Wedding shower in KY

Very nice house, secluded and very quiet. It was very nice to come back to after a busy day and just relax. The fresh eggs and berries we a nice treat.

This is a beautiful property and very peaceful. We were in town for a celebration of life, so it was nice to have a place to relax and spend quality time with family. Our hosts were very responsive to all our questions and super helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Perfect Ridgetop Escape

It was a fantastic and quiet get away! We really enjoyed our time and the house was beautiful. We especially loved the master suite! We had issues with finding the right turn for the house originally but did eventually find it but we had drove in super late at night. The rest of our party staying had no issues finding it though. My son enjoyed the open space of the downstairs to run around and play, plus watch what he wanted if he didn't enjoy the shows on upstairs. It took us a minute to figure out the light/fan switches around the house but when we did it was great to be able to adjust them so much. We will have to come back in spring/summer to sit on the back porch when the garden and everything there is blooming. Nadia was fantastic, very personable, and quick to respond if I needed anything or had questions. If you are looking for a little slice of heaven on a ridge then this is the place to stay!

Pros and cons

Pros - Nice quiet area, big house, great laundry access, fresh eggs and blackberries were delicious, my son had fun exploring and found a geode, lots of spices in the kitchen, great wifi, and host addressed concerns immediately Cons - There was some kind of animal hair throughout the house and especially in bedding. I am highly allergic and it lead to asthma episode. The listing said no pets allowed, so I assumed that animal hair wouldn't be an issue. Not all areas were thoroughly cleaned Ex. Wine glasses had wine left behind in them. Animal hair in the bedding and pillows, so we had to wash them ourselves. Animal hair was really bad in carpet and especially in the basement areas. Given that there is a cleaning charge, the house should be thoroughly cleaned when we enter. The listing made it seem like we would be able to see the garden and farm animals, but we weren't allowed near them. There were lots of tics in the woods, so be sure to check yourself if you go out exploring. Cookware was worn down and silverware was limited. Downstairs mattresses were stained. We were expecting to grill on the Blackstone grill, but it was rusted and there was a mouse living in it. Overall we had fun though. The area was great. However, the address listed when entered into the gps it brought us to an open field and we had to find the actual house ourselves.
