Historic 1920s Pink Love Shack: Walk to Lake Avenue and Lake Worth Beach

The Love Shacks are more than just places to stay; they’re steeped in history, romance, and memories. Our iconic 1920s A-frame, a local landmark, stands as a symbol of a beautiful love story that began right here in Lake Worth Beach. When fate brought a mid-aged couple together, she chose the blue, and he took the pink. And just like that, a legacy of love began.


The Love Shacks are a tribute to that story, as well as to the generations of love we’ve experienced here. My in-laws were married on Lake Worth Beach, my husband proposed to me on Lake Worth Beach, my kids were raised on the same sands, and God has written the greatest love story of them all.


Our goal is for you to feel the same love and connection here that we’ve felt. Whether you’re celebrating a special occassion or quick getaway the Love Shacks are here to help you create your own unforgettable moments.


The Space


The first unit, a 700 sq ft pink bungalow, features a cozy one-bedroom with a queen bed, and additional twin bedding for extra guests. Designed with your comfort in mind the house is adorned with Lilly Pulitzer bedding to really give the Palm Beach flair. Egyptian cotton sheets, down comforter and down pillows will have you dreaming pink.


Additional bedding is available upon request. The futon opens up to a twin bed and a twin rollaway bed can also be prepped. Both have cotton sheets, mattress toppers for your comfort and blankets.


Sauna? Why not? For the yoga enthusiasts, the private queen bedroom is equipped with a sauna! The sauna can be easily turned on with the press of a button. Please be aware that the recommended time for saunas is 15-20 minutes. It is very dangerous to consume alcohol before or after use.


At the Love Shack Pink, your welcome drink is on the house and there is always a little snack to wind down from a long travel day. The cutest bar awaits you with all you need to get the vacation vibes going. Put "Love Shack" by the B52s on the Bluetooth karaoke speaker, turn the ice maker on and stir your favorite cold one. The mini fridge is also available for you to BYOB.


The kitchen is equipped with all you need for cooking or snacks. There is a full stainless steel refrigerator with freezer and ice maker; a gas stove and oven; a microwave, and air fryer. All kitchen essentials are available including non-stick spray, salt and pepper, aluminum foil, oven pans, etc.



The bathroom is a bathtub/shower combo. It features a hand made vanity sink. The LED lighted mirror is perfect for getting ready. White cotton towels, hand towels, makeup cloth and wash cloths are ready for use as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.



To get you beach ready, there are 4 beach towels, a beach bag, and sunscreen by the back door. The beach pails and shovels and boogie boards are first come first serve and located in the shed.



Outdoor space

The highlight of the property is the shared courtyard. A beautiful chandelier lights up the sky at night. There are 2 lounge chairs and umbrella for each property. The folding chairs and table are available for hosting a dinner or gathering. The grill is first come first serve. Sip on your welcome drink and lounge under the umbrella.


Guest Access


We want your stay to be as convenient as possible, so here are a few details to help you settle in.



Parking:

Street parking on the nearby streets is free and usually plentiful. There is parking available directly in front of the house, but please note that it’s on a first-come, first-served basis. During the week, it’s easy to find a spot, but on nights and weekends, Lake Avenue draws a crowd, and parking can be trickier. If the front spots are full, feel free to park a little further down the street—there’s plenty of space!


Access & Entry:


For added privacy, we’ve made sure both shacks have separate entries:


The Pink Love Shack
is located in the front of the property, and guests will walk directly to the front door. The door itself is historic, and can be a little tricky to open. To unlock it, simply hold the handle toward you and enter the access code. Once you’ve done that, give it a little push to open. It’s part of the charm!


The Blue Love Shack is accessed from the right side of the property, through a gate, and leads into the courtyard.


Proximity to Attractions:


Lake Worth Beach is just a short walk away, and everything you need—shopping, dining, and the lively Lake Avenue scene—is within walking distance. It’s a perfect spot for those who want to enjoy the beach, local culture, and more, all while staying in a quiet, charming setting.
