Upscale Retreat in the Heart of MKE

Thank you so much for your kind words! We truly enjoyed hosting you and are so glad you chose to stay with us. You were wonderful guests, and we’d be happy to welcome you back anytime. Hope to host you again in the future!

Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay with us. We're glad to hear you found the home clean, appreciated the check-in instructions, and that our team was responsive during your stay. We'd also like to provide a little context regarding the items you mentioned. The smoke alarm began chirping due to a low battery later in the evening. Because the home is equipped with multiple smoke alarms throughout the property, and to avoid interrupting your stay with a late-night maintenance visit, we suggested temporarily removing the battery from the chirping unit and planned to replace it immediately after checkout. The battery has since been replaced. Regarding the towel under the bathroom sink, we were not made aware of this during your stay. After inspecting this area post-stay, it appears a used cleaning towel had inadvertently been left from the cleaning team prior to your stay. We have since removed it and addressed the issue with our cleaning team to help ensure it does not happen again. We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the experience for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us, and we wish you and your family all the best.

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review! I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and felt comfortable and at home - that means a lot to me. 😊 I'm also happy you appreciated the updates and found the neighborhood quiet and relaxing. It's a close-knit community that we really enjoy being a part of. I also appreciate your note for future guests. While we always aim to provide a welcoming and safe space, once guests venture out beyond the immediate neighborhood toward downtown Milwaukee, the environment can vary - as it does in many urban areas. We always recommend guests explore with awareness and company, especially if they're unfamiliar with the area. Thanks again for choosing to stay at my place, and you're always welcome back anytime you're visiting the city!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad our communication was helpful, as we always aim to provide a supportive and responsive experience for our guests. We’re sorry to hear the air setup didn’t meet your expectations. This seems to be a rare instance, as we’ve hosted a wide range of guests throughout the summer without any concerns regarding the cooling. The property is currently equipped with a standard airflow unit, but we understand that comfort can be subjective and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We did our best to accommodate your needs - including welcoming two additional guests at no extra charge and completing a partial refund, even though it was well outside of our usual policy. Thank you again for staying with us, and we’ll certainly take your feedback into account as we continue to improve for future guests.
