Shave Gårdsstuga är en nyligen ombyggd lada. Det är parhus till de viktigaste lantgård som daterar sig till slutet av 18th century. Stugan är modern och rymlig med en stor öppen planlösning och exponerade takbjälkar hela. Det finns två stora rum med egna badrum som går ut från de största vardagsrum. Dessa båda har king size-sängar och utsikt landsbygden. Köket är fullt utrustat med fyra plattor och ugn, mikrovågsugn, kyl, diskmaskin och tvättmaskin / torktumlare. Stugan har centralvärme, egen stor trädgård med studsmatta och rutschkana och en egen privat badtunna. Shave gårdsstuga är det perfekta stället att varva ner och slappna av och ett kompletterande hindra ingår, så det börjar så fort du anländer.

Bondgård: Shave Farm Stugan är på en farm, där vi mjölk cirka 100 kor. Gästerna är välkomna att följa mjölkning eller ens hjälpa till att utfodra kalvar.

Privat badtunna: Raka gårdsstuga levereras komplett med en egen privat badtunna.

Peaceful

Good location. Private and sat in lovely gardens and surroundings with pleasant country views. Spacious accommodation with big rooms, gorgeous flag floor and a very cosy hotel just by the bedroom door, under vine cladded pergola filled with birdsong. Great blackout curtains and friendly hosts.

Amazing

Kate and James the Hosts were very friendly and helpful.The accommodation was beautiful inside and of a boutique hotel standard .comfortable beds and each bedroom had ensuite which was great .all the equipment you would need for a self catering property was of a high standard .The private hot tub was definitely an added bonus after a day exploring National Trust properties 4 of which were very close by . The local pub served excellent food as recommended by our hosts in the information booklet provided .We would definitely make another visit in the future .

Wonderful accomdation

Beautiful bungalow in a peaceful farm location complete with fantastic hot tub. Well stocked, very clean and loved the welcome gift of chocolates & wine. Highly recommend! James & Kate are lovely hosts.

Wonderful Easter Break

Lovely stay in the self catering cottage very comfortable a home from home. The hot tube was just what was needed after a few long walks. Location is great can get to most other towns and villages. The owners were lovely and we enjoyed meeting the new baby calves. Would definitely stay again.

Shave farm

What a beautiful accomodation. The hosts were very kind and gave us all sorts of information about the area. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean.The garden was lovely and the garden furniture was perfect. The only negative was the noise from the nearby road, but you didn't hear it from inside the house. We would highly recommend the accomodation.

Lovely break

We spent a week here in August and have just got round to submitting a review. The cottage was very comfortable and clean and the farm itself was well kept and beautiful. We all loved the hot tub, as well as the opportunity to roast marshmallows at the firepit. Kate and James were really friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again or to recommend to others.

Fantastic weekend away

We stayed in the self catering cottage for a long weekend in June 21. Kate greeted us when we arrived and showed us to the cottage, the bottle of wine and box of chocolates was a lovely touch. The cottage is very spacious and spotlessly clean. The grounds were very pretty with the cottage garden flowers in bloom. The kids loved visiting the animals and playing on the play equipment. There was plenty of space around the cottage for them to play safely too. The hot tub was a fantastic addition after a long day out. We will definitely be back!

Nice break

Kitchen is being updated soon, new oven and hob mainly needed and bigger fridge. Plenty of kitchen equipment provided. Bedrooms are roomy and comfortable but chest of drawers would be helpful. Found hot tub temperamental, all jets wouldn't work together but lovely and warm. Hosts extremely helpful. Quite near to A303 so had some road noise.

Séjour d'une semaine dans le somerset

Après un excellent accueil, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette très agréable maison. La propriété est calme et bien située pour visiter les lieux touristiques environnants. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Lovely relaxing break with great hosts and property that was really comfortable, home from home.

Second time we have been back to property, high standard and really enjoyed hot tub. Area very central and lots of places to visit around.

Lovely spacious accommodation

The barn conversion was perfect. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub provided a lovely place to relax at the end of each day. The children thoroughly enioyed using the goal to play football and bouncing on the trampoline.

Cannot recommend enough!!!

Kate made us feel very welcome, the house was lovely and cosy super clean, with everything we needed. Enjoyed every minute of being there. Hot tub was the cherry on top of the cake

Homely stay with a touch of luxury

We had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed having the hot tub to relax on at the end of a day exploring the Jurassic coast. The owners are on site and were very helpful. We were very pleased with the accommodation and would highly recommend it!

Beautiful property in lovely surroundings

Shave Farm is a lovely setting for a relaxing holiday. The Cottage is extremely well appointed and comfortable. The hot tub is an essential for us when we stay in the UK and this one didn’t let us down. It’s huge and really easy to operate. Kate and James were the perfect hosts; available if you need them but otherwise unobtrusive. Thank you for having us!

Wonderful stay

We had such a wonderful time. Kate and James were so welcoming and kind - they let the kids feed the young calves, take a goat on a walk, collect fresh eggs and even go for a ride on the quad bike! Lots of do, beautiful location and lovely people. Thank you for a lovely stay :)
