Wonderful property and host!

The house / property was beautiful. Well appointed and nicely updated. Loved the layout with plenty of room for the six of us who stayed. Host was wonderful to deal with and attentive to any needs. Already planning our next stay here...

Wonderful and Relaxing Girls Weekend

This house is in a great location and has every amenity you could want. We had a group of 5 ladies and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax, play games, hang out and enjoy the gorgeous views. The owner is very responsive and helpful and even helped us reschedule when we had a family emergency come up.

Excellent Stay

Been visiting Berkley Springs for decades. "On the Rocks" is at the top of my list for a clean, comfortable and beautiful place to stay. Stayed three days. Quiet and peaceful. No complaints at all.

Highly recommend

We just returned from 3 days at Berkely Springs and loved our stay at On the Rocks. The house is well taken care of and met all of our expectations. The location was perfect and had great views of the mountains. Highly recommend this house.

Wonderful getaway

The property looked great online and was even more impressive in person! Our group of eight had plenty of room and it was comfortable for all of us, especially with each room having a private bathroom. The community pool was lovely as well. We hope to return again in the future!

Board Retreat

Our nonprofit had its board retreat at On the Rocks and it was a perfect space. 3 levels offered everyone the private time they needed and the main room was a great space to meet and be comfortable. We had an awesome time and would definitely go back again.

Lovely stay with extended family

We had a great time celebrating my daughter's first birthday. Eight adults and one baby stayed comfortably, and there was plenty of space to spread out in the kitchen and common areas. We were very pleased with the house. The house was secluded but not too far from town for groceries, etc.

The perfect fit!

We have a group of friends that get together for a reunion every year, and this house was by far our favorite so far. The owners are very friendly, and communicate well; the house is beautiful with so much space and so many options for multiple families. We loved it, and would definitely stay there again : - ).

Our family enjoyed "On the Rocks" very much. Plenty of room to rest, relax and play. Loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The screened in porch was the spot to be in the morning. Swimming pool was well maintained, only problem was the limited hours that it was open. Great place to stay for families with kids.

Perfect retreat for our annual friends get away!

We have been coming to Berkeley Springs for 25 years and finally have found the perfect rental! The perfect screened in porch, a working fireplace, the cleanliness, large gathering areas for everyone to come together. It checked all our boxes! We will definitely be coming back here next year! Airy and bright

Loved the open living areas with easy access to deck and fabulous screened in porch. Bedroom and bath situation was perfect for our group of 7 women. The two newly updated baths are extra beautiful. Lovely and unique framed photos In each room added personality. Great location to visit Berkeley Springs!

We very much enjoyed staying at this house during the July 4th weekend. The house is clean, well-stocked, and spacious. WiFi is convenient. Perfection location to visit the Cacapone State Park and Berkeley Springs downtown. Reservation process is easy and fast; questions are answered promptly. Highly recommend this property. EM

Great place for a reunion!

Thanks again to On The Rocks for being a perfect place for our annual reunion. The house features five individual bedrooms with private bathrooms to provide individuals with privacy, as well as a comfortable space in the great room, dining room and deck(s) for spending time with the group. The kitchen is superbly designed and stocked as well. Highly recommend this location for groups, especially if you like space to spread out a bit. This was our third consecutive year at On The Rocks and it continues to exceed expectations and provide an excellent venue for our annual reunion.

A perfect fall weekend

This was the perfect place for old friends to gather for a gorgeous fall weekend. The house is awesome! We especially loved how each couple had their own bathroom and almost ‘wing’ of each level. The kitchen was well equipped which made preparing meals a breeze. The scenery was stunning. The neighborhood, the views- we had perfect fall weather for hiking and enjoying the outdoors. I would 100% recommend this house; it is even better in person!

Wonderful house in Berkeley Springs

On the Rocks was a great place to spend a weekend. The house was spacious, clean and well stocked. It was probably a 10-minute drive into town, and the directions provided were easy to follow. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants in town and all the scenery in the surrounding area. We are a group of 5 women, so the 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms were perfect for us. I would recommend this house to anyone. All in all, a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend.

It is everything it claims to be, and more.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway, to the moment we left seven days later, we felt at home. Comfy beds, plenty of thirsty towels, lots of hot water for showering a bunch of people, and the views can not be beat. It is clearly the class of Coolfont Mountain. The owners were easy to deal with, and quick with every response. It was more than we hoped for, and we are thankful.

This was a wonderful property located in a quiet wooded development approximately ten minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs. The owners were extremely helpful and courteous; answering our questions promptly and allowing us an early check-in. We were a group of eight women wanting to get away for a weekend, and the five bedrooms with five attached bathrooms was perfect for us. The owners add an extra touch by providing clean sheets on the bed and towels in the bathrooms and kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house for a group getaway

We stayed at On the Rocks for a family reunion at Easter. The house was perfect for us! We loved the layout, especially that each bedroom had it's own bathroom. The kitchen was well-stocked and beautifully decorated. It was a little cool, but we did get to use the large deck and screened porch. The area was spectacular, and we made good use of the hiking trails. We also enjoyed the town of Berkely Springs, and Cacapon State Park. We did have a problem with the incorrect code on the lockbox, but that was resolved quickly with a phone call. We can't wait to stay there again!

Wonderful house on the mountain

This was our second stay at On The Rocks for a family get away. Last time it was in the spring, which was beautiful, but this time with the start of fall foliage it was even better. The house is wonderful- plenty of space for family time, but each bedroom has its own bathroom so you don't have to share. We enjoyed the deck and the screened in porch. We did not cook this time, but the kitchen is well equipped. The hiking is great, with challenging trails within the development. The town of Berkeley Springs is close by and has a great spa, shopping, and wonderful restaurants. We were there for the Apple Butter Festival, which was a lot of fun. We are already looking forward to our next visit to On The Rocks!

Girl's Weekend

My friends and I came to Berkeley Springs to relax, visit and head to the spa. On the evening of our arrival a snow storm rolled in leaving the driveway layered in snow. Early Saturday morning the plow was in the driveway clearing it our for us so we could make our way to town to enjoy our spa experience. Thank you so much for taking care of it for us, without us even having to ask! The house was well suited for us, allowing each girl to have her own bed and bathroom. We all agree we would do a return trip!
