Loved. Had all the Moana fixings to make this a cozy stay - coconut trees, Pua’s next door, Hei Hei’s running amuck in the neighborhood, geckos decorating the property and your parked car, so cute!It had all working amenities: shower, fans, lights, sinks, washer and dryer. It does get greenhouse effect hot during the day, but then again why would you want to be here indoors during the day? We had to because our Merrie Monarch activities were late in the evening and we rested midday.Host provided everything necessary to make it a complete stay: towels, cookware and silverware, clean bedding, TV w/Roku (we watched Hulu easily), carport, all the liquids for the home from bath to hand soap to dishwashing and laundry, lawn chairs, extra garbage bags, cleaning supplies. Two small detail lacking: baking cookware so we couldn’t utilize the oven, and no microwave. But nice touches were coffee pot and ice trays. Tap water was tasty.Super easy route to Hilo, essentially just a single turn onto Kahakai with a couple slight merges onto the main roads to get to town. Even better, it’s just a turn in the opposite direction onto Kahakai down a couple miles to the beach, so pretty the lava rock and green-laden park, perfect place to relax.Overall, I think you and your family will enjoy this tiny getaway.
