Driftless Haus is a three-bedroom, three-bath vacation home in The Galena Territory — just six miles from historic Galena, Illinois. The home sleeps up to 8 guests.



Driftless Haus is ideal for three couples traveling together, a multigenerational family that values privacy between rooms, or a group of golfers looking for a comfortable home base near Eagle Ridge's four championship courses. Every bedroom is a private suite — no shared bathrooms, no negotiating.



THE HOME

The main level features an open-concept living and dining area with soaring vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen with island seating. A screened porch off the dining room offers a bug-free spot for morning coffee or evening drinks, surrounded by trees. The main-level primary suite has a king bed and full ensuite bathroom.



Downstairs, two additional king suites each have private ensuite bathrooms. A lower-level family room includes a sleeper sofa and Smart TV, with direct access to the hot tub patio. A full laundry area is available for longer stays. This home has Smart TV's in both living areas and each bedroom, bring your logins to enjoy your favorite shows.

Driftless House was a beautiful location for a girl’s college friend’s reunion. There were plenty of fun activities to do during the day and each night was spent talking in the hot tube and on the cozy screened in porch. We are definitely considering coming back next year.

This was a great house to host our 8 people over Thanksgiving. The house had everything we needed and was a quick trip into town. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Location was great for short trips into Galena. Love the hot tub, fireplace and the bedroom and bathroom setups. Ability to use amenities such as the game room, trails and pool made it even better.

For the price, this home was beyond perfect for 3 couples! Each room has its own bathroom and king size bed, making it perfect to split between three couple for a parents weekend away. We loved having the hot tub for our winter stay too. House was very clean and cute. We will definitely be booking with Brian again in the future!

Wonderful Customer Service

When arriving in Galena my family had some specific issues we needed addressed with the first property we originally rented. When we called to ask for some accommodations, they were so incredibly understanding and easy to work with. They wanted to ensure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. They ended up allowing us to rent this property instead. We absolutely loved it. It was clean, spacious and my kids specifically loved seeing all the bunnies and deer that greeted us in the mornings. Its a beautiful property with even better customer service.

The home was spacious and perfect for our girls weekend, nestled among the colorful trees on a picturesque wooded lot. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. Check-in and out was easy. The beds and all furniture were comfortable and well cared for! We would love to return for another visit. The host was responsive and helpful.

Easy check-in and check out. Great communication with management. Did not need shampoo and conditioner as stated in check-in instructions. Comfortable seating areas. Loved the screened in porch for the warmer evenings of our stay and loved the hot tub!

Quick spring getaway

Typically we are underwhelmed when we rent a house but this place exceeded expectations. I would say they should update the photo of the hot tub because the setting and tub itself is perfect. Wish we were here when it was a little warmer to make better use of the massive wrap around deck.

The Driftless Haus was perfect for a girls' weekend getaway. We relaxed in the hot tub, accessed the club to swim, and were in close proximity to town for shopping and drinks. It was convenient having a full bath adjacent to each bedroom, well accommodating 7 adults. Peaceful neighborhood and a well-stocked kitchen. The house was comfortable. The living room.seating area was somewhat small for 7 adults to sit and socialize, but not a big deal. We enjoyed our stay!

House was a great size for the six of us with a beautiful property and back yard. The fire was so nice to have and the hot tub was used almost every minute we were in the home. We loved that every couple had their own kind bed and private bathroom. Every single one of us noted how comfortable the bed is! Which isn’t always the case when traveling. Very close to winery and town. Would come back
