From Ashley: Our mini vacation to Black Rattle Lake was beyond our expectations. The lake frontage was the highlight for us. With kayaks, floaties, the beautiful dock and sandy beach, we rarely left the lake. Would definitely recommend

we spent nearly the entire time either on the deck, at the firepit or down by the lake at the dock and it did not disappoint.
Reconnect and unwind with loved ones in this family-friendly 2 bedroom cozy cabin on the Lake in LaBelle, on the beautiful south shore. Only 28min to Bridgewater or Lunenburg for a day trip.
Experience the beauty and serenity of Black Rattle Lake. We have a small sandy beach that drops off quickly for fantastic swimming. Jump off the dock, take the kayaks for a paddle, sit around the camp fire, and BBQ with friends.
Nestled on just over half an acre with 98 feet of serene lake frontage on Black Rattle Lake, this charming 500sq ft retreat offers the perfect retreat.
The property features 1-bedroom on the main level with an additional loft upstairs.
Inside an inviting open-concept kitchen, living, and dining area features bright patio doors that flood the space with natural light. Our kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, oil, S&P, utensils, coffee, tea, sugar, and BBQ essentials.
The loft includes a queen bed overlooking the living space below, while the main level bedroom has 3 twin size beds. There is a full bathroom on the main level.
Stepping outside through the patio doors, you`re greeted with a spacious covered outdoor area that offers the perfect space to gather with family and friends and comes with a large stainless-steel prep area, full size BBQ, propane fire, mini bar fridge, patio lights, and seating.
Just off of the patio you`ll find an impressive wood fire pit area, great for enjoying smores and stars.
Perfectly placed stone stairs lead you towards the water`s edge where you`ll find a sandy beach area, floating dock, and stairs leading directly into the lake for great swimming conditions.
Experience the tranquility and beauty of lakeside living at this idyllic retreat on Black Rattle Lake.
Life is Great on the Lake!
You will have access to the cabin, as well as the bunkie which holds inflatable water toys, life jackets, and extra water jugs for the cooler.
Self check in, is anytime after 4pm on the date your reservation begins, and self check out is anytime before 10am on the date your reservation ends.
We do a full cleaning after each check out.

A few important things to note:
There is a Smart TV mounted in the living room area to connect with your favorite streaming services. Bring your own devices or some great books, we do have very fast fibre 1.5Gb WiFi (stream on any device), outdoor badminton rackets, inflatable water toys, indoor games and cards.
Cell reception is spotty in the area. Make sure to jot dot the directions to the cabin ahead of time. Itâs a good idea to load your GPS to the cabin address before you leave.
There is wood available on the property for use in the fire pit. However, please check the link offered in the welcome note and house manual before as there are fire bans and or restrictions based on location and weather conditions.
Burning restrictions are updated at 2:00 pm daily. Burning is not allowed between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm. The fine for violating daily burn restrictions is $25,000.
The water in the cabin is good for bathing, washing dishes etc., but not for drinking.
Water is provided in the cooler for drinking and cooking.
There is no washer or dryer at this property.
Lake living means that the cabin is on septic, please follow house rules and only use the cleaning products, toilet paper, etc, provided.
Do not flush anything other than toilet paper.
Do not put grease, animal fats, or any food solids down the drains please. This will harm our septic system.
