Santa Teresa is a spectacular tropical paradise with white sandy beaches, turquoise water and incredible sunsets. For surfers, Santa Teresa has some of the best breaks on the Pacific coast and for wildlife enthusiasts, there is plenty to see everywhere around you! The Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve is just around the corner. The restaurants are incredible and fresh fish is available wherever you go. There is lots to do in ST from zip lining, to horseback riding, to paddle boarding or fishing. You are close to yoga studios, eco tours and lots of wonderful restaurants and bars for a fun night out. There is a grocery store within walking distance and an organic market only a short drive away.
4x4 required.
The property is three separate buildings creating privacy in the 4 bedrooms each having en-suite baths while meeting in the center building, connected by two pools, for enjoying family and friends. All rooms have sliding glass doors to open your living space up to nature, the sounds of Howler monkeys and the condors flying at eye level.
Villa Ayla is constructed based upon the concept of Sacred geometry. The common living area separated from the 4 bedrooms with outdoor en-suite baths gives the feeling of four separate villas for privacy with a common meeting area. The outdoor baths are an experience in themselves and give you a sense of freedom and connection with Nature!
The open concept space is located in the mountains above Santa Teresa and, as such, offers the privacy and beauty of the mountains as well as a greater likelihood of experiencing insects and other, generally harmless, jungle creatures.
The 4 bedrooms layout is the following:
- 2 master bedrooms with a king size bed and outdoor en-suite bathroom;
- 2 guest bedrooms with 2 twin beds each (that can be used like this or like a king size bed) and outdoor en-suite bathroom.
A fully equipped kitchen for cooks and a nice dining table.
Comfortable sunbeds in all the decks where you can enjoy the amazing views reading a book and having a great aperitivo!
Fiber optic.
We encourage you to rent a 4x 4 car or ATV to discover town and the beauty of the Peninsula.
Villa Ayla is a brand new home, newly decorated and furnished.
Some special items to note:
- Parties are not allowed at Villa Ayla under any circumstances.
- Internet: Fiber optic.
- Animals & Insects: Get ready to see wildlife in its natural habitat! Howler and white-faced monkeys often pass through the trees next to house, along with iguanas and raccoons! Being in Costa Rica, you might also spot harmless insects like ants, cockroaches or geckos, especially during the rainy season. Don’t worry, this is just part of the tropical environment, not a cleanliness issue!
- Power Outages: Power cuts are common in Santa Teresa and you may experience them during your stay. This is a normal part of the local environment.
- Humidity: Santa Teresa has an average annual relative humidity of 74%, with peaks up to 87% in October and lows around 71% in February. This high humidity can make it difficult for clothes to dry, especially during the rainy season. It’s completely normal for clothing to take longer to dry in these conditions.
