Romantic Tiny Home in Alton, IL

This historic carriage house was built in 1910. We added modern touches but really wanted to keep the character! You will have a bedroom with a queen bed, kitchen, bathroom with shower and living room. There is very fast Wi-fi, Smart TV, record player that also connects via bluetooth to your device, and hot tub. You also have a private outdoor area with seating.

We are in the process of renovating the large home on the property!

My wife and I absolutely loved our night's stay here!Extremely clean, loved the retro-vibe, and had a very nice location. We live in St. Louis, was a perfect getaway with experiencing Grafton, and Alton.Kacy was super nice and responded quickly.We will plan this trip again!

Cute place that offers all the comforts of home! Set back from road so it was quiet. Great location for visiting family and seeing all the surrounding sites in Grafton and Godfrey! Definitely recommend!!

It was a great little house throught the gate. I loved being able to park back there. The pillows on the bed were so comfortable. It was a very important time for me and my boyfriend to have that time alpne together and we both loved it. Thank you to the hosts you're great ....Will definitely book again and for longer.

Nice little place

Location is pretty good cozy feel to the place we did have some Wi-Fi issues so we could not watch TV but it was late at night so did not call anybody but all in all I could give this place a thumbs up

Single night stay

Loved just about everything about this romantic tiny home. The only complaint we had was the hot tub, though I already had low expectations for it since it is an inflatable one. We did decide not to get in because it didn’t look as though it had been cleaned (leaves and dirt were gathered at the bottom). Other than that, we loved our stay! The aesthetic of the home was so cute. The bed was super comfy. The inside of the house was clean. We only stayed one night, so we didn’t have a chance to use the kitchen. The shower water pressure was nice. We liked that you could drive into the gate and close them behind you, giving a bit more privacy.

A Whole Vibe

This space is exactly as advertised. I booked for one night and wish I would have done two! It is secluded enough for you to enjoy privacy, but also close enough to stores if you forgot to bring something essential (like I did). The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking supplies and has retro appliances that work perfectly. The hot tub is a great touch for added relaxation. The bed is beyond comfortable
 memory foam! Honestly, nothing I write here will do this space justice. You may think the price is high for a small space (saw that in some comments before my stay), but I thought my rate was fair and accurate for how the owners have curated it. When my stay was over (sad), it was nice to be so close to a must go place in Alton (Fast Eddie’s). I will be booking again in the future!

We are obsessed with Alton! So much so, in fact, that we just moved our family here too! We think it is such a charming and underrated part of the world. There is so much to do and we love the river view!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This beautiful historic property was built in 1910. They don’t make homes like this anymore. We are blown away by historic architecture and feel honored to own and restore one ourselves.
