About this space
Enjoy your next family/romantic getaway in a true log cabin! Located at the beautiful high end Preserve Resort, "Sky High" has it all combined with all the luxuries in your home away from home. Soak in the awesome views of the Smoky Mountains from inside or outside while relaxing in your own private hot tub or shoot some pool & show your skills on the classic multicade arcade game! Indulge in the included amenities which include a (seasonal) resort pool, 24-hour gym, sauna, & outdoor fire place.
The space
It's time to have ultimate relaxation at The Preserve Resort. After a long day of hiking, walk into your your own oasis that has a beautiful touch of modern technology combined with true log cabin wood throughout the entire cabin! Go ahead and soak in theviews in your own private hot tub on the second floor that has the Smoky Mountains right in front of you!

Upon entry, the main level boasts an elegantly decorated Living Room with a stacked stone electric log fireplace, 70" Smart large screen TV, a fully equipped Kitchen, a Keurig coffee maker (BYOKC - "Bring Your Own K Cups"), dining room table that seats 6, laundry closet with washer and dryer , a bedroom with a king size bed, smart TV and ensuite private bathroom and a lower deck with rocking chairs.

The upper level opens to cathedral ceilings and features an open game room with pool table and a 50 inch Smart TV. The second bedroom has stunning views in the second floor area. This has a king size bed (please note this is not enclosed as it would prevent seeing the beautiful mountain views) full bath with Jacuzzi and separate shower. There is an additional loft with a futon mattress that will accommodate the children or or pull out sofa to sleep on as well. If you need to check on business or surf the net, Hi Speed WiFi is included for those who bring their lap top or iPad.

This beautiful true log cabin is just minutes from The Great Smoky Mountain National Park, you'll have access to miles of hiking trails, breathtaking vistas, and countless opportunities to explore nature.
Dollywood , Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg are just a short drive from the cabin (approximately 25-30 minutes - depending on traffic), where you can experience the thrill of amusement parks, outlet mall shopping, and whatever types of food you desire!

Our week long stay at Sky High was breath taking. Amazing views, cozy cabin, great memories! Only small thing we noticed was how dusty everything is... wall art & shelf decor, under & around furniture. Cob web in every corner of the ceiling. Also slimey shower & tub. When staying in the future will pack some swifter dusters and shower/bathtub cleaner! BUT WOULD A THOUSAND PERCENT STAY AGAIN!!

Our family had an incredible time. Accommodations were fantastic and the area and views were beautiful. Cabin was clean, quiet and comfortable. Instructions were perfect and made the entire process super easy.

The cabin was comfortable for our family of 4. John was very quick to respond to my questions! Unfortunately, the view was not a 5 star. It was half blocked by mature trees. Although there was a bat repellent device, there was a large amount of bat droppings on the second floor deck. Although we liked staying in Wears Valley, the drive up to the cabin from the main road became “brutal” as the week continued. It’s doable, an 8 minute curvy drive, but made a few of us car sick. The cabin was sufficient, but needs a deep cleaning, especially the floors and cobwebs all over the decks.

We are so thankful to be host and strive to give the best experience possible. We always communicate to guests once they book and even on the day of check-in “if anything needs attention during your stay, please let us know and we will do our best to address it”. Unfortunately, we did not receive any communication during the stay at all or we would’ve been happy to address any issues as we are probably the quickest responders there are as we strive for the best customer service and fastest response time:) A Couple of things to note the cabin is in the mountains, and there are going to be cobwebs that happen during a weeks stay which we can’t control that. We actually just had our Exterminating company out the week prior and all this was cleaned. Again, this is part of the outdoor experience in the mountains and we strive to give the best overall experience, but we also ask guests to help us to help them in the process. We look forward to giving 5-star service and reviews from all of our upcoming guest who give us this great opportunity!!!

Great house

Everything was great and as described. House was clean with everything functioning, it fit our family of 5 perfectly. Communication with owner was instant! Views were incredible but you have to be willing to drive up some windy mountain roads. Pool is a short 2 minute drive up the mountain a bit more but worth it. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house.

Bautiful Cabins with a Stellar View

Wonderful stay at this cabin! Simple and easy check-in procedure. Exceptional communication from the gracious and accommodating host--highly recommended! The view from the cabin is simply gorgeous and it overlooks the rolling mountains with a clear starry sky at night (weather permitting).The cabin was beautiful with 2 balconies and of course a very enjoyable and relaxing hot tub on the upper level. Additionally, upstairs had a smaller sized pool table and arcade game machine for some entertainment as well as a large TV in the Living room and bed rooms.Absolutely Perfect for a family get away and located just 25 min from Pigeon Fordge restaurants and tourist attractions. Be prepared for a steep and slightly intimidating curvy mountain road but just know its well worth it for the view and the well-appointed cabin. Thanks again to the great hosts and the communication through VRBO app made everything a breeze. We will definitely be back !

Sometimes it’s hard to understand not receiving 5 Stars when a hosts does everything they can to offer this experience. We made 2 separate trips out to try and accommodate the guests. With the effort that was put in to meet all of their needs and the extra time and money we spent sending people up to accommodate them it sometimes it’s just confusing. We pride ourselves on the best customer service and experience, and we believe we accomplish this with this day. We are so thankful to have Cabins for families that want to enjoy them and look forward to continuing to host and give five star experiences, but more importantly, incredible lifetime memories!
