Vårt 3-rums dubbla hem, byggt 1900, har många ursprungliga arkitektoniska detaljer från perioden. Njut av våra ekgolv, veranda med svängbänk och bakdäck med grill med utsikt över trädgården. Var och en av våra 3 sovrum har en bekväm queen size-säng: bakre sovrum, större sovrum och det renoverade 3: e rummet (tystaste rummet). Enkel futon i främre rummet kan enkelt placeras var som helst på 2: a våningen. Fönsteraggregat ger luftkonditionering (modernt, tyst, fjärrstyrt) - fjärrstyrd takfläkt i köket och det främsta sovrummet. Köket är fullt utrustat - kockarna kommer att vara hårt pressade för att hitta något som saknas! Fullständigt kylskåp med frysfack. Platt-Smart TV (Netflix, YouTube, Hulu) i vardagsrummet och gratis Wi-Fi i hela huset. Trådlös skrivare tillgänglig för gästanvändning. Ny användarvänlig termostat för uppvärmning (finns i D / R). Franska dörrar utanför köket öppet på bakdäck med uteservering, bord och skugga paraply - härligt utrymme till frukost på sommaren. Elektrisk utomhusgrill för BBQ .. Gästtillgång: Framdörren är nyckelfärdig entré. Du kommer att ha privatlivet i detta hem till dig själv. Interaktion med gäster: Vi är tillgängliga via mobiltelefon när som helst under din vistelse. Centrum staden Philadelphia ligger ca 12 miles bort, med bil eller SEPTA-tåg. Nära till flera högskolor och universitet: Villanova, Haverford, Bryn Mawr, St Joe, Harcum, Cabrini, Östra, Rosemont, Swarthmore, Immaculata, Gwynedd-Mercy, Arcadia, Chestnut Hill, Penn, Drexel, Phila Univ, La Salle.

Wonderful family stay!

We had the best time and loved the house. Also so easy to walk to shops and cafes in town. We could not have been more comfortable! Will definitely come back to this house and would highly recommend it.

Fantastic house in center of Bryn Mawr

An all around fabulous house that exceeded our expectations. As a previous reviewer said, it's like staying at a very organized friend's house. The backyard is lovely, and the location was perfect for us, just one block from the shops and reastaurants, yet completely quiet. We would love to stay again in this beautiful house.

Charming Bryn Mawr Home

This lovely home has all the comforts and amenities, located on a residential street within walking distance to the shopping/restaurants area of town. It's a great location if you plan to do sightseeing in Philadelphia or a day at the Jersey shore. Whatever reason for your visit, you'll return to this home and unwind on the beautifully planted patio or the inviting living room area. The beds were all comfy. The house was immaculate. We had a great stay and definitely will return. It feels like your home away from home!

3rd time continues to charm

We're Haverford parents and have used this VRBO 3 times. We've also booked for graduation in 2 years. Everything is as advertised. It's close, easy. We've stayed here by ourselves, with my senior age mom, and also with friends of ours who are also Haverford parents. Rod is always communicative and easy to work with. We cook breakfasts with a helpfully stocked kitchen. As long as you're ready for stairs, one upstairs bathroom/shower for multiple bedrooms, and next door residents who are music teachers, all is well! We'll be back multiple times in the coming years!

Great experience

We had a great experience staying here. Communication with Rod was excellent. The house is exactly as it’s shown. We were able to fit our minivan in the garage but it was snug fit. The house was stocked extremely well. We enjoyed our stay.

Like staying at a thoughtful friend's old house in a nice neighborhood

We've stayed before and will stay again. Comfortable, organized, convenient to Haverford where we were visiting our offspring. One can take Zoom calls from upstairs desk while others hung out downstairs. Kitchen well-equipped to facilitate cooking. Good book shelves. Great to be able to park in the garage. A nice old house and attentive host.

Felt like home.

A wonderful "home" for the holidays

Our family loved staying in this wonderful Bryn Mawr home just before the holidays. I can't say enough about its cozy upstairs. Everything was carefully labeled and clear. We were never confused about how to find or use anything. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Extra bedding, pillows, towels, and beyond...check, check, and check. We felt so comfortable and at home. Thank you!

Perfect location/ comfortable stay

This was the perfect property for us. It's a very cute attached 3 bedroom house in a nice little neighborhood near Villanova. We were in town for my son's graduation and the property had everything we needed. It's close to the main road for shops and restaurants. The unit is quiet and cozy, with a kitchen that has everything. The back deck and gardens are pretty - unfortunately we couldn't sit out there because of the unfriendly weather. My husband enjoyed the CDs. The unit is attached but quiet, the neighbor was singing a little but it was during hours that didn't disturb us. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you Rod!

