Casa Dunia, vår vackra, oceanfront, två våningar hem, är idealiskt beläget i den privata förening av Rancho San Eric. Egenskapen är en dold pärla, undanstoppad i den lugna delen av Tulums banade del av strandvägen, cirka 200 meter från ingången till naturreservatet Sian Ka'an. Vi har verkligen bäst av båda orden - bort från trängseln i Tulums trånga del av stranden, men nära nog att enkelt gå, cykla eller köra till restauranger, barer och affärer när trängsel träffar!

Huset är perfekt för familjesammankomster eller grupper, med gott om gemensamma utrymmen att lounge, koppla av och kommunicera, för att inte tala om kocktjänsten ingår för frukost och middag, så du behöver inte oroa dig för måltidsplanering eller shopping för gruppen (gäster betalar för all mat och en inköpskostnad på 120 USD / vecka).

Det rymliga, men ändå intima hemmet sitter ovanpå den första sanddynen med utsikt över det turkiska vattnet i Karibiska havet ... du kan bokstavligen stiga ut dörren till vardagsrummet på den mjuka vita sanden. Casa Dunia sover bekvämt upp till 11 gäster i två bottenvåningen sovrum, två sovrum på övervåningen och en på övervåningen familj svit. Alla rum har king size-sängar, eget badrum, kassaskåp på rummet och luftkonditionering enheter (som endast fungerar på natten, från 8:00 till 8:00). Familjen sviten i översta våningen har också en extra soffa som kan bestå som en enkelsäng på begäran.

Casa Dunias öppna och luftiga bostadsutrymmen bjuder gästerna att koppla av och samla, och erbjuder formell inomhusmatsal för 10 och ett bekvämt vardagsrum som öppnar ut mot hemets vita sandterrass med fantastisk havsutsikt. Loungen på soffor eller hängmatta under palmerna, njut av lite sol på schäslongarna eller äta utomhus på 12-sitsens matbord medan du tittar på surfrullen i.

Om havet är för grovt, hoppa in i poolen på djungelsidan av huset. (pool delas med gäster i närliggande hem).

Hemmet har ett professionellt kök, avskärmad från vardagsrummet av ett färskvattenakvarium. Den har en vacker naturlig trä ö, 6-brännare gasspis, platt topp, ugn, och är fullt utrustad.

För en stund har Casa Dunia också ett litet "spelhörn" med fotbollsplan, brädspel och ett utlåningsbibliotek av paperbacks.

A Perfect Big Family Vacation In Tulum

Our family of 10 had the most wonderful vacation at this amazing home! Juan and Mateo took incredible care of us while we were there, the chef service was amazing and we ended up eating two meals a day outside on the big table overlooking the ocean. The food was absolutely spectacular! They also kept the house so clean with fresh beach towels daily. While they worked diligently the entire stay, they were predictable with times and welcoming to us all! This house is perfect for a big family and we were there celebrating my mother's birthday with her 5 grandchildren and my sister's family! She loved it all and they made the night extra special! The house fit our group perfectly, everyone was happy. It is a dreamy property right on the beach. It is in a quieter section of Tulum which we appreciated. We saw turtles nightly which was very exciting. All around one of our best vacations yet! Thank you Hui and Stefan for a lovely stay! We sure hope to return!

Paradise in Tulum!

We had the most wonderful experience staying at casa dunia! Hui and Stefan were so communicative prior and during our stay. Juan and Matteo who made all of our meals and cleaned the property were the sweetest and always looked after us with the most care imaginable. The house is right on the ocean and we were able to experience baby turtles hatching (!), lots of relaxation, and the most delicious meals! It was such a treat staying here!

Amazing staff!

The location is perfect, just close enough to the town but still in a private secluded area. The house is beautiful and has great access to the beach. It's very safe with all of the security they have. Mateo and Juan are the house caretakers and chefs. They are the nicest guys and the food was top notch! By far our favorite place to eat. The owners are also so nice and helpful and truly want you to have the best experience. I would definitely stay here again!

Incredible house with outstandig service!

We had a great Stay at Casa Dunia, the house is beautiful, in great conditions, súper comfortable! The sea view is amazing and you can enjoy the sea within a Few steps away. The best of the house: the service! Mitch, Mateo and Juan! They are the stars! Everything was perfect, the food, the cleaning and the fact they always made us feel at Home! We’ll be back for sure.

Perfect getaway!

We stayed at Casa Dunia with my family that ranged from 1 year old to 60+ years old. It was the perfect property to fit all of our different needs. The communication with Stefan and Hui before and during our stay was easy and prompt. The resources they provided us with for tours, drivers, activities, etc made our time in Tulum extra special. Having a chef and house staff allowed for us to truly relax and enjoy our time together. The meals were excellent and exactly as requested! All of us said that if/when we return to Tulum we will choose to stay at Casa Dunia again.

