    This is a fully private guest suite with its own entrance, located in a historic farmhouse where your hosts live on-site (in a separate wing).

Nestled in the rolling hills of Hartland, just 20 minutes from Woodstock, this historic farmstead offers a peaceful escape with modern amenities, breathtaking mountain views, and easy access to nature, local culture, and outdoor adventures.

    Please note: We live full-time in the other half of the house. While your suite is entirely private—with its own entrance, kitchen, bathrooms, and living space—we're close by if you need anything, and always happy to help make your stay special.

    Wonderful experience staying at the Spooner House! Stayed here with my wife and 1.5yo son for my college reunion. Property and amenities as advertised and Jason was incredibly accommodating—he checked in multiple times to make sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything for our young son. Great trip!

    Historical Beautiful Farmhouse

    A warm and inviting host and a cute cozy space to spend a few days. Nice big bedrooms with a fireplace our host supplied wood and we were able to enjoy that. Great location for visiting our son at Dartmouth really close to Woodstock and Quechee!Great stay!

    Beautiful setting

    The view out the front sitting in the porch is amazing. And it was close to Darrmouth which is why we picked it. I wanted a charming farmhouse stay, so this checked the box. But I should have read more closely because I was expecting an entire place to ourselves. This is more of a bed and breakfast style lodging where you’ll have a shared “kitchen” where you get one shelf for food in the fridge. A plus was that they have an amazing coffee maker. I may have searched incorrectly for the type of lodging I wanted or gotten tired of looking at so many places, but it was tight for our family of 5, with three teens. Our son had to sleep in a mattress on the door. The hosts were great at communicating and checking in.