Fantastic Property!!!

The house was just what I needed to visit my daughter and her friends at Villanova. The house had plenty of room, was in a quiet area, and was very clean and well appointed. It had everything I needed. I could walk to bars and restaurants and to the University as well. Rod is a wonderful host: very helpful and attentive to anything I needed. Great place to stay, and I will definitely stay there again! Thanks, Rod! Love your property!!

Super clean and great location

We stayed here in 2019 and were very happy with the home which is why we chose it again. The home is impeccably clean! Rod has great communication and answers questions quickly. The location is perfect! Many restaurants and shops are all walkable. Try Snap Pizza, El Limon, Surreal ice cream and boba, and Hope's cookies to name just a few. The house has a homey feel that makes coming back from a long day of exploring the Philly area or visiting your college student so relaxing. We highly recommend this VRBO. We plan to return in the future.

Perfect Reunion Home Base

I helped organize a gathering spot for my mother and her friends (and spouses) for their 50th reunion at Bryn Mawr College. With the Mainline full of colleges (and consequently collegiate events) Rod's listing would be perfect for a group of 4-6 people who appreciate classic decor and a secluded verdant house. The property is within easy walking distance from Harcum and BMC and a rigorous jaunt to Haverford or Villanova. Check in was easy and felt safe, there is a garage as well as street parking (though prioritizes residents and should not be kept in front of the house all day). Thank you Rod for sharing your home with us and I'll be back for later reunions with my gaggle of college friends.

Wonderful Stay in Bryn Mawr, PA

We rented this house as we were expecting a friend from Germany who was staying 10 days with us; since we live in an apartment we wanted our friend to have a nice relaxing vacation in a spacious environment. We were not disappointed! This house, we called "home" during our stay, was as billed: charming and relaxing-wonderful! The amenities rivaled what I've experienced in 4 and 5 star hotels around the world! Absolutely beautiful, well appointed and functional kitchen; the owners even had food (in the freezer and up to date) in case we didnt have a chance to shop! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms nicely done. I work from home and was quite comfortable working here as I needed during our 10 day stay. I would rent this again in the future, thanks to the hosts for providing such a warm functional away home!

Gem in Bryn Mawr

We loved our stay at this property. It is located just off the main road through Bryn Mawr with many shops and restaurants within a very short (as in just-around-the-corner) walk. It was only a couple of minutes away from Villanova, where our daughter attends college, making it the perfect location for our visit. The house is well-appointed, and we especially appreciated the box of extra iPhone chargers available to borrow! My favorite room was the main bathroom which was updated with white marble but still contained a beautiful old wooden storage cabinet which kept the character, and the shower was equipped with large bottles of very nice shampoo/conditioner/soap, which we appreciated. Rod was great to work with - easy to reach and responded quickly to communications. Great house - Thanks for sharing it, Rod!

Wonderful for PA college visits!

We came to the Philly area to visit colleges with our daughter. The house is very conveniently located within 2 miles of Haverford, Bryn Mawr and Villanova. Swarthmore was 25 minutes. We also saw Franklin and Marshall which is an hour away. There are lots of places to eat and an organic grocery store very close by. The kids also enjoyed the comic book shop a block away. It would be very easy to take the train into the city. The house is cute and comfortable with plenty of space for the four of us. We had no trouble with anything at all from watching the Olympics, to internet, to printing out train tickets. Thanks, Rod!

My favourite movie is The Godfather (2) with The Deerhunter a close second but then there's The Irishman, Being There...and who doesn't love Casablanca? I was born in Liverpool in England and grew up in Dublin, Ireland. I have lived in the US since the 1980's....

Great location - Situated in the mature suburbs of Philadelphia known as The Main Line, we're 30 ms to Phila., 10 mns to I-476 and thus 2 hrs to Manhattan , 2.5 hrs to Washington DC, 1.5 hrs to beaches, 1-5 hrs to PA mountains.

I have lived on the Main Line and worked in the Education field for many years. Bryn Mawr is a great base for visiting local colleges and universities. Haverford College, Bryn Mawr College, Rosemont, Villanova University, Swarthmore College, Arcadia University, Univ of Penna, Temple are all within a reasonable drive of our house.
