Awesome Chetek Escape!

My intention was to get some work done, but you cannot help but feel relaxed! As hard as i tried i found myself on the deck watching wildlife and forgetting my stress! This is a birdwatchers paradise even in cooler temps. I didnt even realize how much i have enjoyed my time watching them its just so easy!

Third stay at Chetek Escape

This was our third stay at Chetek Escape and we enjoyed our daily Prairie Llake view, morning and evening. This home has everything you need. Plenty of space and if you want tv, there are plenty of streaming choices. The internet works great too. About a 5 minute drive into town. There is a local grocery store, a new bakery, which we recomend, and a new ice cream shop. The house is located on a quiet street a few miles from town and has a nice fenced in yard if you have dogs. The property manger is great at keeping in touch. The home is very clean, cozy, and quet. Enjoy your stay!

Anniversary getaway

Relax wedding weekend

Came to relax and attend a wedding. Nice, quite location and close to our destination. Enjoyed the weekend and host was very responsive. Would stay here again

Great getaway in Chetek

Took the family for Labor Day & had an amazing time. View from the deck is beautiful. The campground next door has pontoon rentals, so we spent the day on the lake. Highly recommended!

Perfect for us

The house was just right for us. The boat dock, fire pit, fish cleaning table and rear deck were used extensively. We hope to be back next June.

Chetek getaway

The property was nice, but the carpet was a bit stained. Could use a cleaning. The deck was great we enjoyed sitting and enjoying the lovely view of the lake.

Second time here

This was our second stay here at Chetek Escape. Still a nice comfortable peaceful place to relax and enjoy the lake. The balcony overlooks Prairie Lake and the lake's island. Beautiful surroundings a few miles from Chetek. Plenty of space. Comfy bed, lots of extra blankets and towels. A fun magical shower head. Well equipped kitchen for cooking. Electric fireplace to enjoy while reading or playing a game. Plenty of books to read in case you forgot your own. Board games to play as well as cards. The owner, Robert checked in on us by phone and text to make sure we had everything we might need. We really enjoyed our quiet long weekend here. We hope to be back for longer stay in Spring 2023. I would highly recommend staying here. The Ehlers

Lovely quiet fall weekend

Quiet and enjoyable! Far enough from the main road that there was no traffic noise, but close enough to town to enjoy the area! Water was close and beautiful! Cabin was comfortable and cozy.

Outside and inside needs to be insect/spider treated. Walking out doors in the morning you were treated with spider webs in your face.

Autumn Delight

Our Autumn visit provided a quiet reprieve with beautiful lake views. Plenty of indoor & outdoor space in this abode to stretch. Best blend of pet accommodations with high expectations for cleanliness. Also has a large, safe chain linked side yard for use. Neighbors are nearby yet out of view. Jerry was a very responsive host & texted as needed. Highly recommend & will stay again!

Quick Get-a-way

My husband and son and myself just needed an overnight somewhere to reconnect. We enjoyed this quaint home very much. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the afternoon listening to the animals preparing for winter. In the evening we had a wonderful fire. Our dog, Lucky, enjoyed the scents and investigating all the nooks and crannies along the shore. We will be back this summer I am sure.
