Laughter will be music to your ears as the kids run down the path to the glorious wide open expansive private sandy beach. As one of the most sought-after sand beaches with a gradual entry, its ideal for young swimmers. Sun, sand, water and loved ones. Truly what a family vacation should be. Built in 1928, this historic beauty is a welcoming retreat for your family. It sleeps a maximum 8 people in 3 bedrooms and provides 3 full bathrooms. It is a pet-friendly home (with restrictions).
Under new management for 2025 so there are no reviews but previously a highly rated property that is sure to please. ** Minimum Rental Age is 30**
This is truly what a family vacation should be. As you pull into the property you will immediately feel the stress melt away and relax to the sound of the waves. You’ll be racing down there too just so you can kick off your flip flops and dip your feet in the water.
Open living spaces surround the large gas fireplace and are highlighted by stunning lake views. The main space is open to the dining room for family time spent together around the dining table. Character is abundant with beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, balconies and a lovely portico. But it’s the beach that makes this place truly outstanding.
The kitchen is functional and spacious with character cabinets yet updated appliances including a stainless chef’s gas stove, dishwasher, fridge and second commercial kitchen bar fridge. For the coffee lever there is a selection of brewing machines including a standard 12 cup drip, a Keurig, French press and a Tassimo machine (coffee not provided).
The home has two central heating systems and while the main floor does not have air conditioning the breeze from the lake through the windows makes it comfortable. The upper level of the home provides air conditioning making it comfortable for sleeping.
The property has 8 bedrooms but due to the Town of Fort Erie Short Term Rental By-Law, only 3 bedrooms will be available for your use with maximum sleeping for 8 people. This property also has 3 bathrooms.

Town of Fort Erie Licence: STR-00030
A license is required to operate a short-term rental in Fort Erie, and the license outlines the maximum number of guests allowed in the property. The limit includes all persons regardless of age. We cannot approve more people than what the property is licensed for.
This home is best enjoyed by traveling families and we do not make considerations for large group of young adults. Only the people registered to stay are allowed at, on, or in the property.
Only a short drive from the Peace Bridge and Niagara Falls, make this a superb location for local sightseeing and day trips. Enjoy our local activities like the historic Old Fort, Fort Erie Race Track, Safari Niagara or public beachfront parks like Crystal Beach and Waverly. Only 20 minutes away is the glorious Niagara Falls and activities like Clifton Hill, Hornblower Cruises, the Bird Kingdom and plenty of golfing and wineries!
Consider a day trip into Toronto (only 1.5 hours by car) and check out a Toronto Blue Jays game, Ripley’s Aquarium or Canada’s Wonderland.
Other Things to Note:
- We respectfully ask that you treat our home with respect and consider it as your home away from home and remain considerate of the neighbours always.
- Our cottage is in a residential area and local bylaws require quiet between the hours of 11pm to 8am.
- The Renter whose name the reservation is made is responsible for the conduct of all those using or occupying the vacation property and/or its grounds throughout the duration of their stay.
- When you are not in the house and upon final departure, guests must close and lock all windows and doors. In addition, upon final departure, the Renter must ensure that all food and beverages are removed from the rental property including cabinets, refrigerators and freezers. Failure to remove these items may result in additional cleaning fees
- Renters are liable for all damages and/or loss to the rental property caused by them or as a result of their negligence or caused by or as a result of negligence by anyone permitted on the property during their stay.
- Smoking is not permitted inside
- Small, outdoor fires are permitted in the provided fire pit area.
- The BBQ is available for your use and runs on propane. Please do not move the BBQ to another location on the property and please always double check to make sure it is turned off after every use.
- Please note that absolutely no other items other than bathroom tissue are to be flushed down the toilet. ANYTHING other than bathroom tissue should be placed in the garbage. Any misuse could result in plumbing issues and service calls or repairs will be charged back to the client.
