I went to Salem with my daughter and niece . The property was in a safe neighborhood and easy to walk to the Salem sites. Parking is on street in front and we had no problem getting a spot. There is a school across the street in daytime . The bedrooms have their own bedding and mirrors in both as well as air. Curtains or at least new blinds should be done soon . Couch and tv worked. Nice for what we came to do. Down the street, one house down is a nice view of the water. It’s on a path used by cyclists and walkers. The neighbor was walking her dog and was friendly. She was closest to the path and fence. I’d stay again.

Great apartment close to central Salem. Parking was very easy, loads of spaces in the street and it's really safe. Recommend for a stay in Salem!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is cute, very clean, and we felt very safe. It was an easy walk to restaurants and attractions. There was one small issue that came up and the owner was very prompt with response and sending somebody out to look at the concern. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location and had a perfect charm to it fitting for Salem if you are visiting. Next to a really pretty trail that takes you straight to Essex and the main area. We never had to uber which was amazing. Couldn’t have gotten anything better for this price!!

The apartment was beautifully kept. Everything was very clean and overall was very comfortable. It was a 20 minute walk to all of the attractions, and the coffee shop a couple blocks away was our favorite breakfast spot. I would highly recommend this property for future stays!

They were very responsive to our questions. The place was very clean and not a bad location. It’s a bit of a walk, but there is a great bike path most of the way!

I liked that everything was available to me comfort wise. I also liked that the property manager was always available if I needed any questions answered or any help or assistance with anything. Would very much consider staying there again! 😊

Amenities were lacking in many ways…lacked suitable pans for cooking and basics like salt and pepper. Bedrooms were cold due to drafts around windows with air conditioners and a drafty door. No extra blankets or quilts. Sliding shower door not on tracks properly. When dishwasher was turned on it started leaking soap.

Honestly, don’t book this stay unless you’re looking for a five nights at Freddy’s level experience. Neighbors above us had quite the drug or anger issues. Woken up at 3:00am and carrying on to the early hours of the day, we heard screaming, fighting, banging, glass shattering just above us. Uttering threats, men running in and out of the house, everything. All also just outside of our shared old wooden door that could absolutely be broken with one full body check. We didn’t feel safe. Also take into account we were two 21 year old women. Pulled knives out of the kitchen knife block incase we needed them. I spent awhile trying to get ahold of the host for a refund, but it’s been about 7 weeks and have been entirely ghosted. No response regarding the refund, just only an apology for the behavior of his tenant upstairs. Would not recommend this place. What a shame.

The place was easy walking distance to downtown and we enjoyed using the paved walkway that runs behind several streets. Communication was outstanding from initial booking to checkout. The home was very clean. Our experience was pleasant and good for what we paid but I think there are improvements that should be made. The outside property needs a lot of work. Looking off the balcony was like a junkyard with old mattresses and large pieces of bulk trash. The door to the balcony is covered with black paper to keep sunlight out instead of a curtain. There is a door in the kitchen is a basic lock and when you open it, it leads directly into the landlords home. Should be an exterior door with a deadbolt for security. Those improvements are inexpensive and easy fixes and the most important areas (location, pricing, communication, cleanliness) were all wonderful. I would give it a 4/5 and if the other cosmetic issues were fixed 5/5. Would stay there again.

While the property was in a good location….the property itself could use some love. There were holes in the ceiling right above the bed and in the kitchen and in some of the walls the one over the bed extremely creepy. While it said perfect for four grown adults the available space to sit after a long day was lacking( as we moved a kitchen table bench for my husband to sit on). The apartment was chilly and there were no extra linen. The doors are very thin on the back by the kitchen and front door that we actually saw the shadows of someone standing by the door…Again Creepy!! I actually wanted to leave after night one but we were exhausted from our adventures and 8 hour drive. Last thing the front door was wide open so we were able to just walk in Creepy!!