Family Vacation

We had such a great time at Casa Dunia. The property and service was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations all around. Stefan and Hui were both so helpful in helping us get ready for our trip and quickly answered any questions we had before we got there and while we were there. The cleaning, cooking and security staff were awesome! Juan and Mateo were the best! We had them cook breakfast and dinner every day and it was amazing! We felt super safe at all times on the property. We had such an amazing time and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Tulum.

Perfect Location and Exceptional Service

Casa Dunia exceeded all of our expectations in every way! Stefan and Hui were prompt and courteous in all communication leading up to our visit and were both very helpful during our planning phase AND for the length of our stay. They helped us schedule transportation and answered questions about nearby venues. Juan and Mateo were nothing short of amazing!!! They prepared phenomenal meals and kept the house majestically clean the entire time we were there. We felt extremely safe at Casa Dunia, as they provide private security for the property. I recommend this location to anyone planning a trip to Tulum. We certainly hope to return!!

zen paradise

better than i could have imagined in every way possible. juan and matteo cooked us the most delicious meals and seamlessly moved in and out of our group. it was an entirely different level of luxury to not have to worry about groceries, dishes, or cooking/cleaning while at a vacation rental. the pool out back and beach out front puts casia dunia squarely in the middle of the most heavenly slice of paradise on beach road. it is quieter and less in the thick of it with regard to restaurants and bars but that was a part of its charm. would/will return asap!!!

A Slice of Paradise!

A true vacation in every way! My wife and I took our two children and their families for a week vacation at Casa Dunia in Tulum and it was amazing. The property was even more lovely than the pictures we saw online. Our every need and want was met by the awesome house staff and our hosts Stephan and his wife Hui. Our chefs and house staff prepared phenomenal meals daily and kept the house very well maintained despite our two young grandchildren. The lovely beach just a few steps from the door was raked and cleaned daily for our enjoyment. The children (and adults) also enjoyed the nice swimming pool on the property. This was truly a dream vacation that I can highly recommend to anyone. Looking forward to a return visit next year with our two new grandchildren soon to arrive!!

Casa Dunia is paradise

Our extended family (ages 1.5 to 75!) just spent a blissful week at Casa Dunia. We could not recommend this property more highly.The owners, Hui and Stefan, have done everything just right. The house is beautiful, the pool is lovely, the beach is amazing, the grounds lush and expansive. They were both available and highly responsive to any of our questions or needs, and provided us with great insider tips to the area. The staff who are on hand to clean and cook incredible meals as desired, is discreet, kind and delightful. Despite having 5 spirited young children in tow, the adults in our group were actually able to rest and relax! This is thanks to the incredible layout of the house and grounds which allow children to explore independently, while parents can still keep a watchful eye...We are planning to return in 3 months time and we can't wait!

I cannot say enough good things about Casa Dunia and all of the wonderful people involved in making this home a truly special place to gather for an unforgettable vacation experience. The property is just a dream - a beautiful home with tons of charm, so many different areas to gather and an unbeatable private beachfront. As others have said, the staff who take care of the home and guests are a part of what makes Casa Dunia so amazing - Mateo, Juan and Fredy are a joy to be around and made THE BEST FOOD! They thought of every detail and made our trip feel so special. Wonderful home right on the beach!

Casa Dunia is a beautiful home with 5 king bedrooms all with private baths. It sits on the end of the Tulum road in Rancho San Eric. The home is wonderfully appointed and located on a gorgeous private stretch of sandy beach. There is also a clean pool in the front that sits under the blowing palms. Every morning a full breakfast of fresh fruit and either eggs, pancakes or Mexican breakfast specialties is provided. Housekeeping is done everyday, sheets and towels every other day. A fabulous chef can be hired for dinners, he is very talented. We ate in 4 out of 7 evenings and the food was fresh and delicious. Hui and Stefan are wonderful and very attentive. We were a family of 5 adults and 2 small children, we had extra room! I would suggest this for families or adults, we will definitely return!

Casa Dunia could not have been better

Casa Dunia was the perfect blend of beauty, comfort, and attention to detail for our much-anticipated post-vaccination family gathering. Stefan and Hui were fantastic hosts - both leading up to and during our stay - with very clear, prompt communications. Their seasoned and talented staff were so warm and accommodating and made all of us feel comfortable. We are a family of cooks, and expected to prepare most of our own meals...we didn't end up preparing a single one as everything was so well done. The house itself is perfectly situated far enough away from the din of Tulum playa, yet we could reach some of our favorite restaurants or bars with a few minute's walk. We were 3 couples, one single adult, and one family with 2 small children - each party had a large spacious room, ensuite bathroom, A/C at night. What we considered a pretty significant stretch to our budget ended up being so worth it, and we will never forget our family time together nor the hospitality of Mateo, Juan, Fredy, and our hosts, Stefan and Hui.

One word...AMAZING.

