Our neighborhood is in a fantastic central location, just a 5-8 minute drive or less from virtually every major area and attraction in the city. You're also just minutes away from fabulous nightlife and restaurants in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine district and Newport on the Levee. Our historic 1890s home comes with the following modern amenities and conveniences:
-High speed internet access
-A fully equipped kitchen including a coffee machine ( with coffee supplied) lots of pots, pans, cutlery and glassware.
-Complete set of linens in every room.
-Fully stocked laundry room
As the home was built in 1896 prior to the invention of automobiles, the home does not have a driveway. There is however plenty of (free) on street parking.
The third floor does not have direct heating or air conditioning, however heating is provided by portable space heaters, and two huge window air conditioners and fans.
Therefore this floor is comfortably warm or as cool as you require.
All reservations must be a two night minimum.
Discounts for weekly and monthly stays.
Dogs and cats are not permitted. A fee of $1000.00 will be issued along with additional costs if permission is not granted.
Smoking, Vaping, Marijuana is strictly forbidden within the house. A fine/fee of $1500.00 will be issued if there is smoking, vaping or marijuana usage within the home, plus additional costs.
Please note the backyard furniture is not available from November 5 to April 15.
We must be notified about plans to host an event or have a party. Failure to inform us and request approval will result in cancelation without refund.
In an effort to ensure guest satisfaction and consistency we ask that guests agree to the follow customized house rules prior to confirming their reservation:
1. In the rare event that any issue should arise, any issues, complaints, concerns or otherwise (without limitation) you agree to grant the hosts 48 hours to correct, address and/or resolve the issues and/or complaints. Provided we resolve the issue, complaint or concern within 48 hours you agree that the issue will be closed and the reservation will remain in good standing. No cancelation is permitted without allowing the host a reasonable 48 hour time frame to address any and all concerns.
2. By accepting these house rules / conditions you agree and understand that these customized house rules supersedes the standard airbnb policy.
3. By accepting these house rules you are agreeing that under no circumstances can a reservation be canceled for any reason other than our failure as hosts to correct any complaint, issue or otherwise (without limitation) within 48 hours by which the 48 hour clock starts the moment a guest formally reports the concern, issue or otherwise directly to us as hosts in writing (without limitation)
4. Events and gatherings must be clearly communicated and approved prior to making a reservation.
5. Airbnb limits reservations to 17 guests. if you group is larger than 16 we must be notified in advance and guest count must be approved.
6. This home is equipped to sleep as many as 17 people. City bylaws prohibit more than 17 people (adults and or children) in this unit. Guests who lie about the number of guests will be asked to leave immediately and without refund.
7. This property is a non-smoking home. Any smoking or vaping in the home will lead to immediate cancellation and a fine of $500 for ozone cleaning + the cost of any cancelled reservations / lost revenue as the result of cancellation.
8. Guests are expected to follow the published check out rules:
a) Clean up your garbage (all garbage to be in garbage bags / can in the kitchen)
b) Return all dishes to the kitchen and wash your dishes.
c) Return all towels to the washroom
d) Leave all your linens on your bed
Guests who do not comply will be charged an addition $100 for cleaning.
9. Any damaged or missing items, including but not limited to liens will be charged. (Towels and any bedding $25 per piece (including pillow cases), comforters and quilts $100 each)
10. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints. The first time we notify you in writing. If we receive a second complaint your group will be asked to leave regardless of the hour of day and without refund.
11. Incidents requiring police involvement will be subject to a $1000 fine to be paid by you the guest.
