Casa Collina är ett charmigt stenhus byggt av rustika material i traditionell italiensk stil med balkar gjorda av kastanjeträ och terrakota brickor på golvet. Huset har ett hisnande läge på toppen av en ås med full utsikt över dalarna nedan. Huset består av ett stort kök / matplats och ett litet mysigt vardagsrum med öppen spis. Det finns två sovrum med dubbelsängar och två badrum. Dessutom är det möjligt för två personer att sova i en bäddsoffa i vardagsrummet. På första våningen finns en stor balkong. Utanför finns en stor täckt terrass och en pool som är öppen under sommarsäsongen. Casa Collina är helt isolerat och har ett centralvärmesystem, vilket innebär att det också är lämpligt för vistelser utanför sommarsäsongen. Huset ligger i lugna omgivningar nära den lilla byn San Terenziano, men inte på något sätt isolerat. Den perfekta platsen för en familjesemester eller en romantisk tillflyktsort.

Great holiday house

The house was exactly as shown in the photos, very well furnished and everything you could want in kitchen, dining. Beautiful views over the countryside and very quiet. A great place to unwind.

Excellent rental property

Great views, extremely well equipped villa with spare glasses, crockery, cutlery, etc. with comfortable seating and beds. The minor queries were quickly and efficiently dealt with and did not spoil our stay. One of the best rentals that we have stayed in.

Four days in Umbria

A very comfortable home and well placed to explore beautiful Umbria. We absolutely loved our stay. It’s not really possible to walk to a nearby village or walk in the countryside but we were content just to relax at home, enjoying the pool and views. We enjoyed driving to the picturesque towns in the area. We would definitely recommend this lovely cottage!

Umbrian Countryside Holiday

My wife and I just completed a wonderfully weeklong holiday in the Umbrian countryside near Todi. Couldn't have asked for a better home base to work from. The country house was exactly as described and had everything you needed to enjoy the Umbrian lifestyle to the fullest extent possible. Close to all the great towns to visit but out in the countryside so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Can't wait until we return!!

Beautiful Respite

We had planned to stay with our friends, but they needed to cancel their trip. Because this place was not too expensive, we kept the reservation for part of the week. It was remote, yes, but so worth it! Recently renovated kitchen gave us an opportunity to try cooking on an induction stove--amazing! Plenty of staples in the kitchen. About 5 minutes from the nearest hamlet and within 15 minutes of wineries. Very comfortable home with a spectacular view. The host and house manager were responsive and helpful. It is a country home, so expect some bugs on the patio who try to get in. We would definitely stay here again!

A modern house in a country setting

This recently renovated house had amazing views of the Umbrian hills, olive groves, and nearby agricultural fields. Inside, the kitchen had new, modern appliances and kitchen with anything needed to cook. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, the linens and towels more than adequate, and the bathrooms spacious and very functional. We chose the house based in part on its location; Cortona, Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Orvieto, Todi and other destinations were all less than an hour away via beautiful countryside. The pool area was beautiful, but it was too cold for us to use it. Check in was easy, and the property manager lived close by and was very responsive. Highly recommended; we would happily stay there again.

Quiet surroundings

The house is nicely furnished. It is located in the countryside, near San Terenziano. We especially appreciated the quiet surroundings. The basic cleaning of the house was good, but it does not deserve a 5* rating, there are a number of details which need more attention. The mosquitos were rather bothersome, in- and outside the house. Mosquito plugs would have been helpful. You also have to bring your own shampoo and body wash with you.

The highlight of our trip

We had high expectations for this home based on the photos and description, and the property far exceeded all our expectations. The home is well- designed and tastefully decorated, with a very functional kitchen and comfortable beds. The views are gorgeous, and there are different outdoor spaces from which to enjoy them - a dining table and outdoor living room on the terrace, loungers on the large terrace off the upstairs bedroom, and loungers by the outdoor pool. The property is very quiet and peaceful, great for relaxing, but also a perfect base for exploring towns nearby. Sylvia the house manager is warm and funny, and gave us good advice about where to visit and eat in the area. Our stay at this home in Umbria was our favourite part of our trip. We didn’t want to leave, and sincerely hope to return!

Umbrian Retreat

We stayed for 3 weeks in this lovely villa, well situated for touring the regions towns and vineyards. The villa is well furnished and supplied, perfect for adults, teenagers may struggle with the isolation. Beautifully fitted out in a scandi style with multiple outdoor areas. Essential mozzie screens on all windows and ceiling fans. Kitchen is great with all the supplies you need, most essentials for cooking are already there, so replace if you use. The villa needs a car and the roads are in a terrible state, the last 100 meter access is a shale/grit road, but this leads to splendid isolation and your own valley to look out at. The village is great with some restaurants, market on a Tuesday and a small store, butcher, bakery and pharmacy, you can happily supply yourself from the village. the caretaker was great and managed any request.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in idyllischer, einsamer Lage, in dem es an nichts fehlt. Traumhafte Aussicht von der Terrasse mit Lavendelduft, phantastischer Pool. Perfekt geeignet, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Vollkommen unkomplizierte Organisation. Hervorragende Trattoria "Al Leone" in Collazone gut in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Traumhaus in toller Lage