Where do I even start? If you are going to Tulum with a group, this is the perfect place. The house and the location are fantastic. But that comes in a distant second to the staff! I had read other reviews about the food and the service, but I just had no idea what we were in for! Juan, Matteo, and Freddie cooked the most amazing meals, cleaned every morning and evening and were just the nicest guys. We never ate out because we didn't want to miss out on their cooking! It never disappointed. They even had a cake for me to celebrate my birthday! Additionally, Stefan was incredible as well. He was there when we arrived to show us the house and was in constant communication the whole time! After staying here, I'm not sure any future house could live up to this experience! I can't wait to come back!

A stay in Paradise

We went with my 4 kids and my parents to Casa Dunia for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful experience. The property is located at the end of the Tulum Hotel Area, witch is a popular destination but no the best scenery for kids. You get to enjoy the wonderful beach that somedays is calm like a lake and others, depending on the wind, is great for bodyboard and kitesurf. You can walk to the best restaurants in town (better and nicer to do it by the beach!) but you are not stuck in the middle of the many hotels that are in the coastline. That being said... You probably are going to preferred to stay in and enjoy the most amazing food in the area. The most remarkable asset of Casa Diuna is the service and his host, Stefan. Juan, Matteo, Oswaldo, Fredy and Jorge will take care of everything you will possible need, from cleaning, cooking amazing foods and grocery shopping. Stefan is the nicest of host, always on top of things to make the experience at Casa Diuna unforgettable. The house is immaculate with very comfortable and well decored 5 ensuite queen bedrooms and spacious and comfortable community areas but as I said before what truly makes a difference in the whole experience is the great crew that will pampered you like a true king. Thank you Stefan for a magical experience!

Amazing Trip!

What a fantastic house! 10 of us (6 adults, 4 kids) stayed at Casa Dunia over spring break, and it was such an amazing and memorable trip! The house itself has been very newly renovated, and the rooms are beautiful, modern, and immaculate. Having the option of AC in the bedrooms at night was very important to me, and made for comfortable sleeping conditions. The outdoor table was perfect for dining al fresco, and we also used it for "games night" after the kids went to bed! Juan and Mateo kept the place in great order sweeping and making the beds each day and raking the seaweed (Tulum had a couple days of heavier seaweed and then it cleared up for the rest of the week- they did a great job staying on top of it) Stefan and Hui were gracious hosts and breakfast (included daily) was fantastic: highlights for me were the fresh squeezed orange or papaya juice, and one morning Stefan even made us Cochinita Pibil (pork) Tacos that were literally to die for! We only had dinner at the house one night, but wished we had done it again as the food was spectacular! The large pool is directly behind the house, and even better than the pictures. Although it is shared with the houses next door, we never had another soul in the pool with us! The beach was very private and ideal. Great wave riding! My husband and I swam out to the reef (~400m) from the house on a more flat day, and enjoyed some of the best snorkeling we have ever seen! (we're stronger swimmers) We also rented bikes from the hotel next door (Rosa Del Viento) and biked everywhere! The house is only a 10 minute bike ride to some of the best restaurants in Tulum including Hartwood (fantastic, but get a reservation days in advance or show up at 5:30 and hope to walk in) Casa Banana, (Argentinian Steak House) La Zebra (we went for the free Salsa lessons/ live band on Sunday night- so much fun!) The Real Coconut (organic juices and smoothies etc) Taqueria Eufemia, and Origami for Gelato! I also enjoyed riding to Sanara for Yoga one morning. If you're into yoga, their beach front studio can not be missed! Also, less than a 5 minute bike ride up the road is Yaan Wellness, and it was truly the best spa experience I have ever had. Other day trips from the house that we enjoyed were visiting Gran Cenote- crystal clear blue water and some caves to explore with snorkels, and Muyil- 30 minute cab ride to see ruins there and then hire a boat from their dock to do a lazy river float down the canal! We will be back soon!

Spring Break

The house was perfect! The food that was prepared was over the top. Also fly fished each day and brought back some fish that the team prepared for us. Was a great trip!

Perfection!

Stefan was an amazing host and the property is even better than described in pictures. Stefan was very responsive and helpful, and the chefs made amazing food! The property is very safe and secluded with everything you could want in a beach vacation. The house was cleaned daily, and having meals cooked was a great extra touch. Would highly recommend staying at Casa Dunia!

Ranked as One of My Best Vacations and Experiences yet!

I couldn't recommend this property and its wonderful hosts and staff more! From start to finish Stefan, Hui and their team made sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. The property itself is absolutely stunning - full of light, sweeping views of the water, and plenty of cozy nooks to soak in the tropical environment or curl up to relax. We experienced some storms while we were there and still felt cozy and at home, with the many doors open to let in the scent of fresh rain and our always stocked kitchen keeping us happy and full (every single prepared meal was absolutely fantastic). We all felt safe and comfortable with each member of the staff and very well looked after. Even after check-out Stefan was gracious and helpful in getting the varied members of group off to their next destination. This really is a wonderfully beautiful spot with hosts that are warm, communicative, and helpful. I want to go back every year!
