Hello and welcome! My name is Brandie, and Iâm proud to share the story behind our vacation rentals here in Forks, WA. My roots are deeply tied to a rural island in Alaska called Prince of Wales Island, where I grew up in a close-knit community. My family moved to Forks, WA when I turned 15 after my father passed away, for my mother to have some support from her family. From a young age, I was immersed in the hospitality world, thanks to my mother, who ran a variety of small-town businesses. Whether it was cleaning rooms, managing bookings, or helping run our family laundromat, I was involved in it all by the age of 10. Hospitality feels like second nature to meâitâs in my blood. đ
This property holds a special place in our hearts as it belongs to my parents. As the eldest daughter of my siblings, I now share the responsibility of caring for my aging stepfather, who was the steady rock by my motherâs side. Sadly, we lost my mother recently, but her warmth and dedication to hospitality live on through us. Together with my younger siblings, Iâve stepped up to continue the family tradition, pouring love and effort into making these vacation rentals as welcoming and comfortable as possible. đ
