Located in downtown Kalamazoo, this updated 2 bedroom apartment is on the second floor of a 100-year-old, Craftsman style house. With a fully stocked kitchen, dedicated parking space, well lit exterior, three-season shared sun porch, access to washer/ dryer, and a prime location, it's well suited for longer stays. Enjoy what this 2-bedroom apartment has to offer.
There are three separate units in this house; two on the second floor and one on the first. This unit is on the second floor, where you will have your own 2 bedroom apartment with a full bath, living room, dining space, and full kitchen. This pleasant and tranquil space comfortably sleeps three with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed. This space is perfect for a single person, couple, a small group of friends, or a small family. The second bedroom can be used as a study, or dedicated office space.
Many windows provide great natural light and a feeling of airiness. With steam heat and a minisplit AC, as well as plush comforters, throws, and ceiling fans, you will be able to tailor the environment for your comfort.
Enjoy the convenience of home, in the city. This apartment is located on the first residential block south of downtown. It's an easy walk to all major features around town, including shops and restaurants on the Kalamazoo Mall as well as theatres, hotels, and event centers. This is a great location for events at the Chenery, the Civic Theatre, Bronson Park, and a little further away, Miller Auditorium, and Bells Brewery to name a few.
Owners live nearby and are available by text or by phone but will leave you to your privacy. We are in and out of the building on a daily basis doing turnovers and updating the property, but will stay out of your way and will be as unobtursive as possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out if we can make your stay more comfortable.

I'm a Michigan native. I've lived in different parts of the country including the Tetons, Hawai'i and Northern Virginia. I enjoy all outdoor activities - hunting, fishing, rock climbing, traditional archery. When I'm working, I'm a skilled tradesman/carpenter.

We love the convenience of being close to downtown and all the amenities Kalamazoo has to offer. We live and play in this neighborhood. As residents, we live nearby so we are able to interact with the property on a near daily basis. You may see us in the gardens, cleaning, or doing routine maintenance. We are quiet and will be unobtrusive. Our proximity allows us to be available to meet individual guest needs as they arise.

This is one of the few original homes still standing on this block. Being on the second floor, this apartment gets wonderful natural light. It's quiet despite being downtown. There is private parking in back on the property, yet you can also park on the street during the day. We have many piece of art from a local artist who relocated to Kalamazoo from New Orleans after fleeing post Katrina
