The day we arrived we realized the pool we payed extra to heat, was not heated. I called the service line, their response was "the weather being below 55' will affect how warm your pool is." The next day the pool and hot tub were ice cold. I called, emailed and the response was " we'll send someone to look at it in 24 hours." Later that day I walked outside to see the heater pump said service on it. I emailed the company with a picture of the pump. They responded but saying they already sent someone out and they sent a picture of a guy reading the spa temperature at 85. Complete lie. The heat pump outside said the temperature of both the pool and spa were at 80. Once again I emailed. Their response was "it says here you didn't pay for a heated pool if you pay another 150 we'll heat it for you." We said yes we paid but it was 250. And they said oops yeah you're right. "We'll send someone out in 24 hours to fix it."
We went to Disney for two days. Thought it was fixed. We're home Thursday. Pool is ice cold, spa is ice cold. Email again
This time I'm done. Just pay me my money back and we'll call it over. "We do not refund for a cold wave rolling through Florida"
I walked outside to the heater pump it says five alarms, needs serviced. Emailed again said the heater pump is broken, I will not pay for a service I didn't receive. I need to talk to a manager. Manager says, "I have to send this to accounting before you can get a refund"
We left today. Anyways if you're a renter and interested in an ice cold pool and a hot tub that is only 80 degrees this house is for you.
The pool was filthy, full of hair and bugs.
The house was clean, but tacky. The microwave handle was duct taped on. The sinks didn't drain. The dryer didn't dry. All of which were not complete deal breakers. But if you're like us, traveling 16 hours to Florida from a cold state, the entire reason for renting this specific house was the pool and spa. My entire family was disappointed. From the second we arrived to the second we left all we heard was excuse after excuse. And even after I resigned to the fact that I wouldn't get a warm pool and I just wanted my money returned they still think nothing's wrong, or I'm making it up. Either way, don't waste your hard earned money on this place.