Nach 12 Stunden Autofahrt - die letzten Kilometer über Rumpelpisten- waren wir in unserem neuen 14-tägigen Feriendomizil angelangt. Das Ankunftsziel wurde in unserem Merzedes-Navi nicht erkannt, daher war die Info mit den Koordaten sehr hilfreich. Der erste Eindruck des Hauses war beindruckend. Das Haus entspricht voll und ganz den Beschreibungen und Bewertungen. Die Qualität der Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist auf einem so hohen Niveau, das wir in 20 Urlaub in Italien - immer in Ferienhäusern - nicht gewohnt waren. Besonders die Terrasse mit dem sehr großen Esstisch und der sehr gemütlichen Sitzecke mit dem freien Ausblick in die umbrische Landschaft waren ein Traum, den wir oft genossen haben. Wir waren sehr viel in den älteren Ortschaften der Umgebung unterwegs und haben in vielen Lokalitäten die umbrische Küchenkunst genießen können. Die ausgesprochen freundliche und liebenswerte Hausmanagerin Sylvia war uns dabei eine große Hilfe. Wenn wir etwas nicht wussten konnen wir immer Sylvia kontaktieren. Kurzum, es hat uns so gut gefallen und wir haben das Haus so sehr genossen, dass wir bestimmt wiederkommen.

2 kleine details : een nauwkeurige wegbeschrijving op voorhand zou niet overbodig zijn. Zonnewering aan de ramen zou het huis nog koeler en de slaapkamers donkerder houden. Verder : alles perfect.

Amazing house with beautiful views.

This was our first visit to Italy, the country and amazing with lovely landscapes and towns. Jan Erik you have the most beautiful house which we had the fortune to stay at for 9 days. Sylvia, the property manager, lives very close by and is extremely helpful. There is a good supermarket 10km away in Todi which will have everything you will need. The house has a lovely throughout, it has an outside covered area with table and chairs along with easy chairs to seat at for when you have finished eating so you can enjoy the sunsets in the evening over the valley. The house is very well equipped and clean, Wi-Fi works all through the house including the outside areas. The pool is a good size and well-kept which we used most days. This must have been one of our most relaxing holidays we have ever had and will be looking forward to returning at some point in the future. The roads in the area are a bit rough but with very little traffic, which means all you will hear are the birds and crickets. We would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area to book this house, you will not be disappointed. Best Regards Trevor & Sahra

Lovely Peaceful brilliantly equipped villa with Stunning view

We rented Jan Erik's house on short notice because we were looking for a quiet, comfortable, peaceful place for my husband to recuperate after being seriously ill. From the first enquiry Jan Erik, and his wonderful manager, Sylvia, were quick to respond, very helpful, and completely accurate. This is a lovely house, brilliantly equipped, with good lighting, super comfy beds, excellent bathrooms, plenty of hot water and central heating that works. Add, a spectacular view, utter peace and quiet, and easy distance to both supermarkets and ATMs ( Bastardo) and stunningly pretty short ( under 30 minute) drives to Big Hitter Hill Towns like Montefalco and Bevagna in one direction and Todi in the other , and really - What more could you want? It's super value for money, too. A real winner.

Prachtige omgeving, fijne plek om te verblijven

Het huis is prachtig gelegen en het terras kijkt uit over het dal. Het huis is comfortabel en voorzien van alles wat relevant is. We waren er voor de tweede keer en komen zeker heel graag nog vaker terug

Con una coppia di amici abbiamo trascorso una bellissima settimana in questo casale a San Terenziano. La sistemazione ha superato le nostre aspettative: splendida casa con arredamento adeguato, piscina molto ben curata ma soprattutto quello che non ci aspettavamo una vista spettacolare sulle colline circostanti. Silvia ci ha accolto all'arrivo ed è stata sempre disponibile fornendo anche ottimi suggerimenti su come trascorrere in Umbria la nostra settimana di vacanza e per questo ancora adesso la ringraziamo. L'unica nota un pò negativa è relativa alla pulizia generale della casa. I bagni, la cucina e le camere erano ben puliti ma alcuni altri aspetti della casa (ad esempio pulizia degli armadi, delle zanzariere e dei mobili in cucina) possono essere migliorati. Nel complesso il nostro giudizio è molto positivo, una vacanza che ha lasciato un bel ricordo e di cui parlare positivamente con gli amici. Stefania e Lorenzo

Fantastische Woche im "Happy Valley"

Wir haben eine herrliche Woche Ende August/Anfang September in dem schönen Haus von Jan Erik verbracht. Wir wurden überaus herzlich von Sylvia begrüßt. Sylvia wohnt in der unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft und steht jederzeit bei Fragen und für Tipps zur Verfügung, was wir als sehr praktisch und angenehm empfanden. Das Haus selbst ist nicht groß, hat aber eine ideale Größe für 4 Personen und bietet Rückzugsorte für jedermann: sei es im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer, auf der mit modernen Lounge Möbeln bestückten Terrasse oder am Pool bzw. auch im Schatten des kleinen Poolhauses. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist geschmackvoll und hat einen nordisch-skandinavischen Touch. Unsere Highlights: absolute Ruhe, traumhaft schöne Landschaft mit Blick über das Tal und die gegenüberliegenden Anhöhen mit dem mittelalterlichen Collazzone, der Sternenhimmel (wir konnten sogar den Flug von Satelliten verfolgen), Aufwachen mit dem Duft von Lavendel. Wir haben uns dort ausgesprochen geborgen gefühlt und denken über einen erneuten Besuch im kommenden Sommer nach.
